When I was a kid in school our
teachers would go through strenuous exercises to get us to follow
directions. Our parents would do the same thing. My dad would stress
that when we entered into agreements that we read the whole of the
agreement because, as he would say, there is always some obscure
clause that could ensnare us should we not see it and contest it
before we sign the agreement. Even today this is done many times
when legislators write bills that they would like passed. They tend
to tack on little clauses to their bills that don't pertain to the
subject matter of the bill. They are banking on the notion that the
other legislators will not read the bill and they will vote for the
pertinent purpose of the bill unaware that there are improprieties
in the proposed law. It is a good thing that there are watchdog
organizations whose sole purpose is to scour through proposed
legislation and that they find these things and call attention to
them before the bills come to the floor to be voted upon.
Getting back to my teachers, they
would do many things to make us think. One of the methods that they
would use is that they would tell us to read ALL of the instructions
in a certain document before we acted upon the assignment. For
instance, there might be a test where there might be twenty things
in a list for us to perform. The last requirement on the list of
instructions would say that all that we needed to do is requirement
number three. Many were the times when the majority of kids in the
class would answer or perform the first nineteen tasks only to find
out that the twentieth would tell us that number three was the only
thing that we needed to do. Needless to say that there were many who
felt duped and they got mad because they did a lot unnecessary work.
The lesson we get from this sort of thing is that we cannot know the
full scope of the literature until we read all of it.
A prime example of this would be
what we see in the scripture in the form of what happened with the
ministry of Yeshua and the response of many of the elders of Israel
to Yeshua's ministry. It is clear that there are two comings of one
Messiah mentioned in the Prophets of Scripture. One of Messiah's
purposes was to come and put an end to sin, as mentioned in Daniel.
Let's take a look at this scripture:
“Seventy
weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To
finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make
reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting
righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the
Most Holy. “Know therefore and understand, That from the
going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until
Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and
sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times. “And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself; And the people of
the prince who is to come Shall destroy the city and the
sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, And till
the end of the war desolations are determined. Daniel
9:24-26
The other coming of Messiah is the
future coming, the one when He will come back to physically take
dominion of the Earth and to bring the Millennium of peace and
righteousness to the world, to rule with a rod of iron. The Jewish
leaders of Yeshua's day were looking for a physical deliverance; a
Messiah who would vanquish the Romans and establish His earthly
kingdom, but like Yeshua lamented, they did not notice the time of
their visitation, so the Jewish leaders along with the Romans
crucified the Messiah. We have to realize too that this was Yeshua's
fate, His being the Father's sacrifice and the establishment of a
New Covenant for all who would believe in His Lamb and the Sacrifice
of the Lamb of God. There were some like Nicodemus who read down to
requirement number 20 and saw that they needed only to complete task
number three. These people saw Yeshua for who He was, the one who
would grant salvation from sin to all who believed in Him.
The purpose of our article today is
to recall a promise that Yahweh made to Abraham and made again to
Isaac and later to Jacob. The promise, which we will examine must be
based on the truth that Yahweh means what He says and says what He
means. In other words, Yahweh doesn't lie and he doesn't exaggerate.
He is not one who is prone to embellishment nor is He puffed up. He
performs His will and He executes His plans down to the very last
detail.
For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or
one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be
fulfilled.
Matthew 5:18 KJV
Yeshua was saying in effect, that
each crossing of a "t" or the dotting of an "i" will be fulfilled.
Some Rabbis have an intuitive saying about what will transpire when
Messiah comes. They say that they cannot really interpret the true
meaning of scripture, but their assertion is that
"But
when He comes He will not only interpret the passages, He will
interpret the very words, the very letters, He will even interpret
the spaces between the letters!"
Yeshua's statement along with what the Rabbi's believe should give
credence to the seriousness that Yahweh takes about His Word and His
promise to fulfill His Word.
So what
exactly did Yahweh say to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that will impact
our study today? What did He say that the world and lukewarm
Christians could question or even doubt in His promise to the three
patriarchs? All we need to do is to look at scripture to see exactly
what was said, and the promises that Yahweh made to our patriarchs.
To Abraham, Yahweh said the following:
And the
LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your
eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward,
southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you
see I give to you and your descendants forever. And I will make
your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man
could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants
also could be numbered. Genesis 13:14-16 NKJV
And He also
told Abraham:
And he
brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and
tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto
him, So shall thy seed be. Genesis 15:5 NKJV
And after
Yahweh stopped Abraham from offering his son Isaac in sacrifice to
Yahweh; Yahweh told Abraham:
Then the
Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven,
and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you
have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only
son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will
multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the
sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall
possess the gate of their enemies. Genesis 22:15-17 NKJV
He promised that Abraham's
descendants would be so numerous that they would not be able to be
numbered. It is interesting to notice that a promise is made that
those descendants will possess the "gate" of their enemies. Note
that "gate" is singular and enemies is plural. He is talking about
one gate of many enemies. Could this be a reference to the gate to
the abyss? Jude (Judah), Jesus' brother wrote about the inhabitants
that are imprisoned behind that gate:
And the
angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting
chains under
darkness unto the judgment of the
great day. Jude 1:6 KJV
Remember that Paul tells us that we
will someday judge angels, and these fallen angels are reserved in
chains in darkness until the day of their judgment. Just a
speculation, but it's noteworthy.
Know ye
not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that
pertain to this life? 1 Corinthians 6:3 KJV
What About
Ishmael?
There are some who might link the
lineage of Ishmael with the promises of uncountable offspring, but
this specific promise is made long after Ishmael is sent off with
his mother Hagar to live elsewhere. There are specific promises to
Ishmael as we see in the following passages. The first promise is to
Abraham:
And as
for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and
will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly;
twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great
nation. Genesis 17:20 KJV
The second promise is made by an
angel of Yahweh to Hagar when she had given up all hope and while
she and Ishmael were perishing in the wilderness:
Arise,
lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him
a great nation. Genesis
21:18 KJV
The promises made to Ishmael are
separate and in lieu of the blessings that were given to Abraham
regarding his seed that would be passed on through Isaac. Ishmael
did produce twelve princes and they populated many of the areas of
Arabia and other adjacent lands. His heritage has been lost over the
years and although many of the Arabic speaking people claim a
heritage from Ishmael their claims cannot be substantiated. The
lands of the Middle East have been conquered many times by many
nations and the blood of those conquerors has mingled with Ishmael's
blood, so much so that if their claims are at all true, there is
most likely very little Ishmaelite DNA in the claimants. What little
blood relationship that would exist would be mingled by Babylonian,
Mede, Persian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman blood running through their
veins, not to mention those who followed; the European Crusaders,
the Ottoman Turks and later even the colonial powers of England and
France.
Continuing With
The Messianic Line:
After Abraham, came his son Isaac
whom Yahweh reaffirmed His covenant with Abraham's seed through his
second son, Isaac:
And I
will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will
give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall
all the nations of the earth be blessed; Genesis 26:4 KJV
Yahweh makes the same promise to
Isaac that He made to Abraham, but he expands His promise a bit
more. Yahweh promises Isaac all of the surrounding countries and He
promises that through Isaac's seed that all of the nations will be
blessed. There is a double meaning in the last part of the promise.
Both parts of the promise are prophetic and both have occurred, both
still occurring today. The first part of the prophetic message was
the promise of Mashiach coming through Isaac's line. Yeshua's
ancestral line has a direct link to Isaac of which there is
absolutely no doubt. We'll examine the second part of the prophecy
farther down in this study.
Isaac and Rebecca had twin sons,
one being Esau and the other being Jacob. Scripture says that Esau
was born first but Jacob followed so closely that he was able to
grab Esau's heel during the process. Rebecca received a prophecy
from Yahweh that the children represented two nations and two
different peoples, and that the elder would serve the younger. Esau
wasn't the brightest light in the pack of bulbs and one day he sold
his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup. Later, Rebecca convinced
Jacob to impersonate his brother to their blind father. The plan
succeeded and Isaac gave Jacob the blessing that would have gone to
his firstborn son. There's no doubt that Rebecca had Yahweh's
promise to her on her mind when she had Jacob perform this daring
fete. Esau became mad and fearing that his brother would kill him
Jacob fled to Mesopotamia. On the way to his destination he was
given a promise by Yahweh:
And thy
seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread
abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to
the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of
the earth be blessed. Genesis 28:14 KJV
Again Yahweh affirms that Jacob's
seed will be a blessing to all people of the earth. Another
prophetic blessing is given and this time Yahweh tells that he will
disperse Jacob's seed in all four directions, basically telling him
that his seed is going to live all over the world.
Now we have seen how Yahweh
promised some very wonderful blessings to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
but when did these things occur, or are they still events that will
occur in the future. Well, as we mentioned above, the world has been
blessed by one specific person, Yeshua Ha Mashiach, who was of
Abraham's seed; a son of Jacob and Judah and yes, even Levi, both
Jacob's sons. But Yahweh told Jacob that he would go all over the
earth in all four directions. We'll look at that soon, but we have
to see a couple of other things first. There are a two more things
that play into this whole thing.
We know that Jacob, whom Yahweh
later named Israel had twelve sons by four wives. The 12 sons of
Israel (Jacob) were: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher and Joseph. However, Reuben lost
his rights as firstborn by defiling Jacob’s bed (Genesis 35:22;
49:3-4). In Reuben and Joseph's place, Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim
and Manasseh, became tribes of Israel (Genesis 48:5-6). As a result,
the twelve tribes became Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun,
Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh. However,
if we look at the sons who are listed in the Book of Revelation, the
sons who are important to the "last days," and the playing out of
the final victory of Yahweh, the names are different, being; Judah,
Reuben, Gad, Asher, Naphtali, Manasseh, Simeon, Levi, Issachar,
Zebulun, Joseph and Benjamin. It is interesting that for the first
time that I can ascertain, Joseph is listed as a tribe along with
his son Manasseh. The tribes of Dan and Ephraim are missing from the
list in Revelation. Why this is, only Yahweh knows and if He
determines to choose twelve thousand from each of these tribes
during the time of Jacob's Trouble, that is His business.
When Solomon died and Rehoboam (at
or around 926 BC) became the king there was a civil war and ten of
the tribes moved north to form what was known as Israel and two of
the tribes, Judah and Benjamin (along with most of Levi) stayed in
the south and effectively became known as Judah. The northern tribes
of Israel deteriorated quite quickly and adopted the worship of
false gods and it wasn't too long before they started to war with
the Kingdom of Assyria. As a punishment from Yahweh, He allowed the
Assyrians to conquer Israel and they were dispersed to never return
again to the land. Several years later Judah decayed and worshipped
false gods and Yahweh allowed Babylon to conquer them and to take
them back to Babylon as slaves, but with the promise that they would
return after seventy years. After the allotted years had expired
some of the tribes of Judah and Benjamin and Levi returned to Judah,
but some stayed in Babylon, never to return.
Of course, there was another
dispersion of Judah that came in two waves. In 70 AD there was a
revolt in Judea and the Romans sent legions of soldiers who captured
Jerusalem after a long siege, at which time they destroyed the
Temple and most of Jerusalem. The final dispersion of Judah came in
135 AD after the Bar Kochba revolt. At this time most of Jews in the
land were exiled to other lands and not allowed to return. The
Romans rebuilt Jerusalem and named it
Aelia Capitolina, erected
a temple to Jupiter where the temple of Yahweh once stood, and they
even declared an edict that no circumcised person could enter the
city. If anyone circumcised did enter the city they were put to
death. The Romans renamed the province Palestinia as a final affront
to the Jews because Palestinia was the Roman name for the
Philistines, the Jews' long time enemy. This sort of clarifies a
little the whole modern day "Palestinian" issue.
We know where Judah, Benjamin and
Levi were exiled to and we know that some came back from Babylon,
but some stayed there. Many speculate that the "Wise Men" in the
Gospel accounts were Jews from Babylon who might have read the stars
to tell the future, but they probably were very familiar with
Daniel's prophecy which gave a mathematical formula for when the
Messiah would be "cut off" for the people. Personally, I think that
they were prophets who knew scripture and that their following of
the star of Bethlehem was just an added bonus for them to find the
exact location of the child Yeshua. We know too where the Romans
dispersed the Jews at both of their dispersions. They were dispersed
throughout most of the known Roman world; throughout Europe, north
Africa and parts of the Middle East. Over the past sixty years the
descendants of Judah, Benjamin and Levi have been returning to the
Eretz Israel, but where are the other ten tribes?
Many books have been written and
many doctrines have been developed about the fate of the Lost Ten
Tribes of Israel. For the sake of this study, we will not delve very
deep into the hundreds of speculations as to the location of the
Tribes. We will sort of skim over this subject because although it
is a fascinating study, it is very deep and we only need to know a
little about this for our research. Basically, in the ancient days,
when one power conquered another power they would remove the
indigenous people from their lands and replace them with people that
they conquered elsewhere. In the case of the conquered Israeli
tribes this was the case. People were brought in from other areas
and placed into Israel, many of which came to be known as
Samaritans. The new residents intermingled with the Jews who
remained in the land accepting some Jewish tradition and religious
habits, but retaining many of their own. This is why the Jews of
Yeshua's day disliked the Samaritans so much. They viewed them as a
pollution or corruption of Israel.
Again, without going very deep into
dispersion studies, we have ascertained the following information.
There are small tribes all over Asia, some who are overtly Jewish by
tradition, and some who have customs that are similar to Jewish
traditions. Tribes in India claim to come from exiled Israel. The
Bene Ephraim in southern India claim to be descendants of Ephraim
while the Bene Menashe from northeast India claim to be descendants
of the Tribe of Manasseh. Then there are the Bukharan Jews from
Persia who claim to be Descendants of Ephraim. The Pashtun people
from Afghanistan claim to be one of the Lost Tribes of Israel. The
Kashmiri people also traditionally trace their ancestry back to the
Lost Tribes of Israel. The Chiang Min people of northwestern China
claim to be descendants of Abraham. The Makuya sect of Japan
believes that there are many parallels between ancient Japanese
culture and Biblical practice and that these parallels indicate a
Lost Tribes origin for many aspects of Japanese religion and
culture.
Some peoples from Africa claim to
descend from Israel. The Falashas from Ethiopia, who have ancestry
derived from the union between Solomon and the Queen of Sheba also
have a population that says that it comes from the Tribe of Dan. The
Igbo Jews of Nigeria claim that they come from five tribes of
Israel; Ephraim, Manasseh, Levi, Zebulun and Gad. Another group from
Ghana, called "The House of Israel," claims to come from the lost
tribes. The Lemba tribe from Southern Africa claims to be descended
from a lost tribe which fled from modern Yemen and journeyed south
to where they are now.
Tradition holds that some of the
tribes were relocated to the Caucasus area of Eurasia and many
scholars associate the ancient Scythians with the lost tribes. Some
who have studied the Lost Tribes have traced their movements from
the Caucasus through what is in modern times Southern Russia and
then into Eastern and Western Europe. There would have been hundreds
of years for migration to Europe proper and it is possible that
these tribes were already present in Europe centuries before their
brothers from Judah, Benjamin and Levi were exiled there. Many
people in Denmark and people around the world of Danish descent
claim to belong to the Tribe of Dan. Interestingly enough, during
World War Two, when the Germans were rounding up Jews all over
Europe many Danes risked their lives to hide them. King Christian X
was an interesting man who reigned during the war. During a
conversation with his finance minister, Vilhelm Buhl, when the
subject was raised about the possibility that the Germans would
press the Danish government to force the Jews to wear the golden
star on their garments, the King remarked, "perhaps then we should
all wear it." This was a fine gesture of solidarity with the Jewish
people, but in addition, perhaps his comment sheds light on the
origins of the Danish people, a very ancient Hebrew origin.
The Jewish Bible, called the Tanakh
is broken up into three divisions. The first division is called the
Torah, or The Law of Moses. It consists of the Five Books of Moses;
the first five books of all Christian and Jewish Bibles. The second
division is called The Nevi-im; Nevi being the Hebrew word for
prophet and the "im" suffix makes the word plural, so the Tanakh
section called Neviim, is the Prophets. The third division is called
the Ketuvim, or the writings. The Ketuvim consist of all of the
historical books as well as the poetic books and strangely enough it
contains Daniel which the Jewish sages of the past thought to be a
historical book rather than a prophetic one.
When Yahweh addresses the
Israelites in the prophetical books He uses many different names,
but there are three main categories. Before the civil war and the
breakup of the kingdom he referred to the people as a whole, calling
them Israel. After the breakup he referred to the southern kingdom
was comprised of Judah, Benjamin and some of Levi, calling them all
"Judah." The ten tribes that separated themselves from the monarchy
were called Israel. Interestingly enough, when Yahweh makes
reference of Judah and Israel when the time of the dispersal of each
has ended, He refers to them again corporately as Israel, or The
House of Israel. We now have to look at those scriptures to see this
very thing. Yahweh, speaking through Jeremiah said the following:
“Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD, “that it
shall no more be said, ‘The LORD lives who brought up the
children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘The LORD
lives who brought up the children of Israel from the land
of the north and from all the lands where He had driven them.’
For I will bring them back into their land which I gave to their
fathers. Jeremiah 16:14-15 NKJV
In the scripture above Yahweh is
saying that in the day when that scripture will be fulfilled the
people who echo the words of the passage will not identify the
homecoming as the deliverance from Egyptian bondage, but as a
homecoming from a dispersion. The four hundred year stay in Egypt
came about as a willful move by free men who were facing a famine to
a land where food was plentiful and where they could be sustained.
The dispersions of Israel by the Assyrians, and Judah by the
Babylonians and later the Romans came about as a judgment by Yahweh
because of unfaithfulness and unbelief. Yahweh thought the word
given via Jeremiah so important, He issued it again a few years
later:
“Therefore, behold, the days are coming,” says the LORD,
“that they shall no longer say, ‘As the LORD lives who brought
up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt,’ but, ‘As the
LORD lives who brought up and led the descendants of the house
of Israel from the north country and from all the countries
where I had driven them.’ And they shall dwell in their own
land.” Jeremiah 23:7-8 NKJV
Above, Yahweh is again saying that
in the last days there would be no distinction between Israel and
Judah, but that they would be the Twelve Tribes that would be called
back to the Eretz Israel (the Land of Israel). There are some who
will still assert that Yahweh is speaking to Judah, stating that the
Ten Lost Tribes are exactly that, lost and that they will be lost
forever. Scriptures like the following one help to prove that
assertion wrong:
“Hear the
word of the LORD, O nations, And declare it in the isles
afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him,
And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’
Jeremiah 31:10 NKJV
The underlined words above are very
important. Yahweh knows those whom He scattered and who He will
gather again. The wordage of the scripture is interesting in that
the word "him" is indicative of a singularity. In other words, if He
was just talking about Judah the word "them" might be applied better
to indicate a single group of people. When Yahweh is using the "him"
to describe those whom He will gather, He is denoting that He will
gather Israel, all the descendants, families and tribes of Israel.
This is exemplified by the next scripture:
For in
mine holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel,
saith the Lord GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all
of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and
there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your
oblations, with all your holy things. Ezekiel 20:40 NKJV
In the ancient Middle East it was
tradition for all the family, meaning the children, their husbands
and wives and their children and grandchildren to all be under one
banner. So what Yahweh was saying in the scripture above is that
Israel's house, all of his sons and their descendants, known as
clans or tribes would all serve Him, in this case that location
being Jerusalem, Yahweh's Holy Mountain. Here we again see ALL of
the tribes incorporated into one entity, that entity is Israel. The
next scripture reiterates just that fact:
“Then say
to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Surely I will take the
children of Israel from among the nations, wherever they have
gone, and will gather them from every side and bring them into
their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land,
on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king over them
all; they shall no longer be two nations, nor shall they ever
be divided into two kingdoms again. Ezekiel 37:21-22
NKJV
In order for Yahweh to be able to
make them all "one nation" again there has to be more than one
entity. Simply put, Yahweh is going to incorporate the twelve tribes
into one nation again. In the next passage we see that the Ten Lost
Tribes are lost only to the memory of mankind, but Yahweh knows
where everyone is and where he has driven them off to:
O Lord,
righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as
it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants
of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all
the countries to which You have driven them, because of the
unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.
Daniel 9:7 NKJV
In the following passage Yahweh
talks again about His people Israel, the culmination of all twelve
tribes:
I will
bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build
the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant
vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens
and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their land, And no
longer shall they be pulled up From the land I have given them,”
Says the LORD your God. Amos 9:14-15 NKJV
In Micah, Yahweh calls the Twelve
Tribes not just by Israel, but He makes the distinction that He is
calling back the very sons of Jacob. By doing this there can be no
doubt that He isn't just calling back the southern tribes of Judah,
Benjamin and Levi, but He is calling back ALL of the sons of Jacob,
or a remnant of each of the tribes:
“ I will
surely assemble all of you, O Jacob, I will surely gather the
remnant of Israel; I will put them together like sheep of the
fold, Like a flock in the midst of their pasture;
They shall make a loud noise because of so many people.
Micah 2:12 NKJV
In the New Covenant the Apostle
Paul mentions that there will come a time when all of Israel will be
saved, and that the deliverer will take ungodliness away from Jacob,
meaning all twelve tribes of Jacob:
And so
all Israel
shall be saved: as it is written,
There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away
ungodliness from Jacob Romans 11:26 KJV
Finally, we have the certification
of the Apostle John who was shown by Yeshua all that would transpire
at the "end of days." One of the things that he saw was the
sanctification of 144000 people; all descendants of Israel, or
Jacob, and recognize that there are twelve thousand from each tribe,
even the supposedly Lost Ten Tribes:
And I
heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were
sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of
all the tribes of the children of
Israel. Revelation 7:4
KJV
We have seen some pretty good
evidence that in the last days it will be revealed to people all
over the world that they have the blood of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
coursing through their veins. It will have to be of some sort of
divine revelation to each individual. We saw earlier that there are
some peoples in Africa and Asia that believe that they descend from
particular tribes that are known to be lost tribes. Whether they are
accurate in their assertions can only be confirmed by El Elyon
Himself. He is the only one who knows everything and the personal
histories of every person alive know or who ever lived. I do not
doubt the claims of these peoples. Let's face it, that in a world
that has hated the descendants of Jacob simply because of their
heritage or faith, it would not be the wisest lie to tell
considering the possible consequences should a wave of hatred toward
Jews suddenly arise again. These claims are made because of
tradition passed down through the millennia and should be taken at
face value.
We should take just a little time
to bring into the picture, just for explanation sake, two schools of
thought that are dangerous. These doctrines are based mostly on
scriptures that are found in Genesis and Jeremiah, which are taken
out of context. Let's look at the scripture in Genesis:
The
sceptre shall not depart from
Judah, nor a lawgiver from between
his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of
the people be. Genesis 49:10
KJV
A septre (scepter) is a staff or baton
borne by a sovereign as an emblem of authority. The scripture
is saying that there will always be a King of Judah to sit on the
throne. It is saying that there will always be a heir to the throne
of David, a recognizable heir to the throne. Seeing that Messiah
Yeshua came from the Tribe of Judah "Shiloh," can be rendered as He,
so the scripture is saying that The sceptre shall not depart from
Judah, nor the lawgiver from between his feet until He shall come,
to whom the sceptre and dominion belongs, and unto Him shall the
gathering of the people be."
The
scripture in Jeremiah says the same thing:
“For thus
says the LORD: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the
throne of the house of Israel; nor shall the priests, the
Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to
kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’”
Jeremiah 33:17 NKJV
The contention of some people is
that there has to be a physical "blood line" king alive at all times
to guard and possess the Throne of David. They contend that the line
was passed down physically and then in the dispersion of the Jews by
the Romans that, heir was banished to the European part of the Roman
Empire. As the centuries progressed that royal line moved east from
country to country until it found a home in Britain (some say
Ireland). Most of these people contend that the throne of David has
been passed down through British royalty over the past several
hundred years and that it resides with the current house of Windsor.
Another group or sect, known as
"British Israelists" take things even farther, stating in effect
that Great Britain consist solely as the Lost Tribes of Israel, and
that since Britain and her offspring, America, have become great
nations (as promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) that this
greatness is a fulfillment of scripture. Both of these doctrines
lead to a heresy that is called "replacement theology." In essence,
Replacement Theology contends that God has written off the Jewish
people forever and that Christianity has replaced Judaism in
birthright both spiritually and naturally. It should be noted that
all of the peoples, nations and empires that have persecuted and
murdered the Jewish people subscribed to Replacement Theology.
That the replacement theologists
should use Jeremiah 33:17 in error is a sad thing. First of all,
Yahweh said through Jeremiah that Israel would never lack a "MAN"
sitting the throne. The sovereign of Great Britain is Queen
Elizabeth; a woman, which pretty well negates that claim. Second of
all, we see that in Revelation, Yeshua wears the following title:
And He
Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the
winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And He has on
His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS. Revelation 19:15-16 NKJV
Some would argue that since his
title is "King of Kings," that He will be some sort of super king
who will reign over lower kings and this might be true to some
extent, but He also rules over every man, from the most lofty king
to the lowest of peasant. The title is used of other earthly kings
who ruled over their kingdoms as well as subjugated kingdoms, as was
the case with Nebuchadnezzar (Ezek. 26:7 and Daniel 2:37) as well as
Artaxerxes in Ezra 7:12
As an added bonus, we will throw
into the mix another scripture that shows that Yeshua is King of
Kings, and the only potentate (King or sovereign):
I urge
you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and
before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before
Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without
spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which
He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed
and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light,
whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and
everlasting power. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:13-16 NKJV
The scripture in Jeremiah 33 also
says that the priests and Levites of Israel would never lack someone
to offer up sacrifices. The Beit Ha Mikdash (Holy Temple) was
destroyed in 70 AD and since then there have been no sacrifices.
Well, either Yahweh is a liar, or He made other provisions to
continue the priesthood and sacrifice. We see such a provision,
taught to us by the Apostle Paul in his book to the Hebrew Church in
Jerusalem:
But
Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come,
with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with
hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of
goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most
Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For
if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer,
sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the
flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the
eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your
conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this
reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of
death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first
covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of
the eternal inheritance. Hebrews 9:11-15 NKJV
Simply put, Yeshua is both the King
on David's throne and the High Priest. He is alive forevermore so He
has fulfilled the requirement for thousands of years. He is the one
to whom the septre belongs and since He rose from the dead and lives
forever then there is forever a man on David's throne and there a
priest who can satisfy the requirements of the priesthood forever.
Furthermore, since the Throne of David has to be sat upon by a
person from the tribe of Judah, then a representative from the Lost
Ten Tribes cannot fulfill that role, thus making the claims of the
British Israelists null and void.
So What In Sam
Hill Are You Trying To Get At Dave?
I know that by this time you might
be worn out by all of the scripture that I have presented thus far.
As we move on you will see that all of those scriptures were very
important and will play a roll in the final outcome of this article.
Thanks for your patience so far, it will pay off.
While I do not subscribe to the
false notion that the Kingly line of David came with the dispersion
of Israel, I do believe that the two Diaspora's do factor into
everyone who is reading this article. If you have come this far then
you are curious and if you are curious then there is a reason for
your curiosity. As we mentioned before, the Lost Ten Tribes have
more or less faded into obscurity. Through interbreeding with truly
gentile people their blood has become mixed, but DNA markers always
remain the same. Simply put, you might not know if you have any
blood from the dispersed Israel or Judah, but your DNA knows for
sure.
Before we go farther, I have to
admit that in the rest of this article it might seem like I'm going
out on a limb or that I'm pushing the envelope of what is
doctrinally correct and doctrinally questionable. Please read the
rest of the article in its entirety before you come to any
decisions. If it is the Ruach Ha Kodesh who is showing this to me,
then it it vitally important that everyone reading this will play an
important role in end-time events and that they might be little
pieces of a larger prophetic puzzle that Yahweh will intricately
piece together.
It is pretty well a fact that the
Ten Lost Tribes migrated all over the world. We saw earlier that
there are people in Europe, Asia and Africa who all claim heritage
from those tribes. What if however, the interbreeding of the Lost
Tribes with the gentiles of these lands was much more larger in its
extent. What if, just like in the Germany of the early 20th century,
many people could have Jewish or Israeli ancestors. That fact would
make a majority of the populations of the world of Jewish or Israeli
descent. Depending on the recipient of that message, it could be
either wonderful news or dreaded news. For the person who has hated
the House of Israel it would be devastating because they would
discover that they hated their own people for many years, or they
would do like Hitler did, denying his Jewish ancestry and massacring
them. Or, if a person saw the House of Israel as a blessing from
Yahweh, the Apple of His Eye and His Chosen People, then the news
would be accepted with excitement. Well, get ready to be excited.
Just about anyone around the world
can pick up their local phone book and find at least one Jewish
person listed there. We have to remember though, that the people
that were dispersed by the Romans were from the tribes of Judah,
Benjamin (who was mostly absorbed by Judah at that time) and Levi.
All through the Bible we see promises from Yahweh that he will bring
"Israel" back to their land or that on a certain day all of "Israel"
will be saved. The word "saved" that is used in the scripture in
Romans means two things; one, that they will be saved from imminent
danger and the other meaning that there is a spiritual salvation,
like one that is saved from the wrath of the Messiah on the Day of
Judgment. In the context of the Romans scripture, it could mean one
or the other or both. I choose to believe that it means both.
We know about how Israel will be
saved from physical annihilation at the return of Yeshua. What
however if there was to be a national salvation, one where specific
members of all of the tribes were to be saved by the blood of
Yeshua. We've all met people who are Jewish and are Christians, like
Jews for Jesus and others, but we have to remember that these people
are members of Judah or perhaps Levi, not the other ten tribes.
However what if, by "all Israel will be saved," Paul was talking
about actual members from all twelve tribes becoming Born Again
believers in Yeshua? That would be awesome, right!?
Now, let's look at a few of other
scriptures that tie into this scenario quite nicely. At the risk of
being labeled a Calvinist I present these scriptures:
Before
I formed thee in the belly I knew
thee; and before thou camest forth out of the
womb I sanctified thee, and I
ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5
KJV
And
According
as he hath chosen us in him before the
foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the
adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according
to the good pleasure of his will Ephesians 1:4 KJV
And
In whom
also we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestinated according to the
purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of
his own will: Ephesians 1:11 KJV
And
The beast
that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the
bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on
the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the
book of life from the foundation
of the world, when they behold
the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Revelation
17:8 NKJV
After reading the preceding
scriptures we can come to only two conclusions; first, that
Jeremiah, Paul, John and the angel that spoke to John were all
heretics, or, there are people who are predestined to become
believers in Yeshua and there are people who are not. We still have
to preach to everyone, because that is the commandment of Yeshua,
but predestination sure explains why some of the people we witness
to just never get the message into their hearts.
I'd like to take an aside for just
a moment to clarify something. I am inserting this paragraph after I
have read through this article. After reading through it a couple of
times I came to the conclusion that there are people who are going
to read this article who might think that I hold North America, or
the United States up to be some sort of vehicle of El Elyon and that
the United States is better than all other lands. Some might also
get the impression that I think that Christians in the US are better
than other Christians or that we're called out to be more esteemed
than other believers. Those things are quite opposed to my opinions
of my nation; a country filled with the disease and decay of sin and
which will soon come under the full judgment of El Elyon. Frankly,
we're a mess; apostate in just about every sense of the word so I
could never think that the US is better than any other land. Also,
the church in the US is quite apostate and it is becoming more so
every day, month and year, so I could in no way put the American
church up on a pedestal above all others. As a matter of fact, I
request that you pray for the church in America, because it is only
by a joint effort in prayer with all of the brothers and sisters
around the world that this nation might repent and become righteous
again in Yahweh's eyes. I do think however, that Canada, the United
States and Mexico were used for a little while to gather a large
amount of Yahweh's elect (a remnant so to speak) but that He will
soon be calling us out to other lands and for sure that He will be
calling us out, along with the remnant from other nations, to Eretz
Israel (the Land of Israel) just like He promised so many times in
the prophetical books. I hope that this explains what you have read
so far and what you will read, and that you will see that the
Delusion Resistance is in no way and American Elitist organization.
May Yahweh bless you as you read on.
So now, since we are predestined,
wouldn't it make sense that many of the events that occur in our
lives have been predestined too? What about the forming of some
nations; are they also predestined? Lets take the United States for
example; only because I live here and I know the history pretty
well. For about one hundred and fifty years the US has been the
melting pot of the world. People from every nation on earth have
immigrated here, some by their free will and others against their
will. What if the US was actually a melting pot, not just for the
downtrodden masses of the world, but a gathering place for the
Remnant of the Lost Tribes of Israel?
The first immigrants to what is now
the United States were the Pilgrims from England. They wanted
freedom to worship Yahweh without the dictates and persecution of
the Anglican Church. After the Pilgrims the English settled in the
New World and the French did so at the same time. Germans and Irish
and Danes followed suit. All of these nations housed the remnant of
the Lost Tribes of Israel, and Judah who was dispersed by the
Romans. The Dutch and the English brought the slaves from West
Africa and incidentally, the slaves came from areas that would later
become Ghana and Nigeria. As we saw earlier, this area of West
Africa is the home of at least three tribes that claim kinship with
the Lost House of Israel. Please understand that by making the next
statement I am no endorsing slavery or it's practice because making
any man a slave, I feel is an abhorrence to Yahweh. However, what if
bringing the black populations of West Africa to North America was a
plan that Yahweh had to bring the Remnant of the Lost Tribes of
Israel, who lived in West Africa to the land where He was bringing
the tribe members from other nations. This idea may just be a whim,
but who knows. But, when you think of all of the continent of Africa
from where the slavers could have gotten slaves for the Colonies,
they just happened to pick the areas where the Lost Tribes of Israel
are located. This sounds like more than just coincidence to me.
If this is true, then why did
Yahweh move many of the Lost Tribe of Israel to the United States
and Canada? What possible reason could He have for doing this? To
answer that we first have to ask the question of, "where else was
there to go?" Europe had been ravaged by wars and hatred for
centuries. The Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches didn't just
exist as a church, they also wielded political sway and they didn't
like protestants and those who questioned church authority. We can
see the Christian Church today in Europe and it is on life support
while the population there is demanding that the life support be
turned off so that the patient can die. My ancestors came from all
over Europe; Denmark, Germany, Poland, Italy and Austria and from
what I've read about them they did not have great lives in Europe.
They hated Europe so much that not one of them ever bothered to pass
down information about the family that remained in Europe. I cannot
pinpoint any towns were ancestors were from and became exhausted
trying to find any information on them; except for one family in
Germany who wrote briefly and who stopped writing after a short
introduction period.
Yahweh didn't choose the continent
of Africa to locate His Remnant and maybe the reason is that there
was already a large population of people there and the same might be
true for the Asian continent. Australia was a good choice but except
for the eastern third of that land and the coastlines, the continent
is quite inhospitable to large populations. South and Central
America were pretty well out of the question because the Spanish had
colonized those areas and they introduced Catholicism which, as
European history had proved, was many times hostile to Bible
believing Christians. The best choice was North America, which was,
for the most part sparsely populated. The forests were rich with
trees for housing and the land was superb for farming. The land was
teeming with game and the rivers and lakes were filled with fish.
Under the ground there was ample resources of minerals and ores for
manufacturing. There was another factor that gets overlooked many
times. Each year it seems that more and more evidence surfaces
showing that a population of members of the Lost Tribes of Israel
came to North America long before Europeans ever dreamed that there
was a New World. I am not trying to promote Mormon theology nor am I
trying to say that there was a significant Hebrew civilization in
North America at any time before the present, but in all probability
any Hebrews who came here and decided to stay were probably absorbed
into the indigenous community. We have to remember that they are
called the "Lost Tribes of Israel," heretofore they have been
assimilated into every indigenous population that they have dwelt
among. Just a cursory study of the ways of the Iroquois Nation of
Native Americans shows many parallels to Mosaic Law, especially
where rights of the individual and the nation of a whole are
concerned.
An account that parallels the
assimilation of the Hebrew visitors to the Native American tribes is
found in the story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke Island or what we
now call North Carolina. English colonists were left on the Island
of Roanoke to maintain a British presence in the area. When ships
again returned to the area the colony was empty and there was no
sign of war or foul play. Stories abound of how the people just
didn't disappear, but either went to live with or were held by
Native American tribes and later assimilated into the tribes. Other
stories talk about how, when the British pressed to the inland of
North Carolina they found people who looked like a mix between
Caucasians and Native Americans, and some stories tell that these
populations were already Christians by way of belief.
So now we move on to the next part
of the equation. I think that we should recap the promise that was
given to Abraham so that we can explore how it might affect all of
us who have fellowship with Elohim through Yahweh Yeshua.
Then the
Angel of the LORD called to Abraham a second time out of heaven,
and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the LORD, because you
have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only
son—blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will
multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the
sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall
possess the gate of their enemies. Genesis 22:15-17
With this in mind we must now
examine the populations of Israel throughout the first part of their
history and also the populations of Judah, or the people that we
commonly call Jewish. We know that when Jacob traveled to Egypt with
his family there were 70 people total. According to the book of
Numbers, chapter two, the number that camped around the Tabernacle
of Yahweh were roughly 1,217,100 persons. That is the total
population including young, adults and the elderly. In the year 48
A.D. the Roman census showed 7,000,000 Jewish people in the empire
and estimates of 8 million are reasonable. Before World War Two
there were about 16,728,000 Jewish souls worldwide. Today there are
just over 13 million Jews (House of Judah, Benjamin and Levi)
worldwide. While I lack the mathematical formula to estimate how
many Jewish people have lived since Judah, Benjamin and Levi were
born to Jacob, I think that it would be fair to pick an estimate of
350 million. This might be a gross overestimate to some and a gross
underestimate to others, but as random numbers go, it is a good one,
and when you read further you will see that this number, or any
number of all the humans who have ever lived is truly insignificant.
God told all three patriarchs that
their seed would number LIKE the sand of the seashore, the stars and
the dust of the earth. All three of these things are impossible to
number and it would be foolish to try. A mathematician with the
right formula could, after adjusting for famines, plagues, pogroms,
inquisitions and genocides, come pretty close to figuring the number
of all Jewish (people of Judah, Benjamin and Levi) who have ever
lived. It would be impossible however to calculate the number of
descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel because their original
numbers are not available and where they went and who they
assimilated with are not readily known. Hence, if we took a wild
guess and said that half of the people alive today had the genetic
marker of Jacob running through their veins it would be many times
more than the known Jewish population today. And we have to figure
in all of the children that were stillborn or died of disease or
were killed though the sin of abortion (millions in America alone)
and the numbers are truly astounding. We count them because they are
innocents, as are all children who have not reached the age of
accountability. Most agree that this is around the age of puberty.
Once more we have to say that the
number of Abraham's descendants could never be numbered. At the
beginning of this article we quoted many promise scriptures, but two
of them; Genesis 13 and Genesis 15 quote Yahweh as telling Abraham
that if a man could number the dust of the earth of if Abraham could
number the stars in the sky, then he could come up with the number
of descendants he would have. Astronomers, with the aid of
telescopes have found that the number of stars is infinite. Late in
the last century NASA launched the Hubble Telescope into orbit, and
ever since, mankind has been viewing innumerable galaxies in the
spaces between the stars. Then Yahweh told Abraham that his
descendants would number as the dust of the earth. The Hebrew word
for "dust," is transliterated `aphar and it doesn't mean dust
per se, but it means all of the soil and the sand of the seashore
and anything that could be thought of as soil, sand or dust. In
essence, what Yahweh was telling Abraham wasn't that the number of
his descendants could be numbered, but He was telling him that it is
useless to even try, so don't waste your time. Just to put the
numbers into some sort of perspective; let's just say that if there
were one billion people lined up and they were all paraded by you,
and you saw each person for one second, it would take you more then
thirty one and a half years to view them all. If you started on
January 01, 2009, right at midnight; and you could stay awake for
the whole time, you would finish somewhere around August 13th, 2050.
I hope you like coffee!
Saved?
The title of this article is, "And
All of Israel Shall Be Saved." What did Paul mean when he said that?
The three key words in that passage are; "all," "Israel," and
"Saved." We've explored in part who Israel is but we need to explore
it more and we will in just a little while. We have to jump ahead
for a little bit and look at the word, "saved."
Saved: sōzō - Strongs
Reference Number: G4982
1) to save, keep
safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction
a) one (from
injury or peril)
1) to save
a suffering one (from perishing), i.e. one suffering
from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health
1) to
preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or
rescue
b) to save in
the technical biblical sense
1)
negatively
a) to
deliver from the penalties of the Messianic judgment
b) to
save from the evils which obstruct the reception of
the Messianic deliverance
By looking at the definitions for
"saved," we can see that every one of them applies to the "saved"
from the passage. First, we are saved from injury and peril. Just
about anyone who has come to faith in Yeshua can attest that
miraculous things happened in their lives before they came to a
living faith in Yeshua. Stories abound of deliverance from
accidents, from mayhem by people who meant us harm or by things that
we did to endanger our own lives. Some have been kept from the
idiotic things that they once did, that, if they were caught could
have landed them in places where their lives might have been danger
or where they would have been swayed into a lifestyle that would
have been detrimental to the plans that Yahweh had for them.
Of course we know that there will
come a time when the world and an antichrist leader will try to
exterminate the descendants of Israel and Yeshua will appear to
fight for them and to deliver them from what will seem like certain
genocide. This will be the last time than anyone will every try to
exterminate the Sons of Israel and it will lead to a millennium of
peace and contentment, not only for Israeli's, but for the rest of
the world that remains after Yeshua's return.
The second meaning for "saved" is
what believers in Yeshua have called being "born again." We saw
earlier how Yeshua isn't only the King of Israel, who has sat on the
throne since He walked the earth some two thousand years ago; but He
is also our High Priest who atones for our sins forever. That
atonement is a further definition of the second explanation of
"saved." The messianic judgment mentioned in the definition of
"saved" is talking about the Book of Life that we cited earlier in
this article and can be found in Revelation, chapter 17. The Book of
Life wasn't a New Covenant concept and probably existed in the
knowledge possessed by Adam and all of his righteous descendants. We
know that the knowledge of a Book of Life existed around the time of
the Exodus from Egypt because Moses mentions it:
Then
Moses returned to the LORD and said, “Oh, these people have
committed a great sin, and have made for themselves a god of
gold! Yet now, if You will forgive their sin—but if not, I
pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.” And
the LORD said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I
will blot him out of My book." Exodus 32:31-33 NKJV
The Lamb's Book of Life just
doesn't have our names in it, but probably everything that our lives
are (were) about. We see King David talking about this in a psalm:
You
number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they
not in Your book? Psalm 56:8 NKJV
David was telling Yahweh that he
knew that everything that he did was in Yahweh's Book; even every
tear that he cried. But the book holds even more information about
us, even before we were born:
For You
formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I
will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very
well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in
secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the
earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in
Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When
as yet there were none of them. Psalm 139:14-16
NKJV
The very vastness of Yahweh's
knowledge of us is contained in Psalm 139. There is some conjecture
about the part where David talks about Yahweh forming him in the
lowest parts of the earth. Some passages attribute this phrase as to
talking about the wombs of our mother's, and rightfully so because
that is where Yahweh forms us. I would like to submit for peer
review that this phrase goes even farther than that. I submit that
it means that even when the earth was being formed, when Yahweh was
making the earth (possibly from the inside to the outside) that
every atom, every molecule that would someday make up King David was
formed and that Yahweh knew each atom and molecule and that it would
be used to make David's physical form, and that Yahweh kept those
atoms and molecules set aside for the formation of King David; the
very same way that Yahweh has known the atoms and molecules that
would someday form you and me.
In the Book of Revelation, John is
given a tour of the Celestial City, the New Yerushalayim (Jerusalem)
and in the course of the angel's explanation of the city, he
explains to John that there are some people who will be able to
enter the city, and many who won't be able to enter:
But there
shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an
abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the
Lamb’s Book of Life. Revelation 21:27 NKJV
Again we see the Lamb's Book of
Life, and that having one's name written within has it's added
perks. The interesting part about all of this is that there seems to
be two parts to being saved by Yeshua. In the first part the soul is
saved, as we can see in the scripture:
And the
keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison
doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and
was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice,
saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” Then he
called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul
and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I
do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Acts 16:27-31 NKJV
Many believers in Yeshua stop at
this point. They don't proceed with the other things that are
afforded to believers who want to become totally sold out to Yeshua.
They are really not empowered and therefore they live a life in the
flesh. This is that the scripture Revelation 21:27 is talking about;
those who defile themselves, cause abominations, lie habitually and
so on. They will have what is commonly called "fire insurance," but
they will not have blessings that sold out believers have. They will
live for eternity and they will escape the fires of hell, but
because they didn't take their walk with Yeshua seriously they get
in by the skin of their teeth, so to speak. The ones who will
inhabit the New Yerushalayim are the ones who lived a Ruach Ha
Kodesh filled life and walked in Yahweh's precepts through the
empowerment of the His Ruach.
We have now seen that "saved" has
two basic meanings; a physical salvation and a spiritual one. Of the
spiritual salvation there are really two salvations. The first one
offers the recipient the gift of being saved from hell and eternal
damnation, basically the salvation of the soul. The second part of
the spiritual salvation is that of the spirit, where a person
becomes "born again" in the Ruach Ha Kodesh of Yahweh and lives in
intimate fellowship with Yeshua. The saved soul gets the first
salvation, but the "born again" individual has his/her soul saved
and also their spirit's are redeemed allowing them to be inscribed
into the Lamb's Book of Life.
All of Israel?
When we start this section we have
to again go back in history to recap who is who in regard to Israel.
All twelve tribes were referred to as Israel from the time that
Jacob (Israel) went to Egypt up and through the kingly reigns of
David and Solomon. When Solomon died his descendants fought against
one another for the throne resulting in a civil war and a divided
kingdom. Judah, Benjamin (which had been absorbed by Judah for the
most part) and a large portion of Levi stayed in Judah while the
other ten tribes moved north to form the confederation of Israel. We
should stop to realize that there was a mixing of tribal allegiances
that probably caused some of Judah to move north and some of Israel
to move south to abide in Judah. This was in all probability also
the result of some righteous people in the Ten Northern Tribes who
didn't like the heathen practices of the Kings of The North.
In many ways this can be seen
reflected in the immigration to North America by those in Europe,
especially those of Protestant beliefs. Just like those in Israel
moved to Judah to escape the idol worship of their northern
brothers; the Protestants (and others too) moved to North America to
escape the abuse of and the idol practices of the Roman Church. In
the same way that those from Israel moved south because they loved
the Torah (law of Moses), those who came to North America from
Europe did so because they believed that they should live their
lives using the Bible as their foundation rather than the dictates
of the Vatican, many of which are pagan in origin. Those who were
godly in Israel moved to Judah because they saw that Yahweh's
judgment would soon come to Israel because of their rebelliousness
and in the same manner many who came to North America from Europe
did so because they knew that Yahweh punishes idol worshippers and
those who hold to "religion" rather than an intimate relationship
with Yeshua Ha Mashiach. There are probably many other parallels
that we won't go into because of time and space constraints. After
all, this is an article, not a book, at least not yet....smile.
Paul, in his letter to Yeshua's
believers in Rome had to address an issue that was getting out of
hand. The believers in Rome were turning into believers in
"Replacement Theology." They were saying that Yahweh had rejected
Israel forever and that Christians replaced Israel as the Apple of
His Eye and Elohim's Chosen People. This part of Paul's letter to
the believers in Rome is important because it helps us to identify
who Israel really is. Let's take a look at the passage and then talk
a little about it:
I say
then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also
am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of
the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away His people whom
He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of
Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, “LORD,
they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I
alone am left, and they seek my life”? But what does the
divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven
thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." Even so
then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the
election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer
of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is
of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer
work. What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the
elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Just as it is
written:
“God has given
them a spirit of stupor, Eyes that they should not see And ears
that they should not hear, To this very day.”
And David says:
“Let their table
become a snare and a trap, A stumbling block and a recompense to
them. Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see,
And bow down their back always.”
I say then,
have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But
through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation
has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is riches
for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how
much more their fullness! For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch
as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by
any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my
flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is
the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance
be but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit is
holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is
holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches
were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted
in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and
fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches.
But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the
root, but the root supports you.
You will
say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”
Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and
you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did
not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.
Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those
who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in
His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And
they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted
in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut
out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted
contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more
will these, who are natural branches, be grafted
into their own olive tree? For I do not desire, brethren,
that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be
wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened
to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so
all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer
will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness
from Jacob; For this is My covenant
with them, When I take away their sins."
Concerning
the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but
concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of
the fathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are
irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient to God, yet
have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, even so
these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy
shown you they also may obtain mercy. For God has committed them
all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.
Romans 11:11-32 NKJV
First and foremost, Paul
categorically says that Yahweh hasn't rejected Israel. He first uses
two analogies about the beginning making the result holy. First he
talks about a lump of dough. He was referring to the offering of
dough that the priests presented to Yahweh during sacrifice. The
firstfruit (the first part) of the bread was offered up to Yahweh
and the rest of the loaf was to be eaten by the Levites. The
firstfruits was the choice part of the loaf and the lump was the
bread that was left over after the first part was offered to Yahweh.
The first fruit is being equated with Israel and the bread with the
Church. So, Paul was saying that it was the holiness of the dough
that enabled the loaf of bread to be holy. Then Paul talks about
roots and branches. The end of this paragraph is a segue to the
next. Paul was saying that it is the roots of a plant that anchor it
to the ground and that bring the nutrients and water from the ground
to the branches. He's referring to Israel as being the roots and all
believers in Yeshua as being the branches.
In the next paragraph Paul
continues to use trees as an example, but he expounds on things a
lot more. Paul talks about grafting, a practice that is millennia
old, where parts of one plant are placed into another to create a
hybrid plant. In any type of grafting the purpose is to use a hearty
stock as the base stock and to use the grafted branches (scions) as
the producers of the fruit. So, as the case would normally be, the
wild olive would be the roots and stock while the cultivated scions
would produce the fruit. In grafting, the hearty (or wild) base
stock remains wild while the cultivated branches would retain their
cultured characteristics. This is the natural way of doing things
and it takes the best of both both to yield superior fruit. Paul
tell us that with Yahweh things work differently. Yahweh takes the
cultivated stock (roots and base stock) and grafts the wild branches
into the cultivated stock. In nature this would not be a wise idea
because the fruit that would be yielded would be small and inferior;
but when Yahweh grafts wild into cultivated he changes the wild
branches into cultivated ones. This demonstrates how Yahweh changes
people when they accept Him and become renewed by His Ruach, which
is illustrated in the following scripture:
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have
become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled
us to Himself through Jesus Christ... 2 Corinthians
5:17-18 NKJV
So what do we have with all of this
and how does it equate to who all of Israel is? Well let's look at
things. Clearly the roots and stock are Israel, all twelve tribes of
Israel. The roots and stock were the people from all of the tribes
who were waiting for Mashiach and redemption through Him. When
Yeshua walked the paths and roads of Israel two millennia ago and
when He preached in the fields, in the cities and in Yerushalayim
there were many who believed in Him as being Mashiach Nagid (Messiah
the Prince) as foretold by Daniel, like we saw earlier in our study.
With the coming of Mashiach, and His atoning death then the Israel
that believes in Him and accepts him will bear fruit in the tree.
The twelve tribes of Israel will always be the base stock and the
roots because they are the foundation and nothing of lasting value
is built without a foundation. The ten tribes of the northern
kingdom were dispersed, but Judah returned to the land after the
Babylonian exile. But what happened when they returned to the land.
Sure, they built Jerusalem and they raised up another temple, but it
has never been recorded that Yahweh's glory ever came back to that
temple. Judah existed like any other nation on the face of the
earth, fighting off enemies and being conquered. Aside from
existing, they really never did bear any fruit after the exile and
they lived under oppression until they were dispersed again by the
Romans in 70 AD and in totality in 135 AD.
Something really wonderful
happened; Messiah came to visit and to die a ransom for our sins.
When people started to accept His sacrifice and to become saved they
were cut on their edges and grafted into the tree that had not
produced for centuries. They were a new vitality that was given to
the tree. Some were gentiles (maybe) and some were stock that was
cut off of the nonproductive tree and introduced as a graft to the
tree stock again. So both those from Judah and the gentiles became
new creatures (scions) in the old stock. Both Jews and Gentiles
became something new; a spiritual Israel, born of the Ruach of
Yahweh and all becoming one in the tree-house of Yahweh that became
known as the Church. Notice also how Paul says that some branches
were cut off of the tree and that they can be grafted back into the
tree whenever they decide to come to faith in Yeshua.
It is interesting that there are
quite a few instances in the Prophets where a mention is made of a
Righteous Branch. Obviously Yahweh is talking about a plant because
branches belong on plants. But who is this Branch? Let's look at the
scripture:
‘Behold, the days are coming,’ says the LORD, ‘that I
will perform that good thing which I have promised to
the house of Israel and to the house of Judah: ‘ In
those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to
David A Branch of righteousness; He shall execute
judgment and righteousness in the earth. In those days
Judah will be saved, And Jerusalem will dwell safely.
And this is the name by which she will be called:
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.' “For thus says the LORD:
‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of
the house of Israel;
18 nor shall
the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt
offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to
sacrifice continually.’”
And the word of the LORD
came to Jeremiah, saying, “Thus says the LORD: ‘If you
can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with
the night, so that there will not be day and night in
their season, then My covenant may also be broken with
David My servant, so that he shall not have a son to
reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests,
My ministers. As the host of heaven cannot be numbered,
nor the sand of the sea measured, so will I multiply the
descendants of David My servant and the Levites who
minister to Me.’” Moreover the word of the LORD came to
Jeremiah, saying, “Have you not considered what these
people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the
LORD has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they
have despised My people, as if they should no more be a
nation before them. “Thus says the LORD: ‘If My covenant
is not with day and night, and if I have
not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth, then I
will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My
servant, so that I will not take any of
his descendants to be rulers over the descendants
of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their
captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’”
Jeremiah 33: 14-26 NKJV
First we must note again that
Yahweh promises that He will never break promises to Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob. He says that as sure as He has made day and night, heat
and cold and as sure as the sun rises every morning, set every
evening and the moon shines, then He will have a covenant with the
Seed of Abraham. Let the Replacement Theologists now remain quiet.
So Yahweh is telling us that out of
the base stock of Israel He will raise up a righteous branch and
that He would sit on the throne of David and be our high priest.
What happens when a new branch comes out of a tree? It buds and
grows and after a time it produces fruit. This branch becomes a
dominant growth from the root stock and becomes a very great tree
because every time someone comes to believe in the Branch, they
become grafted into the branch.
But again we come to the question
of who exactly is the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel. We've determined
that they have pretty well been absorbed into gentile society and
have mixed their blood with gentile blood. Those who carry the
Hebrew blood in the gentile world wouldn't have to necessarily know
that they bore Hebrew genes because Yahweh knows who they are, but
are there indicators that might prove who they are? Is there a way
for them to know who they are? Well, the answer might just be in the
scripture in Romans that says: "and all of Israel will be saved.."
Remembering that there are two ways to be saved, one being that a
person is saved from harm, and the other being that a person is
saved from the Messianic Judgment when the Book of Life is opened.
Let's examine a scripture that we've looked at already so that we
can delve into this a bit farther:
And the
keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison
doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and
was about to kill himself.
In order to understand why the
jailer was so distressed about the cell doors being opened we have
to understand something about the Roman Soldier, or anyone who
worked for the Roman Army in any form. The Roman Sentry, or the
guard in a jail (same thing really) was expected to remain awake
during his shift. The penalty for falling asleep while on guard duty
was death. There were no questions asked and the execution of the
sentence was immediate. When the sentry at the jail saw that the
doors of the cells were open he thought that the prisoners had
escaped and the only explanation for this was that he was asleep and
didn't witness the escape. In his fear, he thought that he'd take
his own life. Who knows, perhaps he thought that when the
authorities came to the prison and saw the cells empty and the sword
in the guard they would surmise that the prisoners had overpowered
him and killed him, thus preserving his honor. We'll probably never
know. Paul saw what was happening and told the guard they were all
still there. In what must have been a tremendous feeling of relief
he saw that Paul and the other cellmates were honorable men. He
probably had heard them singing hymns and praying too during their
stay there and all of these things combined caused him to want to
have what Yeshua's believers possessed and he asked how he could be
saved. His question didn't have anything to do with physical harm
because none would come to him seeing that all of his prisoners were
accounted for. No, the guard wanted to be Born Again; he wanted to
be a bonifide believer in Yeshua and have all that went with that.
The key to understanding Scripture
is twofold. First, we have to have the ministry of the Ruach Ha
Kodesh to show us the meaning of scripture. Second, we must look at
scripture in the context of what is before a particular scripture
and what is after it. Actually, this applies to everything that we
read, not just scripture. If I was reading a story about a friend
named Bob who was married to a woman named Janice; and I read "Bob
beat Janice," and nothing else then the person listening to what I
was reading would think that Bob was guilty of spousal abuse. But,
if I read the whole story, "Bob and Janice decided to race down to
the store and because Bob is a faster runner, Bob beat Janice by
about two minutes." When the whole context is read, then we see the
whole picture. Let's look at our scripture in Romans again to see
what Paul meant when he said that "all of Israel would be saved.."
And so
all Israel
shall be saved: as it is written,
There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away
ungodliness from Jacob Romans 11:26 NKJV
So we read that Israel will be
saved, and by a Deliverer who will come out of Zion. But when we
read further, we see that the Deliverer will deliver Israel from
ungodliness. In other words, it will be a spiritual salvation rather
than a physical one. Now we are getting some place. We now know that
many people, all referred to as Israel will be saved and that it
will be a spiritual salvation rather than a physical one, although
we know that a physical salvation will occur for these people too.
In Christian circles we talk about people being saved and we mean
the spiritual salvation. We know that the spiritual salvation is
much more important because the spirit lives on forever while the
flesh dries to dust and blows away. Before we can come to our final
conclusion, we have to examine one more word in that scripture; that
word being the word "all."
And So All
Israel?
This is a pretty powerful phrase.
Will "All" of Israel be saved? What is meant by "all?" When we hear
the word "all" it has sort of a finality to it. It means that each
and every one of those who could possibly be at an event or
experience some wonderful thing were there to see or experience it,
and that nobody was left out. When I wash all of my dirty clothes,
all are included and none of them are forgotten. If I eat all of my
cereal in the morning it means that the bowl is empty of both milk
and cereal. How will all of Israel be saved, especially since Yeshua
died two millennia ago and many people from Israel have lived and
died in their sins since then. Are the descendants of Jacob somehow
immune from sin, or do they get some sort of special dispensation
from El Elyon for being a son of Israel? Having done research on
this I was blessed to come upon a quote from a sermon preached by
Charles H. Spurgeon, one of the 19th century's greatest theologians.
His answer to this question is:
"... 'The
whole world is gone after him.' Did all the world go after
Christ? 'Then went all Judea, and were baptized of him in
Jordan.' Was all Judea, or all Jerusalem baptized in Jordan? 'Ye
are of God, little children', and 'the whole world lieth in the
wicked one.' Does 'the whole world' there mean everybody? If so,
how was it, then, that there were some who were 'of God?' The
words 'world' and 'all' are used in some seven or eight senses
in Scripture; and it is very rarely that 'all' means all
persons, taken individually. The words are generally used to
signify that Christ has redeemed some of all sorts—some Jews,
some Gentiles, some rich, some poor, and has not restricted his
redemption to either Jew or Gentile." (Charles H.
Spurgeon, Particular Redemption, A Sermon, 28 Feb 1858).
Spurgeon really helps to understand
the vernacular that is being spoken in Romans concerning "all of
Israel." Anyone who has done any serious Bible study knows that
Yahweh always seems to end up with "remnants" of people that won't
bend the knee to the oppressor or who remain faithful to Him no
matter what. This is true because most people are known as
"followers" of other people and keepers of "fads" or "trends" that
happen to be popular during their lifetimes. Our parents knew this
and they would always ask us question to get us to think about what
we were doing. My mother would always ask me "well, if everyone in
the neighborhood jumped off of the Brooklyn Bridge would you jump
too." Well, of course I wouldn't have, and although the question
seemed stupid when we were kids, it caused us to assess our
situations. These days we hear about certain television programs and
we're told that "everyone is watching it." So many people do things
because it seems like everyone else is doing them, but if you look
around you will notice that there are those who don't want to follow
to the tune of the Pied Piper. Those of you who are reading this and
who are members of The Delusion Resistance website are people such
as this. We may have been followers of the world but sooner or later
we saw that the world was wrong and that its ways are corrupt and we
sought out something better, someone who had higher ideals and
precepts, namely, Yahweh Yeshua!
The point is that remnants are the
ones that are drawn to righteousness and holiness. It was a minority
of people that Yahweh chose to enter the Ark. They were the ones who
were "perfect in their generations," meaning that they weren't
corrupted in their DNA code nor were they corrupted by the world. Of
the billions that lived before the flood, only eight souls were
saved. During the time when civilization was budding around the
world and there were many great thinkers and many kings and princes
to choose from, Yahweh chose an obscure man who lived in Ur of the
Chaldees and He consecrated him and promised to make Abram a great
nation, numbering such as the sands of the seashore or the stars of
the sky. It was an obscure little group of people, numbering seventy
in all that went to Egypt. Yahweh blessed them and when they left
Egypt four hundred years later they numbered well over a million
people. When Judah and Israel were teeming with prophets that
brought false messages, it was just one or two humble and for the
most part unknown men who were used by Yahweh to bring His message
to the people. It wasn't a king or a prince through whom Yahweh
brought forth His Son to the earth. Instead, it was a humble
carpenter and his wife whom Yahweh trusted with the job. And it
wasn't generals and armies that Yahweh used to bring the New
Covenant to the world. No, it was twelve men in whose ranks were a
tax collector and several fishermen whom Yahweh endowed with the
Ruach Ha Kodesh that would change the world and bring countless
millions into the Kingdom of Elohim.
So where the Tribes of Israel in
the present day are concerned, it is no surprise that Yahweh has
chosen some from each tribe to constitute His kingdom here on Earth.
There is no doubt that that in today's world there could be
literally billions who are of the seed of Israel. In just about
every conceivable corner of the globe the blood of Israel courses
through veins of ordinary people like you and me. There is little
doubt in my mind that of all of the immigrants that came to Canada
and the United States from 1620 until the 1970's, especially from
Europe, North Africa and parts of the Middle East, a vast majority
of them could be part of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, not to
mention the over six million in the USA alone who descend from
Judah, Benjamin and Levi and are called Jewish.
My contention is that of all of
those people, just a minority have taken Yahweh seriously. Just a
fraction have decided to call Yahweh their Lord. A remnant of all of
the House of Israel have asked the Mashiach, Yeshua Ben Elohim into
their hearts to change them and to make them a new creature. The
Book of Revelation talks about a specific group of people, numbering
one hundred forty four thousand who have been called by Yahweh to
perform a special ministry during the last days. It is quite
possible that some of you or even me are in that number. Our
forefathers all came to Canada and The USA for a reason, almost as
if they were called here for a specific reason. Perhaps there is a
reason that some of these ancestors had miserable lives in Europe or
the other lands in which they came from. Perhaps it was Yahweh's
plan for their lives to be of poor quality so that they would seek
out a land where they could be free to worship and study the Bible
without hindrance from governments and apostate church
organizations.
There might be some of you who know
that you have been called to this special last days ministry. Maybe
you've known it for a long time or maybe you've just had it revealed
to you through the Ruach Ha Kodesh recently. Perhaps you've felt a
special calling in your life and it hasn't been revealed to you yet
what that calling might be. Perhaps it is time that we all start to
seek Yahweh about this very thing. We know that we are rapidly
racing toward the time in history that is foretold in Revelation. It
would probably be a good idea then to seek out Yahweh about this and
if you are one of them then perhaps we should all get together to
fast and pray and to seek His will.
I know that this article might may
have seemed a bit bizarre to you. Let's face it, we have all been
approached by people like those in the Jehovah's Witnesses who
arrogantly pronounce that they are the witnesses mentioned in
Revelation but they fail to face some important flaws in their
theology. First, their ranks have been around for at least two
generations, maybe more and many of those who originally claimed to
be the Revelation witnesses have died and went to their reward, or
penalty as the case may be. That being the case, it makes Yahweh out
to be an uninformed liar because He didn't know when to pick the
witnesses and that they would die off without fulfilling their
election. Second, none of them can claim to be from a specific tribe
and as far as I have read in their literature, there is no divine
revelation as to who belongs to what tribe. Third, they deny the
divinity of Yeshua and the ministry of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. With
these denials comes an impotency because if you deny the authority
and the power behind the authority then what do you have? You have
the flesh and we all know where operating in the flesh gets a
person. It's like landing on the Jail square in the game of
Monopoly.."go to jail, go directly to jail, do not pass 'go' and do
not collect two hundred dollars."
While many of the true 144k
probably do not know their heritage right now, I have no doubt that
Yahweh will bring that information to them in due time and even if
He doesn't bring that knowledge to them, they will still have the
certification of the Ruach Ha Kodesh on them so that they will know
that they are one of the 144k.
It will be interesting to see how
things play out, but will be even more interesting will be to see
how any of us will play out in this end-time scenario. The important
thing is to remember that Yahweh always looks at the heart of those
whom He is going to use. Humbleness and contriteness decorate the
vessel that He can use for His purposes. So, we keep in prayer that
Yahweh will keep each and every one of us humble and contrite and
that we will every day act out in circumspection and in a want to
become ever more closer to Him. I don't think that any true believer
in Yeshua will ever say that they have had their fill of Him, but
just as dry soil never seems to get its fill, so I pray our walks
with him ever so shall be. Blessings to you in the wondrous and holy
name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, the Aveinu who loved us enough to send
us His Son!!
For anyone who is interested in
additional studies of this subject I strongly encourage you to read
the article that Jim Wilhelmsen from Echoes of Enoch has written
about it. Jim is my friend and a fellow counselor at the AACCOA
(Alien Abduction Crisis Centers of America). Interestingly enough,
Jim and I have arrived at the same conclusions without collusion and
by citing different scriptures. Isn't it amazing how the Ruach Ha
Kodesh can orchestrate events so wonderfully!! His article can be
reached by clicking on the following link:

I'd also strongly encourage you to read the rest of his
website which you will find quite informative and where you will
learn a lot...I mean a real lot!!
