I remember the day that Keith Green and two of his children were killed in the plane crash. I was 8 years old....my mother had heard the news from a Church friend. She was so upset, I understand why now. His music had a huge impact on her, when I was 16 my mother was killed in a tragic accident. 08-25-03 was the 13th anniversary and I have been called back into Gods grace through my mothers death and Keith's music. I remember back in the late 70s I got the album no compromise. If you look at that album cover it is very very powerful. Keith was a man of god. His songs sometimes slap reality into to especially "Asleep in the Light." I cry every time I hear that song because it hits so hard to home. You know Keith was not afraid to reality check his audience and didn't waver from his message. God Bless you Keith you have always reminded me what the truth is. And even though my walk with God is not always true. All I need to do is listen to My Eyes are Dry, or Soften Your Heart. Keith is alive in every single one of us through his God inspired music. Hi! Ever since I was a little kid my Dad had been playing Keith Greens music. I am now almost 16 and listen to his music almost every day. Keith Greens music really helped me to grow as a Christian and live a holy and separate life, that and my pastors and parents. I have all the books on and by Keith and am in the middle of one right now. Keith's life has been a major influence in my life. Without the Lord we can do nothing, and Keith Greens life showed that. I seen Keith in concert at the Solon Township Fairgrounds in Central Michigan way back in 80. When more than 20,000 fans started rising to give him a standing ovation, he stopped the concert and warned everyone that unless their praise was to Jesus Christ alone- he would walk of the stage cuz he didn't want to have men praising him and his gifts. I wish there were more CCM artist like that today! Thank you for remembering his contributions to the Kingdom of God. Creemos 09/10/03

I'm Now 32 Years Old. As A Child Age 9 Years Old I Listened To Keith Every Day For Quite Some Time.. And I Got a lot Out Of His Music.. I Have 5 Children And Had A Sixth Hunter Paul Who Dies And All I Could Think Of Is A Song By Keith Talking About Who Am I To Complain.. It Got Me Through The Hard Times With The Loss Of My Son.. Hey Dave, letting you know I love the website. nice job! I grew up on Keith green and have always admired his love for Jesus. I cried when he died... I was 5. later when I was in high school I went on a missions trip with youth with a mission (who Keith was very active with) in Tyler, TX. On that trip I had the opportunity to visit Keith's grave. I cried again. I'm really not a crier...seriously I'm not. the one thing that Keith's music has taught me is how to truly worship god and how to appreciate the fact that I am his child. thank you Keith. we miss you! Aside from my name, I used to be a huge fan of Keith Green. My pastor played his music at times during worship and I can still remember some lyrics to this day. Im not sure why I stopped coming to the lord, but its very hard to find my way back. Thank you very much for posting the Keith Green lyrics. I grew up listening to Keith Green as one of my moms friends gave me one of his CDs. This was at at time when I listened to Rap and Rock and yet somehow, even though I didn't like it the first few times I listened to it, I kept listening. Needless to say, I don't listen to that other silly stuff I did when I was kid, but I still listen to Keith Greens music. More importantly, I sing it when worshipping. Very powerful. As for delusion resistance, I would respectfully point out that we should "resist not evil". The only weapon we have is the Truth of our Lives in God. Everything else is a waste of time. When we stand in the Truth, letting his light dispel our delusions, it is no longer we who live, but the Truth (Christ) who lives in us. Blessings. Ron 11/08/03
