TIME - YAHWEH'S TRUMP CARD

By David Ben Yakov

The purpose of this article is to focus on Yahweh, time travel and the elimination of time during the Tribulation Period mentioned in the Book of Revelation. There are others whom I am associated with who are working on similar writings, but using different scriptures. So, in order to keep things Kosher and not tread on the toes of others, or the work that the Ruach Ha Kodesh is doing through them, we will focus only on some basic scriptures; those being in Daniel, Revelation, Matthew and Mark.

The whole impetus for this study started a bit after Amber, a member of The Delusion Resistance, shared her article about what Yahweh was showing her concerning how she believes that Satan will try to manipulate time so that he can travel back in time and reclaim all that he thinks is rightfully his. The ultimate change that he would like to make is to again try and usurp God's authority and replace God; a foolish notion indeed. Amber's article can be found on our Web Site's site map and it titled, "The Revelation of Time."

The scripture in Amber's paper that really caught my attention was Daniel 7:25, which reads thusly:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change TIMES (emphasis, Amber's) and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Daniel 7:25

It is interesting that the angel that is relating this information to Daniel says that the anti-Christ will think to change "times and laws." Let's take a look at the Hebrew meaning of the translated words for both the words mentioned above. The Hebrew word for "time," is:

(Strong's - time)
H2166
 z'man {zem-awn'} (Chaldee);
from H2165; the same as H2165 - season, time

The word as used in this context can only mean season or time. Some have proposed, and rightfully so, that this means that anti-Christ will abolish holidays like Christmas, Easter and other Christian holidays. This would be applicable if the translation were to mean "season." And since the context of the scripture talks about this evil personage "wearing out the saints of the Most High," this meaning could be a valid one.

But if it actually means "time," it could mean that the evil one might try to actually change time. Whatever the meaning, these actions will be done to try and end the memory of El Shaddai from the populace of the world. The evil one has already watered down the meaning of Christian holidays to the point where their potency is almost that of water, but there is still a memory by some of the true meaning of Christian holidays. But if he thought that he could either himself or one of his minions could go back in time and prevent the events that the holiday's commemorate, then there would be no memory of the events because they would have never happened. This is the whole Paradox Notion of time travel, where if you go back and change one thing, many things will change after that.

Note that the word "time," is used also at the end of the scripture. But also note, that it is a different word with a different meaning:

(Strongs - time)
H5732
`iddan (Aramaic) {id-dawn'}
Time, as in a) time of duration or b) year

The angel is actually telling Daniel that the anti-Christ will be allowed to pursue these activities for three and a half years:

  • Time - 1x1=1
  • Times - 1x2=2
  • Dividing of a time - 1x0.5=0.5 or 1/2
  • 1+2+1/2=3.5

But notice something else. The last period of time is a dividing of a time. A division can be any amount. We will look at the cutting short of the time later when we look at Matthew 24.

The Hebrew word for "law" in the passage is:

(Strongs - Law)
H1882
dath (Aramaic) {dawth}
Decree, law: a) a decree (of the king); b) law;
c) Law (of God)

This is a very interesting word. Basically, it means law as it is decreed by any king or legislative body, and even El Shaddai Himself. But we have to remember that there are laws that exist, that have existed since the Creation of the Universe, that aren't studied in your run of the mill law school, nor in Christian or Hebrew schools. In the physical world we are governed by scientific laws that El Shaddai established when He made everything. There are many laws of physics, such as the Law of Gravity, the Laws of Thermodynamics, the Law of the Conservation of Angular Momentum and so on. Each of these physical laws pertain to our everyday life and we know them because we live them every day, even when we don't know what they are.

Most of these laws are fully understood, but like every law, it only pertains to the reality in which it exists. Most scientists if asked if time travel is possible would probably answer no, but their answer is based on some of the physical laws and also the fact that as far as we know, time travel hasn't been proven through scientific methods. One physicist though, is quotes as saying:

“For us believing physicists, the distinction between past, present, and future is only an illusion, even if a stubborn one.” —Albert Einstein

The thing is that all that we know, up until this moment, is all that we know. Those of us who are born again believers in Yeshua know that there is a spiritual realm. A part of us exists in that realm. It is commonly referred to at our spirit. Unfortunate for us, our fleshly existence blinds us from that reality. But there are other beings that live in that realm, specifically, angels and demons. The Bible tells us that at one time Satan (a Cherub in reality) rebelled and when he did, he convinced one third of the angels to do the same. Nobody knows the true number, but some speculate that it could be anywhere from the tens of thousands to the millions.

When one reads the Book of Enoch, one will see that when these angels rebelled, aside from cohabitating with human females, they also introduced into the world much technology. When Enoch is read, it appears to our modern minds that the technology that the ancients received from these angels was sort of primitive, and it was a perversion of what El Shaddai really wanted for his created creatures. But as we're not doing an expository of Enoch, we shall move on.

Our premise is, if these angels brought technologies to the ancients before the flood, then they can bring knowledge and wisdom of more vast technology to modern human society. One has to wonder about all of the inventions over the past hundred years or so. Mankind went from horse drawn buggies to interplanetary exploration in just that short time. That is just one instance of the bizarre and oddly accelerated wisdom that mankind had been given.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Daniel 12:4

The inclusion of Daniel 12:4 into this study was a total surprise to me. I had remembered that there was a scripture that talked about knowledge increasing in the end-times, so I did a search and found it. I can't just include a scripture without tearing it apart in an original language word study, and this scripture was no different. What I found surprised and thrilled me. Heck, it just plain blew my mind. Thanks Ruach Ha Kodesh, you'll never cease to amaze me.

The angel tells Daniel to shut up the words and to seal the book. Daniel was writing down all that he saw. Any good student would do such a thing. Daniel was a learned man, at times second only to the King of Babylon. In essence, what the angel was telling Daniel was to close the book (or scroll as the case may be) and to put a seal on it. A seal was usually made of wax and imprinted with the emblem of the King who owned the book or commissioned its writing. Only on the authority of the person who possessed the seal emblem could the seal be broken. A modern day equivalent would be to lock something in a safe and there being only the safe owner and the person who owned the article locked in the safe possessing the safe combination. In the ancient world, opening a sealed document without permission was punishable by death. This was serious business.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. Revelation 5:1-5

Above we have a scroll and it is sealed with seven seals. It is indeed an important scroll having so many safeguards keeping it shut tight. And as I mentioned above, only the scroll owner, or an agent thereof can open the scroll.

I would like to propose a theory, if you will, that there is a connection between the scroll that Daniel wrote, and the one that Yeshua is only capable of opening. Could it be that they are one and the same scroll? There are so many parallels between Daniel and Revelation that it goes way beyond coincidence. Check it out and see for yourself.

Let's take a look at the Hebrew definitions of the following words and then we'll tie them all together at after this section of our word study.

The next word that we come to it the word "time." It is different for the other words we've studied that mean "time." In the definition just below, all instances except for option "c" could be applicable in the context of the passage.

(Strongs - Time)
H6256
eth {ayth}

Time: a) time (of an event); b) time (usual);
c) experiences, fortunes; d) occurrence, occasion

The next word that we come to is the Hebrew word for "end." This is the word that truly blows my mind in the aspect of the context of the passage. The word is:

(Strongs - End)
H7093
qets {kates}

End: a) end, end of (of time); b) end (of space)

The third word in the passage is the Hebrew word for knowledge. It is:

(Strongs - Knowledge)
H1847
da`ath {dah'-ath}

Knowledge: a) knowledge, perception, skill.
b) discernment, understanding, wisdom.

Again, most if not all of the definitions fit into the context of the scripture.

And finally, let's look at the Hebrew definitions for the word, "increase":

(Strongs - Increase)
H7235
rabah {raw-baw'}

1. be or become great, be or become many, be or become much, be or become numerous.
2. to become many, become numerous, multiply (of people, animals or things).
3. to be or grow great.
4. to make large, enlarge, increase, become many.
5. to make much, make many, have many.
6. to multiply or increase.
7. to make much to do, do much in respect of, transgress greatly.
8. to increase greatly or exceedingly.
9. to make great, enlarge, do much.
10. to shoot.

So we can see that "increase," in this passage means just that, to become great. But if you look at number seven, there is an interesting twist to the definition. Increase could mean that many will transgress. A quick thesaurus look at transgress comes up with the following results: lapse, sin, contravene, break the rules, do wrong or violate the law. Because of this meaning, we'll have to paraphrase two different ways.

So, if we were to tie all of these words together with their Hebrew meanings, what would a paraphrase look like? Well, let's look at two ways to write it:

But you, O Daniel, close the book and seal the book, up until the occurrence of the end of time and space: many shall move quickly from here to there, and knowledge (wisdom and skill) will grow exceedingly.

Or, if the scenario of evil is inserted instead:

Buy you, O Daniel, close the book and seal the book, even up until the occurrence of the end of time and space: many shall run from here to there (aimlessly) and knowledge of sin and wrongdoing shall increase.

My feeling about the two paraphrases is that they could be melded into one:

But you, O Daniel, close the book and seal it up too. It will remain this way until the occurrence of the end of time and space. Many will aimlessly run from here to there and knowledge (wisdom and skill) shall increase as well as the knowledge of sin and wickedness.

So what the angel is telling Daniel is that at the end of time and space, technology will increase and that many will run around looking for the truth, but will not find it because they are looking toward that technology to solve their problems. Because they won't be looking to Yahweh for the answers, they will adhere to worldly wisdom and reject the truth. Gee, does that sound like the days we live in? I think it does.

But what really jazzes me about the scripture in Daniel is how it ties in with the scripture in Revelation that we will soon get to.

So when I think about the possibility of evil entities giving time travel technology to humans during the last seven years of human government on earth, it doesn't seem too impossible an idea to me.

But why would Satan need humans to create such a device if he has the technology. Couldn't he make the machine himself? Well we have to ask the question; does time exist in the spiritual realm. In every passage in scripture where Yahweh talks about time, even where He's referring to angels, demons and other things; He mentions time periods. All things seem to have appointed times. But time seems to be a physical property, and physical properties tend to be only reality in a corporeal world. I think that Yahweh equates everything in physical terms so that we can understand with our finite minds. In addition to all of this, we don't know all of the restrictions that El Shaddai has placed on Satan and Satan's minions. Maybe they can see all of the past but can't actually interact with it. That would tend to explain how demons who pretend to be departed relatives can know so much about the person they are counterfeiting.

So since time is a physical property, perhaps in order to change it, a physical being would have to travel back in time to create physical changes. Of course, this is all speculation, but sound speculation nonetheless. Just maybe that is why all of this abduction stuff is happening. Maybe Satan and his emissaries are taking sperm and ovum to create physical creatures that could be embodied by demons who will be commissioned one day during the time of Jacob's Trouble to start their journey back in time to fight a war against all that Yahweh has brought about. Of course, they will fail, and we will see why below in our study of a scripture in Revelation. In addition to that, we have to remember that El Shaddai has already appointed history to happen, as we see in the following scripture:

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Isaiah 46:9-10

 In the passage, verse 9 ends with the apostrophe after "like me." So, let's look at a few words in that verse. The first word is the Hebrew translation of the phrase, "of old." A wonderful word to say the least as it proves El Shaddai's eternal existence.

(Strongs - Of Old)
H5769
owlam {o-lawm'} or `olam {o-lawm'}

1) long duration, antiquity, futurity, for ever, ever, everlasting, evermore, perpetual,
old, ancient,
world

a) ancient time, long time (of past)  b) (of future)

1) for ever, always

2) continuous existence, perpetual

3) everlasting, indefinite or unending future, eternity

In this phrase, El Shaddai is telling us to remember His past fulfilled promises. To the people whom were being addressed initially by this passage, He was reminding the reader of fulfillments like His promise to Abraham concerning the birth of Isaac, or how He told Abraham in Genesis 15:13 how his descendents would be slaves in Egypt. These are just two examples that the people of Isaiah's time could relate to where fulfilled prophecy was concerned.

The first word in the passage that translates out in English as being God is different that the second word that translates out the same. That first word is as described below.

(Strongs - God)
H0410
'el {ale}

1) god, god-like one, mighty one  a) mighty men, men of rank, mighty heroes

b) angels c) god, false god, (demons, imaginations)  d) God, the one true God

2) mighty things in nature

3) strength, power

In this meaning, El Shaddai was saying that He was the one true God, in essence, the Almighty God, which is what El Shaddai means anyway. But we see something different with the second word translated in the English to mean God:

(Strongs - God)
H0430
'elohiym {el-o-heem'}

(plural intensive - singular meaning)
the (true) God, God

We have to remember that in Hebrew, when a noun is being described as plural, a suffix that sounds like "eem" is introduced to the word. For example, a prophet is known as a Nevi, but the collection of all of the prophetic books of the Bible in the Tenach (Hebrew Bible) is referred to as the Neviim, or Nev-ee-im. The same can be said to the portion of the Tenach which houses the writings, such as Psalms, Proverbs, Esther and others. A single writing is known as a Ketuvah. A collection of writings is called the Ketuvim, or
Ketu-ve-im.

So if we have a word for God in Hebrew, either "El," or "Elohah," and it is turned into a plural we have "Eloheem." So what does this suggest? It is a fancy way of saying what believers in Yeshua know as the Trinity.

If one were to make a paraphrase about the scripture that we are currently studying, one could express it in the following terms:

Remember the fulfillment of the prophecies that I spoke of and fulfilled in the past: for I am the Mighty One, The one and true God, and there is none else; I am the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and there is none like me, For I tell you what is going to happen far before it ever happens, and from times far in the past I have proclaimed things that are not yet done, and everything I've said will come to be, and I will see that it will happen, because it is my pleasure to do so.

If Satan is indeed going to try to invent some sort of time conveyance then he hasn't read scripture very well. It is quite evident that by looking at Isaiah 46-9-10, that God has written history in advance. He has seen the end of things and has cemented them hard and fast in time's arena. To even think that any being, either angelic, demonic or human could change any historic event to change the eventual and final outcome is on the order of moronic, imbecilic and/or idiotic. Only a deranged or insane mind could come up with such a scheme. But those terms tend to describe anyone who has practiced sin and has perpetuated it for self gain and gratification.

REVELATION MIGHT BEAR THIS OUT:

If the premise above is true than it will be found in more than one place in the Bible. Yahweh has written the Bible in such a way that if some of it is lost, the lost part can be found in other parts of scripture. It is an ingenious code, but we serve an ingenious God. A fellow named Billy wrote to me one day and presented the following scripture. I had seen the scripture maybe a thousand times  but never made the connection. The scripture reads:

And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:1-7

What could "that there should be time no longer," actually mean. Well, with that question fresh in my head I went to the Strongs Concordance online and checked out the meaning of the words in context with what is being said here. Okay, are you ready for some meat and potato's? Let's get started in a Greek word study. I'm so excited!!

The phrase in Greek is:         esomai chronos ou eti

The first word we come upon is a word for the phrase, "that there should be," is:

(Strongs - That There Should Be)
G2071

esomai  {es'-om-ahee}

shall be; will be; be; shall have; shall come to pass; shall

All of these words denote what is translated into the English Bible, so there is no mystery there.

The second word in the phrase is the word "time."   Chronos is defined as: "time," "season," "while," "a while," and "space."

(Strongs - Time)
G5550

chronos
{khron'-os}

time; season; while; a while; space

Many English words derive from Chronos; like chronograph, chronometer; both words having to do with time or its measurement. The most common usage of the word is "time," so we will assume that this usage is what is being referred to in this scripture. For a brief moment I thought that the definition of "space" was a noun, like outer space, but it means just a space of time in both scriptures where it is used.

The third word in the phrase is the word, "no."

(Strongs - No)
G3756

ou  {oo}

No

The word is described as a "definite negative," meaning that no means no. There could be no other meaning.

The fourth word is the most interesting to me:

(Strongs - Longer)
G2089

eti {et'-ee}

1) yet, still : a) of time

1) of a thing which went on formerly,
    whereas now a different state of things exists or has begun to exist

2) of a thing which continues at present: a) even, now

3) with negatives: a) no longer, no more

So, taking into account the meanings of the words, and the context that is present, we can present the scripture the following ways:

  • It shall come to be that time shall be no longer

  • It shall be that there will be time no more

  • Time is now a thing that went formerly, and that a different state of things now exists or has begun to exist.

  • Time, a thing that continued to the present, will exist no longer.

I think that the point is proven here. Yahweh is going to end time as we presently know it. There is a good chance that at this time the spiritual realm and the physical realm will not only coexist together, but will be present in the same plane. Spooky huh? A lot of things could be explained by this. For instance, when John saw angelic beings in the Revelation, perhaps (and this is pure speculation) everyone else after the Sixth Trumpet will see them too. The Dragon is seen in the heavens after this trumpet and Satan is cast out of heaven after this time too.

There is more in the unseen world than meets the eye; no pun intended. In the Second Book of Kings there is a story about a prophet named Elisha. Elisha was being sought after by the king of Syria. Seems that Yahweh had been giving Elisha the Syrian king's battle plans every time and Elisha was passing the information on to the Israeli king. The Syrian king, when he finally found out what was happening decided to hunt down Elisha and kill him. So in the scenario, Elisha and his servant were hold up in one city and that night the Syrian army surrounded the city. Elisha's servant rose up early and saw the armies and was frightened, so he asked Elisha what they were to do. And the story goes thusly:

And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?

And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. 2 Kings 6:15-17

It's my contention that when Yahweh puts an end to time the two realities, both spiritual and physical will be in synchronization. At that time, everything that happens in either realm will be view by those in either realm. The sight of the evil angels, in their decadent state, along with their offspring, the demons, will be a horrifying sight to mere mortals. And imagine the horror to the evil people on earth when they see their mentors (evil angels and demons) being defeated left and right, minute by minute and so on. No wonder they will plead with the mountains to fall on them to put them out of their misery.

Amber mentioned in her article that it is her contention that Satan will try to get mankind to make a time machine so that he can go back in time to change all of the mistakes that he has made in the past; an effort to again try to attain the throne of El Shaddai. But one thing that a fellow named Billy wrote to me was the following scenario.

His premise was that if mankind was successful, through advanced technology presented to him by evil angels, in making a machine that could send someone back in time. Billy's idea, and one that I could see Yahweh pulling off, is that when Satan finally gets the chance to go back in time, El Shaddai plays his trump card and says, "okay, I'm going to do you one better, I'll just eliminate time. You can't try to change something that doesn't exist anymore." Pretty cool huh??

THE WORDS OF YESHUA BEAR IT OUT TOO:

Of course, any subject is easier to swallow if Yeshua happens to bear witness to it. But does Yeshua make any reference to time ending? Let's look at two scriptures, one in Mark and the other in Matthew and see if they draw any parallels. In Mark we read:

For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark 13:19-26

And now let's look at Matthew and then do another word study and such:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Matthew 24:21-42

First, we can see that both passages tell that "the days will be shortened." we have to look at what this means by looking at the Greek words for the phrase.

The Greek word for "Days" in the passage is:

(Strongs - Days)
G2250
hemara  {hay-mer'-ah}

of the civil day, or the space of twenty four hours
(thus including the night)

Note that the same word is used, "days," in both instances where the word is found in the passage.

The Greek word for "shortened," is:

(Strongs - Shortened)
G2856
koloboo {kol-ob-o'-o}

1) to mutilate

2) in NT: to shorten, abridge, curtail

The first meaning is "to mutilate." Mutilate, as defined by the Merriam Webster online dictionary means "to cut off." The second definition means to shorten, abridge or curtail. Curtail means to make less by, or as if by cutting off or away some part. To abridge something means to reduce in scope or to shorten in duration or extent.

Now we have to remember that Yeshua said that the "days" will be shortened. "Days" constitutes a period of time, longer than one day and unspecified in duration. So, in essence, Yeshua is saying that at some time during the Tribulation Period, time is going to be cut off, or eliminated. So again, we have the scenario of time ending. In our contention that perhaps Satan is going to try to go back and change history to favor his wanton lust for power, we can see that El Shaddai will end time as we know it.

OTHER PROOFS ABOUT OUR THEORY:

We see something very interesting in both Matthew and Mark. In Matthew, Yeshua tell us:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And in Mark, His sentiment is echoed:

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Now let's look at this thing for a minute from a scientific standpoint. It's quite clear that El Shaddai is going to suspend time. What impact will that have on the heavens. What does time have to do with the heavens. Time is equated with atoms. The sub-atomic particles called electrons that orbit all atoms do so in a time sequence. If there is no time, electrons cannot orbit. The same is true on a larger scale with the planets in our solar system. They are basically like large electrons, orbiting our sun, which is like the nucleus of an atom. Orbits require time and space. Without time or space, their orbits would cease to be and it is possible that they would just fall from the sky. I'm not saying that they would fall to Earth, but would just lose all of their mass, energy and everything else equated with time. Even the stars would appear to fall from the heavens, not having mass nor energy. Time impacts so many things.

The Sun would not be able to shine it's light because time will be no more. The burning of its fuel and the fusion of the hydrogen atom which happen on the sun, all need time to be possible. It is interesting that El Shaddai will allow the sun and moon to remain in our skies instead of falling like all of the other heavenly bodies. Perhaps this will be allowed in order to show rebellious mankind that Yahweh is Lord of Heaven and Earth and that HE is all powerful.

With all of the stars and planets gone from view it will be very easy to see the sign of the coming of the Son of Man in the heavens. Many scholars believe that the clouds that Yeshua returns with are in all actuality all of his saints whom Revelation says will return with him when he physically comes back to earth.

In all fairness, I have to add another take on this matter. In the Bible, there are numerous mentions of "stars," and those mentioned are done so as if they are personages, not stellar bodies. Because of this, many believe (and quite rightly so) that the stars mentioned in the passages above could be talking about the rebellious angels. It is quite possible that this is right, but also (as we shall study below) that the true stars and constellations will be darkened in addition to the stars (angels) falling to earth.

WHAT WILL THE DURATION OF "NO TIME" BE?

Well to be quite frank, I really don't know. I personally think that it will last until Yeshua returns to Earth. I come to this conclusion by observing several things.

First, the time of Yeshua's return is referred to many times in the Old Covenant as, "the Day of The LORD." Time has to exist in order for there to be a "day" of the LORD. Days are made up of seconds, minutes and hours - time.

Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it? Amos 5:20

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. Isaiah 13:9-10

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. Joel 2:30-31

The Hebrew word for "day," is as follows:

(Strongs - Day)
H3117
yowm {yome}

day, time, year: a) day (as opposed to night)
b) day (24 hour period) as defined by evening and morning in Genesis 1;
as a division of time - a working day, a day's journey

The Hebrew word for LORD, is as follows:

(Strongs - LORD)
H3068
Y'hovah {yeh-ho-vaw'}

Jehovah = "the existing One"

the proper name of the one true God

In almost every instance where the "day of the LORD," is mentioned it means a literal day, and it is the LORD's day. Note that the reference in Joel says that the attributes of the period he describes, is before the Day of the LORD.

It is also interesting to note that sun, moon and constellations will be darkened. This would cause one to think that they didn't fall from the sky, but lost their luminosity. Light travels to us in what is called "light years." No time equals no years equals no light. Imagine coming out of a house or in this case, a cave or underground shelter only to find that everything is so dark that you can't even see your hand in front of your face. So it will be at this time. Remember, the flashlight won't work, nor will there be any artificial lighting, because there is no time. Of course all people will see Yeshua returning with his saints because it will be the only thing to see.

But we know that there will be time again during the Millennial reign of Messiah Yeshua. One reference says:

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. Isaiah 65:20

Aside from that, there are many references in the prophets concerning Millennial Israel that use references like, "at that time," or "in those days," or other similar phrases; all indicating that there will be time again. It appears that the cessation of time during the Tribulation Period will be a temporary thing.

So the riddle continues. I can't answer the question of how long the period of "no time" will be, simply because there will be no time to reckon that period by. If one can figure out where the Seventh Trumpet fits into the scenario, then one could figure out roughly when "no time" will start.

TIME ENDS, HARPAZO OCCURS?

It is awful interesting that Yahweh ends time and it is for the sake of "the Elect." In New Testament terms, the Elect always refer to true believers in Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Now don't we find it funny that just at the last trumpet blows, time ends and the Elect are kept from being deceived. What better way to keep the Elect from being deceived than to pull those of us who are left, out of the picture.

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

I surely wouldn't want to be alive on earth after time ends and the believers are removed from the earth. It will be a horrible time on this planet with the unseen world being manifest to the physical world; terrible looking demonic entities in concert with their angelic hosts torturing any people left on earth. There will be people openly committing the most heinous of sins and there will be no remorse whatsoever. People will beg Yahweh to kill them but they will not find death. It will literally be hell on earth. More can be read about the Harpazo (rapture) by clicking here.

SUMMARY:

Well, I think we can all agree that there are some interesting times coming for those who dwell on the Earth. I think that the argument is pretty convincing and the scriptural evidence is sound, that there will be a cessation of time some time in the future, and it will be Yahweh orchestrated. Mankind has always strived to rid itself of Yahweh, but mankind fails to realize that when Yahweh finally gives man the freedom to run this world by himself without Yahweh; Yahweh will remove not only Himself, but his people and a lot of the Yahweh created physical laws that govern the universe. Mankind must pay the piper if it wants to sing its own song. Oh, and we all know who the piper is; Pan = Lucifer = Satan!

Thankfully, there is a way to avoid this horrible period. That way is to get a personal relationship with Yeshua. He is Yahweh and is able to save all who call on His name. This is better explained on a special page on this website that you can access by clicking here. And to quote an old phrase that us Hippy Christians used to say when we parted company; "see you there, or in the air." Be blessed in Yeshua's Love.
