The Evolution Question

We start out here by examining what evolution is, or what it is supposed to be. A lot of people think that the idea of evolution started with Charles Darwin, when he offered this thoughts on how life came to be on Planet Earth. While he did bolster the idea in this era, evolution is much older.

 Mark Felix 170-215 AD "Some men deny the existence of any Divine power. Others inquire daily as to whether or not one exists. Still others would construct the whole fabric of the universe by chance accidents and by random collision, fashioning it by the movement of atoms of different shapes." (M. Felix Octavius chap. 30 (You'll notice that the term "atom" isn't new, but was invented by ancient Greek philosophers.) 

 Lactantius 260-330 AD "Some people teach that the first men lived nomadic lives among the woods and plains. They were not united by any bond of speech or laws. Instead, they lived in caves and grottos, using leaves and grass for their beds. They were prey to the beasts and stronger animals. Eventually, those who had escaped, having been torn [by wild beasts] ... sought out the company of other men for protection. At first they communicated to each other by nods; then they tried elementary forms of speech. By attaching names to various objects, they little by little developed a system of speech." (Lactantius Institutes bk. 6, chap. 10)

So we see that even back second and third century there were people running around saying that there was a "Big Bang," and that cavemen actually existed. And these are only two examples of evolution being prevalent at that time. I'm sure that many of the other ideas that evolution currently espouses were around then too.

The basic premise of evolution is that, given enough time, organisms can change into new organisms that can better survive in the environment which they live. One example that evolutionists use is the current theory of how they explain that birds supposedly evolved from reptiles. Now the evolutionists can't tell us why reptiles would want to become birds, but two theories that I have heard are quite laughable and not even worth the mention here. 

Now we must look at what would have to change to make a bird from a dinosaur. There are eight major changes that would have to occur:

The scales must change into feathers

Feathers are specialized for flight and scales are specialized for protection, each separate and distinct. They are also chemically different. This can be summarized in the following statement:

‘At the morphological level feathers are traditionally considered homologous with reptilian scales. However, in development, morphogenesis, gene structure, protein shape and sequence, and filament formation and structure, feathers are different.’ A.H. Brush, ‘On the origin of feathers’, Journal of Evolutionary Biology 9:131–142, 1996.]

And also, in another statement:

"after this Creation magazine article was written, we came across evidence that even this similarity may not be as great as supposed. Feather proteins (f-keratins) are biochemically different from skin and scale proteins (a-keratins).1

It is also known to be true that the chemical composition of feathers is more akin to the chemical composition of hair.1 So with that in mind, are we to believe that humans evolved from birds or maybe the other way around? Of course not, that is a ridiculous assumption, and so is the idea that birds evolved from dinosaurs. But we are not finished with our examination.

Feathers are anchored into the skin of the bird, penetrating it in some cases to the bone. They have hooks and barbs on them that when ruffled can be preened back into shape by the bill of the bird. Scales are a surface feature that don't penetrate to any significant depth. Feathers are replaced by new feathers when they are molted or lost but scales only shed at certain intervals, when the organism's size outgrows the skin.

The Skeletal System Must Change:

It is a simple biological truth that the bones of birds are porous and hollow. This causes light weight and allows less work to be performed to attain flight. The bones of reptiles are more akin to mammal bones hard and solid. 

To evolve from reptiles, the bird would have to develop wings. With this development comes a different muscular structure to accommodate for the beating wings and for stability in flight. Thousands of minute changes have to be made for wind gusts, barometric changes and other challenges common to flight. Reptiles have long tails while birds do not. Birds have wishbones while reptiles do not. The skeletal structures are very different and would have taken more time than allowed by evolution in order to develop. But the skeleton is just of of the myriad of differences between reptiles and birds. 

Look at the shape of the avian wing. Each bird wing is designed to perfectly allow the bird to use air currents to it's advantage. By simple muscle activation the bird can raise or lower it's altitude or bank to the left or right or suddenly dive. It's sort of funny that mankind, with all it's supposed intelligence didn't figure out that the shape of the wing is what allows flight until the beginning of the last century. Yet, according to science, this flight engineering marvel called the bird was just a happenstance.

The Cardiovascular System Must Change:

There are two basic changes in this category but they are major ones. The first change is that birds are warm blooded animals and reptiles are cold blooded animals. These two processes are very much different. Birds, like other warm blooded animals produce their own body heat, allowing them to venture into different temperature realms without much ill effect. Reptiles can't achieve this fete and become dormant when it is too hot or too cold.

The next major change is that birds have a four chambered heart whereas reptiles only have a three chambered heart. Reptiles are mostly sluggish creatures that can only maintain any speed of action for very short spurts of time. Birds have very high metabolisms which requires a more efficient heart to pump blood to vital areas quickly and to help to keep the creature cool. These two major differences more suggest a designer rather than random chance.

The Digestive System Must Change:

Bird and reptile digestive systems differ quite a bit. First, reptiles eat infrequently because they have much slower metabolisms. Some reptiles can go weeks between feedings. Birds, with their high metabolism's eat constantly. It's not uncommon for a bird to eat it's weight in food in one day. 

The digestive system of a reptile is quite simple and much more like mammalian systems than a bird. The bird on the other hand has some extra organs in its system. The crop and gizzard, which are located before the stomach are used to grind up and process the food before it reaches the large organ. Because of this, the nutrients in the food are processed in a much more efficient manner, allowing faster absorption which maintains the faster heartbeat and metabolism.

The Nervous System Must Change:

The brain of a bird is much more complex than the brain of a reptile. Birds have to think faster and move at a moment's notice. Therefore, their frontal lobes and motor sections of the brain are infinitely more complex than a reptile. The nervous system has to account for minute changes that happen in flight; barometric changes, wind velocities and other natural occurrences. Birds also have to be able to determine threats both on the ground and in the air. They have to be able to ascend or descend in a split second to avoid danger. They are quite remarkable animals. 

One thing that I like to compare flight to is walking a curb or perhaps the rail on a railroad track for any distance. Sure, it is easier when we are young, but we all fall off sooner or later. No, imagine trying to keep that balance if you were suspended only by the wind under your arms and your feet off of the ground. That takes an immense and highly complicated nervous system, of which there is nothing to compare in the reptile kingdom. 

While we are on the subject of the nervous system, let's look at yet another characteristic that birds have over reptiles; that being the ability to navigate. The migratory habit of birds is still mostly a mystery. Some speculate that the birds navigate by the stars while others suppose that they are guided by some sort of sensitivity to Earth's magnetic field. Navigation is yet another proof that birds have been designed, and not evolved. 

The Creature Has To Develop A Beak:

The beak is unique to birds. It comes in all sizes and shapes, depending on what the animal eats and other factors. Some beaks are long and tapered and are used to extract food from the mud or insect mounds. Others, like the duck are designed for eating aquatic plants and small fish. Some, like the beaks in the Parrot family are used to crush nuts and for climbing purposes.

Then there is the marvel, the woodpecker. This bird literally slams its beak into solid wood several hundred times a minute to extract insects. You and I would get a concussion and perhaps die if we would bang our heads against the wall with the force that the woodpecker uses. Recent evidence has come forth that the woodpecker actually has tiny shock absorber type membranes around its head to prevent harm. Not evolution, but design.

The Creature Must Produce A Unique Sound Producing Organ:

Have you ever heard the phrase, "she sings like a snake," or, "he whistles like an lizard?" Of course you haven't heard those things. Reptiles only make hissing noises, or in the case of the alligator, a sort of low growl. Reptiles aren't known for their musical abilities.

Birds on the other hand make beautiful melodies every day, aside from the occasional Magpie who only exists to wake me up from a nice peaceful sleep. Birds use their music for all sorts of communication. There are tunes for danger, tunes to warn away intruders and tunes to attract mates. These things denote a highly designed language which is vastly superior to any noises that a reptile might make. 

 

So we have seen from above that there had to be a lot of changes for a reptile to evolve into a bird. We have also seen that the changes weren't just trivial things, but major design changes. We have to remember that we only illustrated some of the processes that would have to occur and that there are probably many more that had to happen. And we also have to remember that this is only an illustration between two species; reptiles and birds, which are correctly referred to as Aves. That doesn't even take into account the changes between the supposed plant and animal split, the many mutations to make vertebrates out of invertebrates. Then the many mutations to make fish into amphibians, the mutations to make amphibians into reptiles, and the mutations to change reptiles into mammals. Then there are hundreds of thousands of differences between rodents, marsupials, bovines, equines, canines, felines, primates and between simians and sapiens. 

Where Did We Get All Of The Time?

Time is the major god of evolution. Without long periods of time, evolution can't happen. Science has pushed the envelope of time about as far as they can and still remain credible. Noted creation lecturer, Mark Eastman labels this process of time, "From the goo, through the zoo to you," which I think is adequate to describe the fallacy of evolution.

The evolutionists say that the process from creating life from rock compounds to mankind took around 4.3 billion years. What they don't tell you is that this is taking into account that every mutation that happened was successful and that the organism survived to pass the new genetic information on to a new generation. Well, let's start out with the scientific proven fact that where mutations are concerned, 99.9 percent are harmful or fatal to the organism or, it produces no noticeable change. In essence, the probability of one mutation being successful is one tenth of one percent. Only where evolution is concerned is this an acceptable percentage. 

Let's look at some examples and see if this percentage is really an acceptable one. Lets say that you are strapped into a space capsule on a very large rocket and NASA tells you that there is actually a 99.9 percent chance that you won't make it into space. Would you stay in the capsule? NO, you'd find the quickest way out of there. What if you had a million dollars and some stock broker told you to invest with him, but you have a 99.9 percent chance of losing your life savings. Would you go with that broker? No, you'd leave and wouldn't look back. And finally, let's say that perhaps you come down with some illness that requires surgery. Now, you go to a doctor who tells you that his success rate in surgery is one tenth of one percent. I think you'd go shopping for another doctor. Yet, people are so willing to believe a scientist when he or she says that we evolved from lower life forms yet we know that the successful mutation rate is not existent. 

Now, let's amuse ourselves and do some calculating how long it would take for a bird to evolve from a reptile. We have to bear in mind that these mutations would have to happen in tiny steps. Bear in mind also that mutations are never orderly and never bilateral. So we have this lizard who one day has a mutation. When it is born one of his leg bones is hollow and much lighter than the other three. He gets chased by a predator and since his balance is off, he can't run fast enough and is devoured. End of lizard, end of mutation. He never mated with another lizard and that killed the mutation and there is a very good chance that the mutation wouldn't be passed on to his offspring. It takes two to tango you know. Lets say that a mutation is kind to a lizard and he is born with two wings, with full feathers. Well, his kind uses it's front claws to forage for food but now that he has wings, he can't forage and he starves to death. End of mutation end of story. He mated though and his mate laid, lets say 10 eggs. Five are normal lizards and five are born with bird wings. Still, the problem persists and his offspring die off because they can't forage for food. You see, even if there was enough time for evolution, the odds will always be stacked up against the new creature because it will not be a complete change and the mutation, although not harmful at first will be canceled out by evolution's own law of "Survival of The Fittest." It seems that evolution wants to have its cake and eat it too, but it just doesn't work out that way. And let's not forget that just because an organism might be born with something new (as a reptile with wings) doesn't mean that it is programmed to use the wings. It wouldn't know what to do with the wings. Since it is a predecessor of birds, it didn't have other birds to watch and mimic. 

We have to remember one more thing too, that just because a new feature might be mutated on a creature the information to use the new feature will probably not be there. Can you see a dinosaur with wings just saying to nature, "you gave me these darn wings but you never told me what to do with them." To simplify things, lets look at it in human terms. Let's say that somehow I could finagle time so that I could send a hand grenade back to the Civil War period of American History. This Union soldier finds it laying in the field, but he has no idea what it is. He picks it up, examines it and sees that there is a pin to pull. He pulls the pin to see what happens and the grenade explodes killing the soldier. The grenade did absolutely no good, and even though it was a very effective weapon and could have saved the mans life, he didn't have the information to use it correctly and the lack of information was detrimental to him. The same thing can be said for feathers or wings on a reptile or feet on a fish, or a backbone in a creature that might be between invertebrates and vertebrates. 

And for those ardent in the evolution faith, let's assume that a dinosaur laid 10 eggs, and they all hatched and were full fledged birds, no pun intended. We still have a problem, because most mutations are born sterile. The birds might live a full long life, but after they are gone, they are gone forever. But what if they could somehow reproduce. What if in a freak occurrence (the basis of evolution anyway) all of the birds were born male or all of them were female. I mean we are talking about screwing with genes here and when that is done anything is possible. 

Now we're really on a roll here. Let's look at the eye. If evolution were true, there would have to have been a creature way back in the family tree that evolved the first eye. Remember that according to evolution theory, only the good mutations survive. So, we have this creature who gives birth to offspring and the offspring has an eye. The mutation would die out because an eye without an optic nerve is moot. The creature didn't develop a center in it's brain for sight, so the eye would be moot and the mutation would die out. All three mutations could not have happened at once so the whole idea is at best worth a good laugh. 

For argument sake, let's assume that evolution were possible. We have concluded that tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of mutations would have to occur between two animal types, as in between reptiles and mammals or reptiles and birds and so on and so forth. Simply, given the harmful mutation rate of nearly 1000 to 1, there simply is not enough time in the universe to allow it to happen. Even the chances of life developing from inanimate matter is astronomical, as illustrated below:

"The likelihood of the formation of life from inanimate matter is one to a number with 40,000 noughts after it ... It is big enough to bury Darwin and the whole theory of evolution ... if the beginnings of life were not random, they must therefore have been the product of purposeful intelligence." (Sir Fred Hoyle, astronomer, cosmologist and mathematician, Cambridge University)

The "simple cell" turns out to be a miniaturized city of unparalleled complexity and adaptive design, including automated assembly plants and processing units featuring robot machines (protein molecules with as many as 3,000 atoms each in three-dimensional configurations) manufacturing hundreds of thousands of specific types of products.  The system design exploits artificial languages and decoding systems, memory banks for information storage, elegant control systems regulating the automated assembly of components, error correction techniques and proofreading devices for quality control.2

So I ask you, if a "simple cell" is so complex, how much more the organism's that are comprised of such cells. Certainly design is proven in this. Isn't it funny that those who ridicule Christians for believing in an invisible God are the same people who believe that such a complex thing as a cell could be a happenstance. I ask you, who has to have more faith? But let us move on to more things.

Micro Evolution Vs. Macro Evolution:

It is important to understand that there are two types of evolution, and they are not the same. First, there is macro evolution, which is illustrated above. It is the notion that animal kinds can change into other animal kinds; reptiles to birds or reptiles to mammals and such. The second type of evolution is called micro evolution and it is a plausible and established fact. The crime is that evolutionists try to use micro evolution to prove macro evolution. 

The best example of this practice is illustrated with the story of the pepper moth. The pepper moth is native to England and comes in two varieties, black and white. The moth prefers the leaves of a certain tree there whose bark was white before the industrial revolution. Since the moth was white, it used that bark for camouflage and the birds found the black moths easier to spot and there was fewer of them. During that revolution there was a lot of soot in the air and the bark of the trees began to darken. The white moths, lost their camouflage and the birds had a feast eating them. Soon, the folks in England noticed that there were more black moths than white moths and the evolutionists came to the conclusion that the moths had evolved into black moths. Well, after the industrial revolution the air cleared and the trees regained their white bark and then the white moths became more plentiful because the black moths didn't have the camouflage anymore. The moral of this story is that both moths were pepper moths and that only a micro evolution happened.

Another example of micro evolution is the breeding between dogs. There are many breeds of dogs, but they are all dogs. You can breed a Chihuahua with a Saint Bernard, and although you would probably get a very unusual looking animal, it is still a dog. Cross breeding in same kinds is micro evolution. Horses have been bred with zebra's and the result will always be a horse or zebra, because they are the same kind, and equine. This works well with the account in Genesis where God said:

And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24-25

The Biblical account of Genesis is backed up by what can be observed today. That is true science, an idea that can be observed, noted and presented as a law. The evolutionary supposition of macro-evolution has never been observed, it is a series of suppositions, but presented as a fact to a public that accepts the notion that people with educations always tell the truth.

When evolutionists are presented with the fact that there are no examples of evolution in process in the modern world they now agree. For years they searched for such examples but found none. So now, their premise is that evolution has stopped. They tell us that it was a thing of the past but has ceased. But these same scientists say that processes on Earth have always been uniform. This is called of all things, uniformitarianism. They tell us that ever since the life process began, things have been the same, yet evolution is now exempt from the uniform theory. Again, we have science having their cake and eating it too. But guess what? God knew that evolutionists would say this when He had the apostle write:

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  2 Peter 3:3-6

Nothing is new to God. He knows the end from the beginning. Through His word, we know these things too and we know that evolution is dying. The problem is that not enough people are telling the public about evolution's coming demise, and how sick it really is. Many scientists and philosophers know the truth, but can't say it because they have been touting evolution for so long that they will lose their credibility in the public's eye if they proclaim that they were wrong. When you look at the highlighted words, "willingly ignorant," you can define it dumb on purpose. That is nothing but pride. And as the Bible says:

 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18

Because their pride won't allow them to tell the truth, it has lead to the deception of evolution being taught to two whole generations of school kids and a third is now having their heads filled with this mush. But there is a stern warning from Jesus Christ given to people who corrupt children:

But whoso shall offend one of these little ones (cause them to sin) which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Matthew 18:6

So we see that Jesus takes very seriously His love for children. He knows that they are innocent. If you are a parent and want to know how God really feels about the corruption, let me give you and example that you will understand. Let's say that you send your child to school and he or she is in an art class. The art teacher is evil and instead of teaching them how to paint nice things like trees, fruit or perhaps pastoral scenes, the teacher teaches them how to draw, paint or form pornography out of clay. If you are a moral and responsible parent, you would be outraged! You might go to the school to verbally or even physically punish the teacher. You would go to the school board and have the teacher fired and you would have them arrested and hopefully put in prison for a very long time. Now, magnify your feelings to an infinite degree and you will know how God feels about people who corrupt kids.

I do say to all of the teachers who at one time convinced me that evolution was true; that I forgive you. I think that perhaps you were acting out of your own ignorance, but only God knows your heart. I also want to tell any person who has taught a child evolution that all is not lost. The Press And Other Media Sources

A lot of people consider the conflict between evolution and Special Creation a war, but in effect it is a battle in the war for men's souls. The enemy knows that different people can be approached in different manners and he works skillfully to do just that. 

If you pick up a schoolbook from a grade school child, the theory of evolution is presented as a fact. There is no speculation in those books whatsoever. That is because grade school kids believe just about anything that they are told, and especially if they are being told by a teacher or other trusted authority. If you pick up a science book from a high school, you will notice that there is still a lot statements presenting evolution as a fact, but some contrived so-called "dating tests" are presented to try to prove the point. This is done because the deceivers know that teenage kids are near adulthood and adulthood is when people start to demand proof of claims that are made. Our favorite phrase in high school was, "put up or shut up," which was our way of telling someone to prove what they were saying. We were still naive though because we still thought that teachers taught the truth. 

When we reach adulthood, we are presented things differently. The good Lord showed me something that I haven't read before, and I have to present it to you. When we are adults we have a lot of things on our mind. We have to be at work at a certain time, and have to come home and do chores around the house. Then if we are married, we have to be concerned about our spouse and children. Our lives seem to be full from the time that we get up, to the time that we go to sleep. We watch the news while we eat our breakfast, listening for important words to catch our attention, and we miss a lot. We usually listen to the first part of any news broadcast and ignore the rest. In the same way we read the morning newspaper. We scan for articles of interest and ignore the rest. 

The writers of the newspapers know about our busy schedules. They know that we don't read entire articles, so they put what they want you to believe at the beginning of the article but they fill the rest of the article with things that give lies away. I have discovered, that around 98 percent of news articles in the newspapers print articles about evolution and science with this practice in mind. 

If the beginning of the articles state fact, what do articles say after the beginning. A close examination of most articles printed in the media concerning evolution will contain many examples of uncertainty such as:

 

  • some scientists believe

  • could have

  • could allow

  • could be

  • could possibly

  • probably

  • may have

  • suggested

  • they estimate

  • perhaps

  • strongly favor

  • guesswork

  • there was probably

  • circumstantial evidence

  • I think maybe

  • might have

  • scientists speculate

 

The words above are all contained in articles that I have saved from the newspaper.  Those 17 examples show reasonable doubt and that should not be acceptable for me where any belief system is concerned. The same people who laugh at Christians for believing in an unseen God are adherents to a philosophy built on conjecture, which is presented as fact. Let's go back to our examples and ask ourselves some important questions. If you were an astronaut sitting on a rocket that was described with any of those words would you stay in that capsule? Would you go into routine surgery with a surgeon who used those words to estimate your survival rate for the procedure? Would you place your life savings with a broker who used such words in describing his or her ability to make you money? The answer to all three questions is NO! So then, why do people believe those supposed scientists who use the same words. Here are some reasons why:

  • People see how much comfort and knowledge that science has given us and they figure that science has to be right.

  • People think that the scientists went to college so they must know what they are talking about.

  • People have never heard of an alternative to evolution.

  • People don't want to know about the alternative because they know that they will be held accountable if there is someone to answer to.

  • People are lazy and want others to do their thinking for them.

 

Technology, Science and Correctness:

It is very true that there have been a vast number of discoveries made by scientists that have made life very easy for us these days. The advancements made over the last hundred years or so would boggle the minds of the ancients if they could see them now. We have to remember though that there is a flip side to every coin. The same industry that makes vaccines also makes agents for biological warfare. The same technology that fostered nuclear medicine could also destroy the world numerous times. The same technology that allows you to fly across our land in 5 hours can bring a bomber attack in the same time. And, the same science that puts the Space Shuttle in orbit can deliver a warhead to your backyard with pinpoint accuracy. The list goes on and on. So, it's okay to credit science for many great things, but their inventions are used for many bad things too. Point being this, scientists create bad things as well as good things and creating bad things is not good, so science is not pure and isn't always right in the decisions that they make, especially where evolution is concerned.

Does an Education Produce Intelligence?

Just because a person goes to college doesn't make them smart. It is important to remember that there are three kinds of smartness:

  • Book smart

  • Experience Smart

  • Morally and ethically smart.

 

Book Smart

The best way that I can think to explain the distinction between the three is to illustrate an experience in a big city. The person who is book smart will know from reading or perhaps from hearing the experience of others what walking down 42nd Street in New York City is like. He might say that there are bums there and that there are shady characters hanging around. He might say that there are prostitutes and pimps there. He might even tell you that there are big buildings around there too. He really has no experience with the real city streets. Most evolutionists are like this. They believe what they have heard and read but have little practical experience. They believe anything that they hear about evolution, as long as that information propagates their belief. There are many Christians that are book smart too. They know scripture inside and out, but they lack some experience in applying what they have learned. The edge that they have over the evolutionist is that they are somewhat morally and ethically smart.

Experience Smart:

The person who is experience smart (we'll call it street smart from here on) knows the ropes of walking down 42nd Street. He leaves his hair a little messed up, wears an old tee shirt and sneakers. He doesn't carry a wallet and leaves his I.D. and a little cash in his front pocket. He walks with confidence giving off the air that he can take on anyone and win. He waves at the barkers, smiles and jokes with the hookers. He never looks up to see how tall the buildings are because he is supposed to know that already. He walks the walk and talks the talk. The professional evolutionist is this way. He has been in the trenches digging for bones, has traveled to foreign lands and had to live by their rules and regulations. He's been where the rubber meets the road so to speak. Although he has had his hands on these things he still has to convince himself that what he believes is true, so he is book smart too, having examined what others of his faith have said or supposedly discovered. The majority of Christians are street smart. We are told numerous times in God's word about the wiles of the world. We are told what to watch out for. Street smart Christians feed and preach to the homeless, preach to the barkers and prostitutes while treating them like fellow human beings, realizing that the only difference between them and us is the forgiveness that we have accepted in Jesus Christ. We never have to look at how high the buildings are because we are promised a new city, one who's maker is God Himself.

Morally and Ethically Smart:

We won't waste much time talking about morality and ethics. It was mostly described in the last paragraph where Christians are concerned. Frankly, there is no morality in the evolutionary believer. Laws and ethics are based on scripture, and laws are given by a lawgiver. To say that there are morals and ethics is to say that there is a God, and evolution can't have a God, other than their god of time, which is just a passing fancy. We have to remember that evolution teaches that we are all animals and not a special creation of a loving God. Therefore, since animal roots are the foundation of evolution, laws aren't really relative and the essence is that everyone can do what is right in their own eyes, sometimes called relativism; each thing done is relative to the situation or the person it is done by. That is why people like our former president can get away with his crimes because in his eyes, they weren't really crimes, just the way that he does things. The next time anyone reading this doesn't think that our nation has declined because of evolution, look at Bill Clinton, the prime example of moral decline. After all, it's all what your definition of what the word "is" is. 

Never Heard of Alternative:

A couple of hundred of years ago very few people thought nor cared that there was an alternative to Christianity. Today, there is a great chance that the coin has flipped where that notion is concerned. Evolution is taught with such fervency, and religious education has dropped quite dramatically so that it is possible that a person could hear about evolution and not hear about it's viable alternative, faith in the God of Israel. One thing that I have noticed is that the press has all but dropped the subject. We used to hear about the debate all of the time on the news, but now very little is said. My suspicion is that the realized that by bringing up the subject they were letting people know that there is an alternative, and they can't have that, so they go silent, figuring that the alternative will be forgotten.

There are some problems with that statement though. First, there is that fact that there are the three main monotheistic religions which all preach the creation event (a six day creation), and those three religions are found in the populations of countries that comprise a total population 800000r 2 billion people, or 1/3 of the entire human population of the Earth. That does not figure in the millions of Christians in China, Russia or those in India and other areas of the Earth. Christian preachers are active in all areas of the globe and many each day hear the story of the creation story. So all told, there are probably close to 3 billion people around the world who have had some sort of connection to the telling of the creation event.

Another thing that we must consider is that universities in the western institutions of higher learning have for some time gone out of their way to preach evolution and to ridicule The Creation account. Now, I know that not everyone is a free thinker like me, but if I was sitting in a class and had a teacher or professor trying to discredit Creation with such fervor, I would have to investigate what was bothering that teacher about the adversarial view. I say that because I know that when a person is trying with such intent to prove his beliefs correct, they are usually doing so, not to convince others, but to convince themselves that what they believe is true. When an evolutionist wins a convert, they aren't so much happy that they have another notch in their favor, but that they have gotten someone to believe in something that is so unbelievable. It's as though they are thinking that since one more person believes the same that they do, it has to be right. The same illogical thinking is like people preaching that the world is flat. It doesn't matter how many people hold that view, the world is still a globe and all of the flat earth people thinking that it is flat will not change its real characteristics.

Now I know that there is at least one person reading this who is asking the question about people in remote areas. There are still parts of the world where the Creation story has not been told. Let's look at a few facts. The creation story is not unique to the Bible. It is told in many different cultures in a variety of different ways. If there was a group of people who never heard the creation story they would still be guilty because, as the Bible clearly states:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Romans 1:18-20

People are Lazy and/or don't want to accept the truth

Originally I wanted to place these two categories separately. After a bit of thought and prayer I feel led to put them together. 

Humans are inherently lazy and everyone falls into that description in one way or another. Any honest person will agree that they are lazy to some degree. In my own life I am lazy where it comes to keeping my abode in order. I pick up a book and put it somewhere, then lay some paperwork somewhere else and by the time the week is over, I have what looks like a disaster area. 

Another thing that people are good at is playing the blame game. There are very few people around who are willing to take full blame for any situation that they might have caused. Again, referring to the last paragraph, I can come up with all sorts of excuses for not keeping my apartment in order. I could blame it on phone calls, on unexpected visitors or any number of things. But in reality, the blame rests on my shoulders because I am sometimes unorganized. I could have willed to put that book away, or put that paperwork back in a file, but I mused that I would do it later. When later comes, the work is amplified because it has built up. Yes, I've even caught myself making excuses for the disorganization, telling others that I have been too busy to do the simple chores.

Now, let's look at this in a belief of Special Creation. There are a lot of different people who believe in evolution for different reasons. I do believe that there are some higher ups in the evolution pyramid who actually believe in their theory as being fact. They however are a small minority and they are becoming more microscopic in size every week. You see, what people don't realize is that if you tell a lie long enough you start to believe it yourself. That is a good sign that one has a reprobate mind.

Then, there are the others high up in the pyramid who once believed with great faith, but have come to know that it is all hogwash. They publicly hold to evolution because they have perpetuated such a deep lie, with so many facets that they would be humiliated and discredited if they told the truth. So, to protect their livelihoods they keep the perpetuation alive. Then, there are the ones who teach in the universities, high schools and grade schools who teach it because they believe it to be the truth, or because they would be ostracized should they defy the status quo. Then there are the poor schlemiels who believe it because it is what they have been taught in schools. 

Now, why would a person believe in evolution as opposed to Creation? For the most part it is because they don't like the accountability to a higher power. With evolution, mankind is free to do as it will with no fear of having to pay for their deeds at a later date. A belief in God causes a person to live a more ordered life of morality for fear of a day of retribution. The denial of God is called rebellion.

Now, stick with me as I tell you a short story. I grew up in New Jersey, not far at all from New York City. By the time that I was born, the area had deteriorated quite a bit and drugs and crime were very common. A lot of the kids that I grew up with got into that crime and drug scene and I am sad to say that quite a few of them are dead. I'll call and ask about people, only to hear things like Charlie was murdered in a bad drug deal, or Paul got high and was hit by a train down at the tracks. I hear how Les is living in the city now and is a heroin addict and that Carl and his brother both died 800000rdoses. What did all of these guy have in common? They rebelled against their parents (who incidentally were all good people) and they rebelled against God. They all cast God aside and wanted to run their lives their own way; and they all came to destruction.  

So, why is it easy to choose evolution? Simply put, to choose rebellion with the mistaken notion that they will not have to pay. How can any of them figure that they won't pay? They will blame it on evolution and those who taught it. Someday God will ask, and when they blame it on evolution and it's teachers they will have no excuse. Laziness has never been a good excuse before God. In this country especially, we've had a reasonably fair amount of religious freedom. Bibles are found everywhere. All Christian book stores have books about Creation and such. And finally, like Paul said in Romans, and as written above, the very creation spells it out for everyone. Every man and woman will be held accountable for their belief in evolution, and all of it's tentacles that permeate throughout our society.

 

 

Is There Trouble In The Camp?

You know, it's fun to look back at the preconceived notions that we all develop. When I was a child and into my teenage years I always thought of scientists as people that were almost pious. I saw a lot of pictures of Albert Einstein (for whom I have great regard) and in those pictures he always looked like he was figuring out physics problems on a blackboard in his brain. I really like smart people.

There was another person who I really admired while I was growing up. His name was Robert Elliott and he happens to be my cousin. Bobby always had that look about him too, like he was talking to me, but  also trying to solve the mystery of life at the same time. No one really knew what sort of science Bob was involved in. I don't think that he kept it a secret, but he probably tried to explain it at one time or other and no one really understood what he was talking about. That's only a theory of course.

From what I've read about Einstein and what I know about Bob Elliott, they had one major theme in common. They were scientists who practiced real science. Any speculation that they had was never written as fact and they were always sure of what they thought before they presented anything as fact. They were real scientists. Albert left us some time ago, and where he went after he departed is only speculation. Bob on the other hand was a devout believer in Jesus Christ and he's now in heaven. And guess what? All of the questions that he ever had are now answered.

As we have seen above, the part of science that calls itself evolution is not really science at all, but preconceived notions built on speculation and whim. But what those in evolution won't tell you is that there is a pecking order, there is a hierarchy, and there are territories. 

The territorial games that we see in the evolution realm are fascinating and akin to a good game of RISK. For those who don't know, RISK is a board game where territories are conquered using armies and the roll of the dice. The best example of this is found in an article, published originally in the New York Times, where it is written:

But some researchers suspect the growing controversy may be fueled in part by personal animosities and territorial disputes.

One of the discoverers, Dr. Martin Pickford of the College de France, has made important enemies in his profession, notably Richard Leakey. Other critics suggested the fossils might have been collected illegally on the turf of another paleontologist.3

It is no different from a gangland story where one gang says, "hey man, you're on our turf, now we're going to have to hurt you." In the case above, they are saying, "okay man, since you found your fossil on our turf, we're going to ruin your reputation." Now, what is more important, the find or whose turf it was found on. But let's not forget, we are dealing with people who think we evolved from animals. What is a chief characteristic of the animal world, but marking areas. A person once said that the more men believe we are related to apes, the more they start to act like them. Now, that's real science!! Yet we have to remember that what is illustrated above is only one case in what must be many.

Evolution - The Source of Racism

One of the biggest concerns in the world, especially in the United States is racism. Great strides have been made to combat racism her in the States, but there is a long way to go. Sadly, while human government still exists on Earth, racism will not be eradicated. You see, racism is sin, and is built into every person. Anyone who says that they have never had a racist thought is a liar, plain and simple. 

Personally, I really don't like the word racism because there is only one race anyway; the Human Race. We are all just split up into different families, all descended from the three sons of Noah. We are all anatomically the same, share the same genes and every family can interbreed with the others. So how do people distinguish differences? They judge primarily by what they see. If each and every one of us were blind, we would not be able to tell the difference. Sight is the primary trigger point of racism. Once a person's race has been seen then the other preconceived notions start to manifest in one's opinion. Again, anyone who says that this hasn't happened to them is a liar!

This is true where evolution is concerned. Look at the line of human evolution that has been forced down our throats since we were youngsters in school. The older and more primitive creatures are portrayed more like African people. As the line progresses to more modern men, the creatures start to lighten until we come to Neanderthal. From him, through Cro-Magnon and finally Homo sapiens characters look lighter, like modern Europeans. So in essence, what the timeline says is that people of African descent are more primitive and less evolved. That is racism in it's purest form.

Now, if pictures won't convince you about the racism of evolutionary theory, let's look at what some of the scientists have said.

As long as early human ancestors had smaller bodies and brains, Tattersall said, they lived mainly on plants and confined themselves to a limited range at the edge of the forests, not too deep in or too far out of the savanna. Once they had stronger bodies and higher high-protein meat diets, they were able to spread out geographically and ecologically.4

The words above were in an article that was trying to prove that mankind originated in Africa then spread to the rest of the world from there; called the "Out of Africa," theory. So, in essence, the article is saying that when men evolved, they left Africa and moved to other continents, leaving their ancestors, who had smaller brains and were less evolved, there. The rest of the article seemed to suggest that too. A more blatant racism is illustrated below.

The researchers determined how heavily mutations scrambled the DNA across the generations. They found that Africans are about twice as diverse in their genetic makeup, and thus older than other groups.5

We must remember a common rule in evolution is that older is less evolved. Their rules set it up that way. Therefore, what they are saying in, as nice a way possible, is that Africans are less evolved than the other families, or as they say, races. Along with that connotation they insert "less intelligent" and "less valuable." Those are not my words, but theirs. Also remember that we live in a society that views older things with less value. 

Adolph Hitler:

Probably the worse racist of modern times was Adolph Hitler. Hitler claimed that he was an Aryan, one of pure blood, not tainted (his term) by other races. He put together a list of what evolution had taught to him about the families of mankind. Look at his list and see how it is permeated with evolution thought.

So now that we what he believed, let's look at his track record where human rights were concerned. His most heinous crime is the murder (genocide) of 6 million (1/3 of the world Jewish population) Jews. Add to that millions of Gypsy's and Slavs and other Europeans. Many Germans who disagreed with him were murdered. He started a war that killed upwards of 50 million people worldwide. And finally, he started a legacy of Nazism, that still lives with us today. So, racism (via evolution) ruined a man which in turn ruined a world. And this (evolution) is what every public school child is being taught, and has been taught since the 1960's in America. It's sad that we can't remember history just a short 60 years ago. What is hard for me to understand is why those of Jewish and African descent aren't up in arms over evolution theory. It is because of evolution thought that they have been subject to so much persecution and strife over the years. Remember, racism is whenever one people is distinguished from another because of the way they look, or because of their customs or because of their beliefs. Racism says, "they're different, so they're not equal." Evolution says "they're different so they're not as evolved." There's no difference in either thought and they are entwined in each other.

What has evolution given to our society? Well aside from some mindless dribble about our supposed origins, we have gotten nothing but trouble. In 1963 prayer and Bible reading were taken out of the public schools. In their place, evolution was placed. Before 1963 the average high school text book had around two thousand words on evolution. In 1963 that number jumped to 33,000 words. In 1963 the rate of sexually transmitted diseases began to climb for kids 10 to 14 years old. That same year the divorce rate began to go up. Also in that year violent crimes began to increase. There has been an almost 1000% increase in violent crimes since 1963. Unwed birth rates for girls 10 to 14 have increased 100% and pregnancies are up 550% with most of them being aborted, aka murdered. The SAT scores have dropped off greatly since 1963. It gotten so bad that they had to dumb down the test so that the kids could pass. Then president Bill Clinton bragged about how better the kids were doing. Well no kidding, seeing that you made the tests easier to pass. Gee, I wonder if he was happy because he could then pass the test? And finally, the number of unmarried couples living in adultery has increased by 725%.6  Seems like we were much better with the Bible and prayer. 

Summary:

If you are a student and are being fed this scatology I ask you to please consider that there are options. The reason why most teachers get away with these lies is because they are not challenged by students who are seeking the truth. Do your homework and then go in asking complicated questions. Ask common sense questions too because things built on nonsense can't stand up to the truth. Also, go in fighting, knowing that the answers that you get will be circular reasoning and doubletalk. It might sound good at first, but at further examination will show you that it is garbage and can't stand up to good science and common sense.

If you are a parent who has a child or children in public school you need to ask yourself a lot of questions. You wouldn't feed your children poison and you certainly wouldn't tell them things that will affect their lives in a negative way. I can promise you that if they are in public school they are being taught lies and are being set up with a philosophy that will affect their lives and their eternal outcome. Most schools give alternatives to children whose parents find evolution offensive. If enough children were out of class because of that the lesson it would have to be changed or omitted. Parents should search every book for evolution or New Age content. Books are often changed when enough parents complain about them. Remember, the schools get money from the federal government for each day a child is in school. When a lot of kids start to miss days it hits the school in the wallet and sad to say that they care more about the dollars then they do your kids, so they will change in order to get the kids to stay in class.  And finally, parents and kids need to get educated about evolution. The truth is all around, but like the brass ring on the merry-go-round, you have to reach out to grasp it. It's fun learning because you learn it along with your kids, like you are both in school together.

And finally, to the teachers and other perpetuators of evolution, you know that what you are doing is wrong. Wouldn't it much easier to come clean and live a moral and decent life, rather then tell lies that you constantly have to cover up with other lies. That sort of lifestyle gets old after a while. I know that it might seem complicated, but all you have to do is admit that you are wrong and that what you have taught is wrong. There is no better time to start than right now. And tell God that you are sorry and then don't sin anymore. He is so willing and able to forgive your sins and errors. You just have to accept the provisions that He has made for you, His forgiveness and your acceptance into His glorious kingdom.  

An Invitation:

Did you know that there are three things that God can't do? They are:

God can't lie - it's against His nature.

God can't be surprised - He knows everything already.

God can't make you love Him - you have a free will.

There are three things that doesn't know:

God doesn't know a sin that He doesn't hate.

God doesn't know a path to Him other than through His Son.

God doesn't know a better time to come to Him than right now.

 

Let's Expound on the six things that have been said here.

God can't lie:

It's true! His very nature is the beauty of truth and fidelity. For this reason we know that His Word (The Bible) is true. Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha Machiach) often quoted from many parts of the Bible, proving it's validity. God always keeps His promises. One of those promises is that you can be forgiven from your sins and live a life of peace with God. Jesus said that a man cannot come into His kingdom except through the acceptance of His atoning blood. You have to believe the sacrifice and accept the sacrifice to be righteous in God's eyes. If Jesus said it, it has to be true, right!

God can't be surprised by what you do:

He lives outside of time and space and has viewed all your history and future forever. He knows your heart better than you do because He has seen the actions of your heart in your future. 

God can't make you love Him:

He has given all people a free will. If he were cause us to act like puppets He would be no better than a slave master. Many people wonder why there is so much suffering in the world, and they sometimes blame God for not stepping in to correct all of the problems. Well, if He did step in, people would start saying that God is unfair and bossy. They would accuse Him of tyranny because He would be trampling on their wills. So, God is in a Catch 22 situation where he is accused either way. But since we have been given free will, all He can do is offer peace and freedom through the blood sacrifice of His Son. And let's not forget, that if He did step in He would have to destroy everyone who has not accepted His free gift of grace. Remember, that everyone is a sinner and God hates sin. The wages for sin is death, so if He stepped in to stop the murderers, thieves and such, He would have to punish the adulterers, fornicators, liars, cheats, those who are disobedient to their parents and any person who has committed any sin whatsoever.  No unregenerated person would stand a chance. Now, that would seem unfair to most, although God does have a right to punish sin. 

So, how did God solve our problem with sin? He knew that no sinful person could redeem themselves, so He came here in the person of Jesus Christ, a man without sin, and he took our sins for us. On that cross He became you and me and became our sin. I've heard a little story that best explains what Jesus did.

God took someone on a celestial trip one day and they came to a world that was filled with the most ravenous dogs. The planet was inhabited with only fierce dogs. So God told the person that He loved the dogs and wanted to do something to redeem them. He told the man that he wanted him to go down and preach to the dogs and give them God's word. The man said that he would do that. Then God told him that he would have to become a dog in order to preach to them. The man thought about it and agreed. Then God told him that he would have to become a Chihuahua. The man told God that he would do it. Then God told the man that he would be abused terribly and would be killed by the other dogs, but not to worry because God would raise him again. The man agreed to this too. Then God told the man that he would remain a Chihuahua forever and would always retain the scars from the abuse.

This is a parable of something similar to what Jesus gave up to save you and me. He was totally divine and even created the heavens and the Earth, yet he laid it all down to save mankind. He will always be human as well as God, whereas he was totally spirit before. He will always bear the scars of his abuse and crucifixion. He didn't have to do all of this, but He did, and offers salvation to us freely. But even though His gift is free, it has to be accepted by each individual. It can't be accepted then discarded, but has to be accepted and cherished because it is the best gift that anyone could give to you.

See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told, they will see, and what they have not heard, they will understand. Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.  We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away. And who can speak of his descendants? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 52:13 - 53:12 Note: Please note that this is a prophecy, written somewhere between 740 and 680 BC.

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21

You can understand the sadness of God. He gave the best gift that anyone could give, His own Son's life, yet people reject it all the time. We can relate by imagining our giving something very dear to us to a friend or loved one. We prize that gift and we don't have to give it, but we want to because we love that person so much. That person hears from someone about the gift you are about to give them and they say that they don't want it. They think the gift is stupid and utterly worthless and upon receiving it, they throw it back at you and spit in your face. What would your reaction be? Can you see now why the second coming of Jesus will be a coming of vengeance and divine justice? 

God Hates Sin:

As mention in brief above, God hates all sin. From the tiniest lie to the most grotesque murder, He hates them all. The word sin comes from an old English archery term. Their archery contests were much like the modern day events. The object of the contest was to hit the bull's-eye. If a person didn't hit the bulls-eye they were said to be sinning, or, off the mark. Since the bulls-eye was a perfect score, hitting anything other than the bulls-eye was less than perfect. Since God is perfect by His holy nature, he cannot accept imperfection. He cannot even look upon it because it repulses Him. So, after the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, mankind was in dire straits. The only way to correct this imperfection was for God (who is perfect) to make a sacrifice for mankind. I sort of equate it to cleaning a mirror. If you use a dirty rag to clean it you just move the smudges around and smear them. But if you use a clean rag, the dirt and smudges come off very easily. Because we were dirty rags, we could never clean up our own mess, we needed a perfectly clean cloth to remove the (sin) dirt and smudges. We, (the dirty rags) have been washed by the blood of Jesus, the best detergent in the universe. We have been washed white as snow and our sins are no more. I apologize to anyone who thinks that the preceding analogy is sacrilegious, but it gets the point across.

Let me go on a little side street here. Many people often question the fate of the people who lived before the death and atonement of Jesus Christ. When Jesus was dead, and before his resurrection, He went to Sheol. Sheol was the place where the dead went before Jesus' sacrifice. It was divided into two portions, one called Paradise (Abraham's Bosom) and the other called torments. Of course you can easily determine who went where after they died; the good people to Paradise and the bad folks to Torments. Because the only way for men to enter heaven is through salvation through Jesus, He had to preach to those dead in Sheol so that they would have the same opportunity as for salvation. Those who accepted were taken with Him to heaven.

Proof of Sheol:

"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. "The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, `Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' "But Abraham replied, `Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.' "He answered, `Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.' "Abraham replied, `They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.' " `No, father Abraham,' he said, `but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.' "He said to him, `If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' " Luke 16:23 - 31

Proof of Jesus having gone to Sheol:

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit, through whom also he went and preached to the spirits in prison who disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. 1 Peter 3:18-20

But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) Ephesians 4:7-9

God doesn't know a path to Him other than His Son:

It's true! God is the supreme author of the whole Bible. Every word was inspired by Him and he dictated it to Moses, the prophets, the apostles and all of the other writers of the scripture. The fact that of the books of the Dead Sea Scrolls that have been translated, 99.9 percent of them match what we read in the Bibles that are in our homes and churches. The Bible's integrity is God's integrity.

All of scripture points to Jesus Christ. Aside from the direct prophecies of Messiah, there are inferences all through the work, from Genesis to the last words of The Revelation. God's fulfillment of prophecy is His seal of authenticity on His words. Since Jesus is God in human form, we have to trust that what He said about Himself and paths to His Father are true.

Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:5-6

Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him." In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. " "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." "How can this be?" Nicodemus asked. "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. John 3:3-15

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." John 3:16-21

 

There are those who claim that there are many ways to God. They say that Jesus was but one of the great ascended masters; like Buddha, Vishnu, Mohammed, etc. who came to enlighten mankind. If that were true, then almost all religions should have melded because the messages should be the same. The fact is that all of the messages are different. All religions claim to be the one true faith. So what about Jesus and Christianity. Jesus is the only one who claimed to be the Son of God and proved it with miracles. He is the only one who raised someone from the dead. He is the only one who offered his life as a ransom for mankind and He was the only one who was resurrected. A person once told me the difference between true Christianity and religion. Religion is man's attempt to reach God. Christianity is Gods attempt to reach mankind. Makes you think huh?

God doesn't know a better time to come to Him than right now.

Why put off till tomorrow what you can do today. A stitch in time saves nine. The early bird gets the worm. Those three things are sayings of which each of us has heard at least once. They all denote the fact that it is better to get things done right now than to put them off until later. You see, "right now" is happening as you read this text. Tomorrow on the other hand may never come. That might be okay if you are talking about missing that big sale at Penny's, or perhaps a two for one special at the supermarket, but where your eternal destiny is concerned it is of great concern. 

You and I have absolutely no idea when we will take our last breath. It could be right now or many years down the road, but eventually it will happen. The provision for forgiveness is only available while you live in your earthly body here on Earth. After that time it will be too late if you never made the choice. As you have seen above, Torments is not a fun place, and it's not a big party in hell with all of your friends who thought just like you did. Instead it is eternal separation from God and any chance of happiness; and eternity is a very long time. Please pardon the oxymoron.

Some day in the future, and all indications are that the time is getting very close, God will bring the fullness of the gentiles to an end.

I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. Romans 11:25

Sometime after that day Jesus will return for His Church and we will be brought up to heaven in the twinkling of an eye.

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17

I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:50-52

After the church (true believers) are gone the Spirit of God will be gone too. After all, His Holy Spirit is only here for two reasons; to be a comforter and a teacher to the believers, and to reprove the world of sin. 

Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8

Yes, one day man is going to get his wish and have a world without God or us pesky Christians who are always trying to tell everyone about Jesus. Then, a man will arise and will look to have all the answers to problems here on Earth. He will be a man possessed by Satan and for a while it will look as though he is a god, but soon he will show his true colors and all hell will break loose. The world will learn that God really restrained total evil while His spirit was here on Earth and many will mourn. Those who become believers during that time will have a hard time. They will be persecuted and killed for their belief. Then Jesus will come back to slay the wicked and to institute His kingdom here on Earth. 

So you see, God does know no better time than right now to come to Him in repentance and humbleness and to accept His forgiveness through the blood of His Son. It's easy to do, cost's nothing and you will live clean and forgiven for eternity. You have a free will and the choice is yours. He can't force you to make that choice. He has made every provision (other than your acceptance) for you to be free. What will you do?
