LUCIFER William and Sharon Schnoebelen
Let me give you a little background before I talk about this book. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Schnoebelen in Roswell, New Mexico; during the Ancient of Days 2005 Conference, July of this year. I found his talk fantastic; relating to the audience like he'd known them all of his life. I saw the love of the Lord all over this man and had to know more about him and his ministry. So, at the table outside the conference, i bought two of his books, this being the first one. I got to know Bill a little better on the three hour drive from Roswell to the airport in Albuquerque, which is where we were all going home from. There is a difference between those who know things because they have book knowledge and those who have lived the experiences and acquired the knowledge directly from life's school. Bill is in the second category, having lived many aspects of the occult life but having been delivered gloriously by the hand of our loving Lord Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ). But you know what? I didn't get to know Bill well enough during our three hour drive. So, it was such a blessing to read "Lucifer Dethroned." Reading the book I got to know Bill better. You see, I needed to know about his life because I next wanted to read his book on spiritual warfare. I wanted to read about his life's experiences, which are his credentials. And, it was by reading "Lucifer Dethroned," that I was able to glean insight to Bills credibility. By reading this book I felt like I knew him even more personally and could trust what was in his next book. "Lucifer Dethroned" is a fantastic work. It is Bill's and somewhat Sharon's biography and when you read this book you will be amazed at how God preserved both Bill and Sharon through some of the most evil of lifestyles. Bill goes into detail about their lives as witches, Satanists, voodoo priests, vampires, Catholic priests and even Mormons. Bill and Sharon explain not only about their lifestyles, but they go into the specifics of what the different sects believe and how they work. Aside from being a biography, I saw it as a wonderful prequel to the next book, "Blood on The Doorposts - An Advanced Guide To Spiritual Warfare." When you buy both books, read this one first and the second one will be much easier to understand. MY RECOMMENDATION: Simply put, you just have to get and read this book. My advice; start it on a Friday night because you'll not want to put it down. I found myself getting mad that I had to put it down to go to work. If I would have had the sick time I would have called in sick to read it all the way through. I can't emphasize how important this book is if you want to understand those who practice the occult and want to help to free them.
