| I have just started listening to Keith. I have heard very few sing with such intense passion. Truly, his songs are a blessing, an encouragement in time of need. His songs are straight from the heart without any religious hypocrisy. I was overwhelmed with emotions when I read his testimony. I wish I had the discipline and faith that Keith had. | Keith Green's music is some of the realest stuff I've ever heard. It's very impacting on my life every time I hear one of his songs. as a young child being raised by Christian parents - thank God - they used play his music and even at a young age I could feel how the anointing was on Keith before I even knew what the anointing was. Still to this day when I hear his lyrics, I stop everything I'm doing as much as possible so I can be ministered to and blessed by what he has sung to us for God. Samuel 02/13/04 |
| Saya mengenal lagu-lagu Keith Green sekitar 10 tahun yang lalu, ketika tak sengaja mendapatkannya disebuah pasar loak. Waktu itu saya mendapat 2 kaset bekas: So You Wanna Back to Egypt dan The Lords Sherped. Tetapi setelah mendengar lagu2 itu, jiwa saya disentuh bahkan secara luar biasa spiritualitas saya dibangun. Saya bahkan coba menterjemahkan lagu until that final day ke bahasa indonesia dan menyanyikannya bersama pemuda gereja dan banyak orang mendapat berkat dari lagu ini. Juga lagu the lord is my sherped. Waktu itu saya punya seorang teman yang permainan gitarnya sangat klasik, pak Boyke Komul, yang amat mendukung. Pengalaman 10 tahun lalu yang sampai saat ini masih berkesan, dan sampai saat ini, ketika mendengar lagu2 Keith Green jiwa saya masih disentuh amat dalam ! Saya terus menerus mencari kaset Keith Green setaip kali pergi ke toko kaset rohani, dan beruntung sekitar 3 tahun lalu menemukan (tinggal satu copy !) album ministry years volume 1. Kemudian saya aktif mencari lirik lagunya lewat internet. Any way, terima kasih atas talenta yang luar biasa, yang dibagikan kepada kami lewat inspirasi seorang Keith Green. | Hey, I just randomly found this site and I do think it is really good... and to Victor Mayo... I don't know if Keith Green was mentioned on the page somewhere but he most certainly was an awesome person! I'm only 17 and I listen to his music every now and then. | Its so nice to find so many people who know Keith Green and love his ministry! It has shocked me at times to be in different Christian groups and no one has even heard of him! He has touched my life for 26 years.....since I was a struggling 17 year old trying to find meaning to my life. His songs are still relevant in today's world as much as in the 70s. His passion for the lost souls, his honesty in the trials and dry times of life, and his obvious love and desire to serve God still pours out of his music.
