THE YOUNG EARTH John D. Morris Ph.D
If you read the review of "The Genesis Flood" you will remember that I said that the it was sort of a deep book and might be hard to understand. For those who are looking for an easier to read book I recommend "The Young Earth," by John D. Morris. "The Young Earth," has a lot of graphics in the way of pictures and drawings. The author of the book was nice enough to include some of the drawings at the end of the book, in full page format for copying and using in any presentations that you might make to others. I especially liked the illustration of the altar of Darwin which pretty well sums up what Evolution is all about. "The Young Earth" presents some very convincing evidence about the earth being a recent creation by an Almighty God. I mean, you really can't argue with the a picture that shows a polystrate tree growing through many layers of sediment. Either the tree lived for hundreds of millions of years or it was buried alive in many layers of sediment that were laid down during the catastrophic flood of Noah's time. Many such things are presented in this book. Things such as this are really important these days, especially when so many compromising Christian (so called) experts are trying to twist scripture to suit their unbelief that the earth could be created in six literal days. This book is in a larger format, the book size being 8 1/2 by 11 inches in size which makes for easy reading and easy copying. This also makes it thinner and allows the larger illustrations to be possible. MY RECOMMENDATION: "The Young Earth" is great reading and presents a lot of truths in an easy to read format. I endorse this book with enthuseasm and classify it as a must read for those interested in a simple approach of presenting Biblical Creationism. You can find it many places including the Institute for Creation Research, located at www.icr.org ; Answers in Genesis, at www.answersingenesis.org ; Amazon and also at Christian Book, located at www.christianbook.com . Happy reading. |
