LEGEND: Normal Text, Biblical Text, Extra-Biblical Text, Secular Text

THE PREMISE:

In this series of articles we have been looking at one scripture and we've then been examining what the ramifications of the words of Yeshua are concerning His warning. The scripture we have been looking is as follows:

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. Luke 17:26

So far, we've seen in our study, that the days of Noah (Noe) had many parallels to our modern time in history. We saw that some rebellious angels left their heavenly estate and cohabitated with human woman and that the result of that union was what was known as the Nephilim. We also examined some extra-biblical texts; namely the book of Enoch, Jubilees and the Genesis Apocryphon and saw that they confirm the history where the angels are concerned as well as their offspring, the Nephilim. We also looked at the modern day Nephilim in the manner of them residing in genetically produced shells that some refer to as aliens or extraterrestrials.

We've also looked at what appears to be scripture as well as references from Jubilees and Jasher that show that the angels taught, among other things, the practice of gene manipulation to mankind. We now have a clear understanding of where the ancients got their many strange gods, such as the unicorn, the minotaur, the centaur and other oddities. They were stories passed down from the antediluvian period. We then saw how genetic manipulation is nothing but that practice revived in our modern day.

Thirdly, we looked at scripture and became aware that homosexuality and same-sex marriage really aren't anything new, but were quite the norm before Noah's flood that destroyed the world.

Fourth, we looked at birth control, and how it existed in the antediluvian world and is being repeated in our modern society.

Fifth, we looked at the climate of earth before the flood, and how our modern climate might become similar to that time.

And now we will look at drug abuse on antediluvian earth, and how it was used for magical purposes. We will examine how modern times parallel the former things. Just as it says in Ecclesiastes; "There is nothing new under the sun."

Now let's look at Antediluvian and modern psychadelic drug abuse and shamanism:

What Do The Ancient Texts Tell Us?

As we've mentioned before, the Biblical texts are pretty vague about the antediluvian world. There are hints here and there about conditions, but nothing quite clear; no history is really mentioned. There are some people, including myself who would like to know more about the times in which these things happened. There are some well known books that talk a little about the history of these times, as that history has been passed down by tradition and in writings. A couple of these books are the writings of Josephus and also that of Philo; both historians of a high caliber. These two writers are accepted by both Jews and Christians alike and they are referred to in many works.

Another book that receives less recognition is the book of Enoch. It was revered by the Jewish community, from about 400 BCE till about 400 CE, as being a historical book. When it was omitted from canon by the Council of Nicea, its support waned and gradually its popularity fell by the wayside. The Book of Judah, found in the Brit Hadasha, chapter 1, verses 6-7, refers to Enoch. Judah account about the fallen angels of Genesis and how they are punished. Chapter 1:14-15 gives a direct quote from the book of Enoch. So if Judah, the brother of Yeshua thought Enoch worthy enough to quote from, perhaps we should see it worthy of some attention. Helping the Book of Enoch's cause is the fact that it has been found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. So in this author's opinion, I see it as worthwhile for one to use some of the extrabiblical books to enforce scripture. Again, this should be done only if two things occur with the use of those books. The books and their content MUST bear witness with what is written in scripture, and they must bear witness to the Ruach Ha Kodesh, and His ministry in the Body of Christ. The Book of Enoch, the Book of Jared, the Book of Jubilees and the Testament of The Patriarchs all seem to follow that course. As far as I can tell, the others (non canonical books) are perversions of the truth, or at best just embellished stories.

Let's Look At Drugs:

It's an unfortunate and sad fact that drug use is interwoven throughout all aspects of our society. Drugs aren't just limited to the pharmacy realm of things, but are found everywhere. Many people have to have a cup of coffee in the morning so that they can function. In turn, many people drink a glass of wine at night to take the edge off of the day so that they can fall asleep easier. Some take analgesics daily for life's little aches and pains while others take fiber laden preparations to help their body to digest food and to make the elimination of waste products a bit easier. Some people take drugs to counteract the effects of the other drugs that they are taking. Yes, drugs play a major roll in our individual lives and in society as a whole. That in itself is a bit of a problem, but it is just an omen, so to speak, of the real problem, illicit drug use.

Drugs in the United States fall into three categories. The first category is called the "controlled substance" category. The categories range from one to five; the lower the number, the greater potential for abuse and addiction. Schedule I drugs are the illegal drugs; things like heroin, LSD, many forms of cocaine, marijuana and others. Schedule II drugs are still highly addictive, but proved to be less addictive than the first schedule; drugs like morphine, methadone, Demerol and others. Schedule III drugs have less abuse potential; things like hydrocodone/apap, codeine and others. Schedule IV drugs are less addictive and Schedule V drugs aren't very worrisome. The second category of drugs are the maintenance drugs; things which require a prescription and are used for acute conditions and long term treatment of chronic ailments. This category includes heart medications, antibiotics and anything else that improve the quality of life or maintain it. The third category of drugs are called OTC, or Over The Counter drugs; things that can be purchased by the public without a prescription.

Medications haven't always been controlled by the government. This is evidenced by drug abuse in the late 19th century and the early 20th century. Opium dens were popular in many parts of of the U.S. until they were made illegal. Morphine made many people into addicts until it was put under restrictions. Cocaine was an ingredient of Coca Cola for the first few years it was produced. But as doctors and law makers saw how these agents effected our society they moved quickly to restrict them to prescribed use only. Our forefathers knew that drug abuse was slavery to the drug, that it was akin to idol worship and that those who are addicted will commit crimes when they're not able to afford their addiction.

Are Drugs Really Innocuous?

The answer to that question is pretty easy to state. I can say that because there were many of us who experimented with illicit drugs many years ago when we were young. Some of us learned the hard way about drugs. Some of us died way too young as a result of car wrecks, overdoses or violence brought about by the use of drugs. Some of us (praise Yahweh) finally realized, either through bad experiences, or hearing the voice of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, that we were ruining our lives and we stopped taking drugs. A scant few still have not figured it out and are stuck in a culture that only leads to destruction or death if Yahweh doesn't intervene.

But the interesting thing that must be looked at is the meaning of the word "Pharmacy." But before we look at that word, let me preface my saying that there are a lot of things in this world that can be used moderately, and in that instance, those things can be useful. On the flip side of the coin, those same things, if taken to excess, or taken out of their originally intended purpose, can be malevolent to a person. With that said, let's look at the word "pharmacy;" its meanings and their implications:

pharmakeia - Strongs G5331

1) the use or the administering of drugs

2) poisoning

3) sorcery, magical arts, often found in connection with idolatry and fostered by it

4) metaph. the deceptions and seductions of idolatry

In the Brit Hadasha (New Covenant) the word translates out to be sorcery and witchcraft. In the Greek language, it also meant "drug administration," or "poisoning." So the word has four meanings, but only one is used in the Brit Hadasha. I want to point out that the word has four meanings simply because it is sometimes misconstrued that since the word could mean sorcery or witchcraft,  that is not always the meaning to the word. So, if you go to a pharmacy to pick up something that the doctor has ordered for you, keep in mind that the pharmacist probably is not a witch or a sorcerer. Many pharmacists are God fearing people and they love Yeshua Ha Mashiach. A simple way to remember it is this: if you're taking legal drugs legally, then you're involved in definition number one. However, if you're taking illicit drugs then you're probably practicing sorcery; and if you can't live without the drug, then it's probably an idol in your life.

A good definition of the malevolent form of pharmakeia was found on a Baptist website that talks about the last days:

The Bible clearly declares that the occultism of the last days will be related to the use of drugs. "Pharmakeia" is a Greek word which means "enchantment with drugs". It is translated as witchcraft in Gal. 5:20 and as sorceries in Rev. 9:21 and 18:23. A slightly different form of the word is translated sorcerers in Rev. 21:8 and 22:15. These scriptures in the prophetical portion of Revelation definitely show that this will be widespread in the last days. "Pharmakeia" is the root word from which we derive our word pharmacy. This should be warning enough, to cause everyone to avoid the use of illicit drugs.  Source: [http://www.tbaptist.com/aab/theoccult.htm]

Building upon the text from our Baptist brothers, I think that it is important to look at the definition of the word enchantment. The word "enchant" is used in our contemporary society in a variety of situational aspects; many times to describe captivation by the opposite sex. A word study however shows that while the contemporary use of the word does have some truth, the true meaning of the word holds more sinister aspects:

Main Entry: en·chant
Pronunciation:
in-'chant, en-
Function: transitive verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French enchanter, from Latin incantare, from in- + cantare to sing.
1 : to influence by or as if by charms and incantation : BEWITCH

And if we want to be clear concerning the meaning of incantation:

Main Entry: in·can·ta·tion
Pronunciation:
"in-"kan-'tA-sh&n
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English incantacioun, from Middle French incantation, from Late Latin incantation-, incantatio, from Latin incantare to enchant
: a use of spells or verbal charms spoken or sung as a part of a ritual of magic; also : a written or recited formula of words designed to produce a particular effect

And we also have to know what "charms" means:

Main Entry: 1charm
Pronunciation:
'chärm
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English charme, from Anglo-French, from Latin carmen song, from canere to sing
1 a : the chanting or reciting of a magic spell : INCANTATION b : a practice or expression believed to have magic power
2 : something worn about the person to ward off evil or ensure good fortune : AMULET

Now we can put it all together. If "pharmakeia" is associated with sorcery and witchcraft; and if its meaning is "enchantment with drugs," then what can we make of this? If the meaning of enchant is to influence by incantation or charms, it means that the person taking the drugs is trying to influence something or someone. We really can't associate the taking of drugs with any verbal charm or incantation, can we? Well, no, not a verbal enchantment; but the act of taking the drug is an invitation; a sort of nonverbal way of saying, "I relinquish my control of my faculties to anyone who wants to take control of them." Many things can be said without words actually coming out of a person's mouth. If I was a police officer, standing in the middle of an intersection I could say a lot without talking. I could make one motion and the cars can start moving or I could make another motion and the cars would all stop and so on. If I was a signalman on a naval ship I could say all kinds of things without talking. I could move hand flags around in such a way that the person trained to read it could interpret my signals. I could flash the signal lights to another ship and communicate quite effectively. In the same way, snorting a line of coke, or sticking a needle in a vein or putting a dot of LSD under the tongue sends a signal to forces unseen that the user want to escape from reality. I think the point is proven.

Hallucinogenic And The Spiritual Realm:

It's no secret that there are many different types of hallucinogenic drugs available today. Things like psilocybin mushrooms,  peyote (mescaline) cactus and a variety of other plants grow out in the wild and have been used for millennia by shaman's, witchdoctors and other tribal spiritualists to see into the spiritual world and in an attempt to get advice and guidance from beings in that realm. What immediately follows is a short description of hallucinogenic drugs as they are used by primitive cultures around the world:

WHAT ARE HALLUCINOGENIC PLANTS?

In his search for food, early man tried all kinds of plants. Some nourished him, some, he found, cured his ills, and some killed him. A few, to his surprise, had strange effects on his mind and body, seeming to carry him into other worlds. We call these plants hallucinogens, because they distort the senses and usually produce hallucinations - experiences that depart from reality. Although most hallucinations are visual, they may also involve the senses of hearing, touch, smell, or taste - and occasionally several senses simultaneously are involved.

The actual causes of such hallucinations are chemical substances in the plants. These substances are true narcotics. Contrary to popular opinion, not all narcotics are dangerous and addictive. Strictly and etymologicolly speaking, a narcotic is any substance that has a depressive effect, whether slight or great, on the central nervous system.

Narcotics that induce hallucinations are variously called hallucinogens (hallucination generators), psychotomimetics (psychosis mimickers), psychotaraxics (mind disturbers), and psychedelics (mind manifesters). No one term fully satisfies scientists, but hallucinogens comes closest. Psychedelic is most widely used in the United States, but it combines two Greek roots incorrectly, is biologically unsound, and has acquired popular meanings beyond the drugs or their effects.

In the history of mankind, hallucinogens have probably been the most important of all the narcotics. Their fantastic effects made them sacred to primitive man and may even have been responsible for suggesting to him the idea of deity.

HALLUCINOGENS IN PRIMITIVE SOCIETIES

Makuna Indian medicine man under influence of caapi (ayahuasca or yaje) prepared from bark of Banisteriopis caapi.

Hallucinogens permeate nearly every aspect of life in primitive societies. They play roles in health and sickness, peace and war, home life and travel, hunting and agriculture; they affect relations among individuals, villages, and tribes. They are believed to influence life before birth and after death.

MEDICAL AND RELIGIOUS USES of hallucinogenic plants are particulaly important in primitive societies. Aboriginal people attribute sickness and health to the working of spirit forces. Consequently, any "medicine" that can transport man to the spirit world is considered by many aborigines to be better than one with purely physical effects.

Psychic powers have also been attributed to hallucinogens and have become an integral part of primitive religions. All over the world hallucinogenic plants are used as mediators between man and his gods. The prophecies of the oracle of Delphi, for example, are thought to have been induced through hallucinogens.

OTHER ABORIGINAL USES of hallucinogens vary from one primitive culture to another. Many hallucinogenic plants are basic to the initiation rituals of adolescents. The Algonquin Indians gave an intoxicating medicine, wysoccan, to their young men, who then became violently deranged for 20 days. During this period, they lost all memory, starting manhood by forgetting they had been boys. The iboga root in Gabon and caapi in the Amazon are also used in such rituals.

In South America, many tribes take ayahuasca to foresee the future, settle disputes, decipher enemy plans, cast or remove spells, or insure the fidelity of their women. Sensations of death and separation of body and soul are sometimes experienced during a dreamlike trance.

The hallucinogenic properties of Datura have been thoroughly exploited, particularly in the New World. In Mexico and in the Southwest, Datura is used in divination, prophecy, and ritualistic curing.

Modern Mexican Indians value certain mushrooms as sacraments and use morning glories and the peyote cactus to predict the future, diagnose and cure disease, and placate good and evil spirits.

The Mixtecs of Mexico eat puffballs to hear voices from heaven that answer their questions. The Waikás of Brazil and Venezuela snuff the powdered resin of a jungle tree to ritualize death, induce a trance for diagnosing disease, and thank the spirits for victory in war. The Witotos of Colombia eat the same powerful resin to "talk with the little people." Peruvian medicine men drink cimora to make themselves owners of another's identity. Indians of eastern Brazil drink jurema to have glorious visions of the spirit world before going into battle with their enemies.

Hallucinogens - "There is nothing new under the sun"

I can remember the 1970's quite clearly; that in itself being a miracle seeing that I wasn't very lucid during that time, nor was I inclined toward Yahweh. It was pretty easy to get any drug that you wanted, including LSD and mescaline. We were well acquainted with Timothy Leery's phrase; "Turn on, Tune in, Drop Out." We thought we were the enlightened ones; a generation that was really getting back to nature and ultimately the gods of nature. Had we done some study we would have realized that what we were doing had been practiced for years, centuries and millennia; a practice as old as time itself.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9

We were rebelling against our parents, our society and against Yahweh; but we were only hurting ourselves, separating ourselves from the maker of the universe. I think that what we were doing is we were showing Yahweh that we were tired of not seeing him, tired of not having our shallow prayers answered, and tired of waiting for Yeshua's return. We found that by taking hallucinogenic drugs, we could enter the spiritual world and demand an audience with Yahweh; but the entities that many of my contemporaries found were not Yahweh; but his adversaries, his sworn enemies who posed as wise ones, as enlightened beings, but were really liars, frauds and malcontents.

These so called malcontents; those who rebelled against Yahweh at the beginning have thought of many ways to deceive mankind. We've touched on many of those ways in other articles. Remember, that Yeshua himself said that:

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. Luke 17:26

So it doesn't take someone educated in rocket science to figure out that what He was saying is that when His return is imminent, society will be just like it was in the days of Noah. Well, in one of our articles we looked at how men used to make a drink that they made their women drink so that they would remain barren and retain their figures. That was a definite abuse of a drug. But there were those who used hallucinogenics before the flood, and it was taught to them by the fallen angels. Let's take a look at the proof as seen in the Book of Enoch:

1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms
2and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants.
Enoch 7:1-2

And also:

1 And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all
2 colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they
3 were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .
Enoch 8:1-3

So what the first passage is saying is that the angels taught their wives (and probably other women) chanting magical spells, and how to influence others by chanting magical spells, and they taught them how cut roots and how to use plants. We understand well enough about casting spells and most of us know that there are those who in contemporary times use spells in an attempt to influence others. Today that is known as witchcraft, or if you're really in the know, you call it wicca.

But one has to ask something about that passage. Why would the angels have to teach antediluvian society about plants? I mean after all, although there was probably a highly technological society before the flood, their society was based on agriculture. Adam, the father of us all, was a gardener, and later a farmer. I'm sure that he knew everything that there was to know about plants and all of their wonderful uses. His son Cain tilled the ground and when he was sent away and dwelt in the land of Nod he brought his knowledge with him and I'm sure that he taught his children the art of farming. Adam and his descendents which are listed in the Bible lived well into the antediluvian period, so the knowledge was not lost due to the death of a key holder of that knowledge. So, why would the angels come down and teach the daughters of men all of these things? Well bear in mind, that it says that they taught the daughters, not the sons. The sons of men were already farmers and knew all about the land. It has to mean that the women were taught special use of plants; uses that were out of the ordinary.

We then skip on down to Enoch, the 8th chapter and see that the angels weren't happy with teaching women about enchantments and extraordinary use of plants; they taught the men also. The text says that only did the angels teach the men about enchantments, but they taught men how to "resolve" enchantments. The word "resolve is very interesting. A quick search of the Webster's On-Line Dictionary yielded the follow result:

Main Entry: re·solve
Pronunciation:
ri-'zälv, -'zolv also -'zäv or -'zov
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): re·solved; re·solv·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin resolvere to unloose, dissolve, from re- + solvere to loosen, release -- more at SOLVE
transitive verb
1 obsolete : DISSOLVE, MELT
2 a : BREAK UP, SEPARATE <the prism resolved the light into a play of color>; also : to change by disintegration b : to reduce by analysis <resolve the problem into simple elements> c : to distinguish between or make independently visible adjacent parts of d : to separate (a racemic compound or mixture) into the two components
3 : to cause resolution of (a pathological state)
4 a : to deal with successfully : clear up <resolve doubts> <resolve a dispute> b : to find an answer to c : to make clear or understandable d : to find a mathematical solution of e : to split up (as a vector) into two or more components especially in assigned directions

The definition of this word presents us with two possible scenario's for the passage in Enoch, Chapter Eight. If we were to use the obsolete definition of "resolve" we could assume that while the first angel taught men how to cast spells, the second angel taught them how to dispel the enchantments. in modern terms, it could be explained as one witch casting a spell on a person, and that person going to another witch and having them cast a spell that negates the first spell. This sort of thing is becoming more and more plain as our society spirals down from rationalism into the black hole of superstition.

The second definition is possible too, and could coexist with the first one. In this scenario, each incantation would be broken down into its constituent properties, analyzed and then refined. Many people, including myself, do this when doing Greek and Hebrew word studies of the Bible. We see a scripture that isn't clear and we study each word. If a word is not clear, we study it and find that it has maybe three or more related meanings. We take the three meanings and compare them with the scriptures before our study scripture and the scriptures behind it. The word that best works in context with the rest of the scripture is the one we tend to adhere to.

Where a spell is concerned, the person involved in the occult can take maybe five spells and tailor make a spell that would work for their purpose. They would break down each spell and resolve it, meaning that they would break them down into parts and pieces. Then, just like taking ingredients from a spice rack during cooking, they would take what they wanted to make a designer spell. A good analogy that we men can understand is one of a wrecking yard for cars. Now, I can go there and get the chasse of a Toyota truck, and a Chevy 350 engine for its power plant and then a racing transmission from another car and a high speed rear end for the back wheels. The result would be a hybrid truck that I would probably wrap around some telephone pole later that afternoon. Just kidding folks. You get the idea; all of those cars were broken down (resolved) into their basic constituents and I designed what I wanted from those parts. Well, maybe you folks living outside of California can understand anyway. They don't let us tweak cars here anymore.

I have to admit that I was sort of puzzled about the root cuttings which are mentioned in both passages. If you do a search of the internet and look for root cuttings you'll come to all sorts of agricultural sites that talk about propagation of plants using the cuttings of roots from a parent plant. That seems fairly innocuous, doesn't it? And again, why would the angels have to teach farmers about propagation by root cuttings, something that some antediluvian farmer would have figured out anyway, or that perhaps Adam would have known already. He was not born some ignorant country bumpkin, but with great knowledge and highly intelligent. What is going on here???

For an adequate answer we have to use the skill of word study that we looked at just above. We have to take a word and place it in context with the surrounding words. In both passages from Enoch, the words root cuttings are associated with enchantments, and in the first passage it is equated with charms too. So one has to come the conclusion that the cutting of roots in antediluvian society is something different than asexual propagation of plant life; it has to have some sort of occult significance. Interestingly enough, there is a psychedelic root, that  of the African Iboga plant, used by shaman's in West Africa.

Implications for the Western World?

Goodness, where do I begin in answering that question? It seems that every year the world leaves the realm or rationalism and wanders haphazardly into the world of the superstitious, or the occult supernatural. Society in general has been conditioned to believe in the supernatural through written media, television and Hollywood. Knowledge of the unseen world is not in itself a bad thing, but those who have written the secret agenda for this world have mentored the masses in the dark side of the supernatural, making evil seem like goodness, thus turning the Kingdom of God, Aveinu, Yeshua and the Ruach Ha Kodesh into some sort of evil entity in the eyes of an unsuspecting public. One of the many facets of the New Age realm is to get people acquainted with the gods of the New Age. These gods (spelled with a small 'g' on purpose) are nothing but the fallen angels of old, and their offspring, the spirits of the Nephilim, also known as demons. One way that the New Age advocates the introduction of mankind to these entities is by the use of hallucinogenic drugs. Remember, that the New Age believes that the old ways of the shaman and witch doctor are really the true ways to enlightenment. So, if those individuals are using natural hallucinogenic drugs to meet with these supposed "ascended masters," "spirit guides," or whatever name that they ascribe to these fallen angels and demons, then they will endorse them (the drugs) wholeheartedly.

It would probably not be a surprise to anyone that I pick up and read UFO Magazine when it hits the newsstands. In the May 2007 issue there was a very interesting article which I will pull excerpts from. I'm going to pull the information from the article for a reason that really clicks with this article about modern society mimicking the Days of Noah. The article is titled, "There's a Door in Your Head, Part II: Meetings with Ancient Teachers of Mankind." The authors are; Dr. Bob and Zohara Hieronimus. In the article they talk extensively about a book titled: "Supernatural Meetings with Ancient Teachers of Mankind," authored by Graham Hancock; (The Disinformation Company, 2006). The excerpts of the book that we will note deal with Mr. Hancock's ingestion of a compound called by DMT by researchers, but known to the indigenous people of the Amazon as "ayahuasca," he talks extensively about ingesting the compound and creatures that he sees during those times of altered states.

There is a sense of being plunged into a completely convincing parallel world. Initially you see swirling geometric patterns, very regularly repeated, and then you have a sense of breaking through into an absolute other reality where you meet beings. Sometimes these beings look like fairies or elves or grays as we call them today. Very often they are part animal/part human in form.

"For example, I saw a creature that had the head of a crocodile and the body of a human being. I saw a creature that was part jaguar and part human. Everybody in the world who drinks ayahuasca - and doesn't matter where they are - they can be in a western city or they can be in the heart of the Amazon, they are going to see serpents. And these serpents are not just like ordinary everyday serpents."

"They are often gigantic, absolutely huge, and they communicate with you. I know how nuts this sounds, but I am simply reporting the experience: that there is a sense of communication, of dealing with an intelligent entity, that has something to teach you. Fortunately, a lot of good scientific work has been done on this."

"Dr. Benny Shanon, who is the professor of psychiatry at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, has personally drunk ayahuasca more than 300 times himself. I have only drunk it 18 times so far. He has compared the experiences of hundreds and hundreds of people from all over the world who have drunk ayahuasca." "All of them meet these serpents, and, in fact, they meet a particular entity who takes the form of a serpent. She is thought of as the ayahuasca spirit. She projects deep concern with the state of the environment into the minds of those who drink ayahuasca, and a feeling of love and concern for humanity as a whole."

Fairies, Elves and ETs

It could be the discovery of psychoactive plants that enables these encounters with the "ancient teachers of mankind" that was the catalyst for the great leap forward in human evolution that took place about 35,000 years ago. The spirit entities that appear in the vision-induced cave art as well as in the ayahuasca visions very frequently appear in a form that is part animal and part human.

The technical term for such creatures is therianthropes, from the Greek therion, which means wild beast and anthropos which means man. Although this is the most common form in which spirits are encountered by shamans, less well known is the fact that it was an extremely common form in which fairies were encountered in the Middle Ages: part animal and part human.

"This brings us to the case of UFO abductees," explains Hancock. "Very often the being who later shape-shifts or transforms into a Gray first appears in animal form or in part animal/part human form." Another connection between the three different categories of beings: spirits, fairies and elves, and aliens is that all of them abduct human beings. "Everybody knows that this is a keynote of the alien-abduction experience, but again if we go back to the Middle Ages we find that that's what fairies and elves did all the time.

"They would abduct people, and when those people came back they had missing time. Spirits continuously abduct shamans, and very typically the shamans' first encounter with the spirit world takes the form of a forcible abduction."

"Third, interbreeding between these entities and humans is very commonly reported amongst the alien abductees. Again, this happened repeatedly with the beings that were called fairies and elves in the Middle Ages and that happens repeatedly with shamans and the spirit beings that they encounter. Many shamans I know believe that they have a lover in the spirit world and they even have hybrid children in the spirit world who are part human and part spirit. That experience is shared by UFO abductees today......

DMT = ET?

Also added into the mix is the work of psychiatrist Rick Strassman, MD, the first scientist in the United States for more than twenty years to be given permission by the federal government to work with human volunteers and hallucinogens. He gave DMT (dimethyltryptamine) to a large number of volunteers over a period of eight or nine years during the 1990's. When given by injection, DMT plunges you almost instantly into a deeply altered state of consciousness.

Typically the person who has taken DMT falls silent. They don't seem to be registering the everyday world very closely, and that's because their consciousness has gone on an extraordinary journey. "What was really amazing," continues Hancock, "was that Rick Strassman's volunteers all began to report encounters and teaching and experiences with beings and entities during their altered states of consciousness. These beings and entities were recognizably the same across the whole range of volunteers."

Strassmen theorized that the receiver wavelength of his volunteers' brains was being returned by DMT and they were gaining genuine access to other dimensions of reality and to the beings that inhabit those dimensions. "Because those dimensions are real," repeats Hancock, "although not normally accessible to us or our instruments."....

So, why did I include the text of the article in UFO Magazine?? I did it simply to show that people are currently taking hallucinogenic drugs to purposefully communicate with malevolent entities. The title of the article in UFO Magazine is "There's a Door In Your Head," and it couldn't have been more aptly titled. We saw earlier how people can talk without actually saying anything. We can talk by our actions. The fallen angels and demons that inhabit the unseen world are all interlopers; hoping and praying that they will be able to enter the life of someone; hoping that it will happen by any means. When a person takes mind altering drugs they pretty well put up a sign above them that announces, "vacancy" to all the malevolent entities that want a home, or at the very least, a life to attach themselves to.

So why do such a thing on purpose? Well, perhaps at first it is out of curiosity. Everyone has some need to know the unknown. But that is just what happens in the next step. Curiosity turns into the need to know the unknown because a person who knows what others do not know get a sense of power. The spirit of "power" is a very high principality. Power is just about the highest rung on the lust ladder. If a person had all the money in the world they would not be satisfied. Rich people always seem to lose their love for money after a while, and they then lust for power, and after they get power, they lust for absolute power. They'd never admit it, but their ultimate goal is a sort of godhood because power and ultimate power demand respect from all that are under them. In essence, pride is the sum of the equation in these matters. It is a weakness of the flesh that we live in. It is doled out by Satan who himself is the quintessential king of pride.

It was no different before the great deluge in Genesis. The fallen angels knew that if they gave mankind a way to enter the spiritual realm through drugs, mankind would aspire to gain back on its own what it had lost because of the fall of Adam and Chava. In the Garden of Eden, Chava fell for the lie of Satan who told her that if she ate the fruit, she would be like Elohim because she would then know good from evil. She ate so that she could be like Elohim and so that she could gain knowledge. The fallen angels went to the antediluvian women first because the thirst for knowledge and power still appealed to women of that day. Then, just like in the Garden, the men followed suit.

Summary

So we see that the words, or should I say the prophecy of Yeshua is ringing true yet again. We are in the last days and we can see that, simply by looking at how our society parallels the society on earth before the flood of Noah's time. The search for forbidden knowledge is just too hard a temptation for mankind to pass up. Individuals, and even governments, in an attempt to gain that power will do incredibly stupid things to obtain that power. But people forget that nothing of temporal value is given out for free; everything has a price. The price for opening up oneself to fallen angels and demons is possession by demons and the loss of one's free will. Making deals with the devil ALWAYS leads to slavery, destruction and death.

Yes, that's right folks, there is nothing new under the sun. Mankind is hopelessly stupid and he's going to repeat history yet again. It's not that mankind can't learn from his mistakes; he refuses to learn. In each vain attempt to do things his way, mankind acts like it can pull some imaginary trump card on Yahweh; sort of like a child that thinks he or she has found a new way to outwit their parent. Yahweh promised that he would never again destroy the world with a flood of water. This time he'll let mankind come close to destroying itself. The things that Yahweh brings upon the world during the Tribulation Period, I feel won't be necessarily be snap judgments by Yahweh, but instead, He'll just be letting go of what He's been holding back all of these years. Scripture clearly says that the wages of sin is death. Yahweh has been gracious for thousands of years, holding back the penalty of mankind's rebellion, but that will soon change.

Now, I wouldn't bring you up to this point in this article without offering some hope. That hope is that you can come out of the stupidity of mankind. You can become a new creation through Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah). You can make sure that you won't have to make deals with Satan, who's only a created being. You can stop your endless thoughts of worry, thinking that you might not be in a good place for eternity. Simply by asking Yeshua into your heart and to become Lord of your life you can have peace and bliss, yes, even during that time of Revelation when men are begging Yahweh to kill them, you'll have peace and contentment. Having a relationship with Yahweh through Yeshua assures that. It's free too; Yeshua paid the price for you; such a deal!! Go to our page that describes how to get a free and eternal life, just click here. I hope that this article has been educational and thought provoking and I pray that Yahweh will bless everyone who reads it with peace and contentment through Yeshua.
