There is actually a lot more to the title of this book, but I didn't want to take up all the room of this review to post it. I was introduced to this book by, believe it or not, the owner of a Bible Book Store. I was amazed at that because Bible book stores are in business to sell Bibles of all sizes, shapes and versions. This book store owner is a strong advocate for the King James Version of the Bible; also known as the Authorized Version.

Forgive me for being blunt, but if, after reading this book, you don't take all of your modern versions of the Bible and burn them in a big bonfire, I'd really be surprised. It's quite evident that the G.A. Riplinger has done the research to prove the point. Here's what the back cover says about the book. After reading this work, I can attest that what is written is true:

"This book is the result of an exhaustive six year collation of new bible versions, their underlying Greek manuscripts, editions, and editors. It objectively and methodically documents the hidden alliance between new versions and the New Age Movement's One World Religion."

The Message: The emerging 'new' Christianity - with its substitution of riches for righteousness, a crown for a cross, and an imitation for a new creation - is shown to be a direct result of the wording in new versions.

Documented are the thousands of words, verses, and doctrines by which new versions will prepare the apostate churches of these last days to accept the religion of the Antichrist - even his mark, image, and Lucifer worship.

The Manuscripts: The Greek manuscripts, critical editions, lexicons and dictionaries behind the new versions are examined, revealing their occult origins, contents, and yet unreleased material - a blueprint for the Antichrist's One World Religion and government.

Presented it the latest research proving the Authorized King James Version represents not only Christianities earliest and most widely used Greek text, but is the easiest version to read according to computer analysis based formulas from the Flesch-Kincaid research firm.

The Men: Each page opens a door exposing the new version editors - in agreement with Luciferians, occultists, and New Age philosophy - in mental institutions, séance parlors, prison cells and court rooms for heresy trials - and most shocking of all - denying that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ. Five have lost their ability to speak."

About the author: G.A. Riplinger has a B.A., M.A., and M.F.A. degrees and has done additional postgraduate study at Harvard and Cornell Universities. As a university professor, the author taught seventeen different courses, authored six college textbooks and was selected for the Honor Society's teaching award and membership in a national Educational Honorary. As one of fifty educators worldwide selected to be in an International edition of Who's Who, the author was invited by the President's Citizen Ambassador Program to be a representative to Russia. (Ps. 62:9, Luke 16:15, 1 Cor. 2:5)"

Aside from its content, what attracted me to this book was the use of what must be hundreds of tables. The author uses a side by side comparison method of showing the differences between the texts. After the graph, the author the explains the graphs and the differences in text. There is now way that a person can walk away from this book not understanding the message that it is most capable of conveying. The only way that I can see a person not understanding this book is if they went into the book with a bias toward the new version, thus causing a willful ignorance.

MY RECOMMENDATION:

Read this book. Your very understanding of God's word, and ultimately God Himself depends on the correct and accurate presentation of His word. When you finish this book, and if you are honest with yourself and your walk with God, you will most probably nix all of the newer versions that you have sitting on your shelves. That's all I have to say about that.

You might have a hard time finding this book at normal Christian Book Store, simply because it would ruin their "New Age Bible" sales. I suggest getting it from Chick Publishing at www.chick.com . I've seen it on Amazon.com too.
