THE ANGEL OF THE
CHURCH
OF ROSWELL

Drawing by Heather
INTERPRETATION:
Heather gave me
this picture while we were down in Roswell, New Mexico during the
beginning of July. She gave me the drawing on July 07, 2007; saying
that she drew it while her group drove to Roswell from Sacramento,
California. I felt impressed right away that the picture has
prophetic significance but until I prayed about it tonight I didn't
know what that significance was.
Head Bowing:
At first glance it
looks like the bowing of the head is from being tired, or perhaps
sadness, but there is a more real meaning. The head of the angel is
bowed to signify that the church in Roswell looks toward the things
of the earth to derive it's sustenance. To illustrate this to me in
real-time, Yahweh reminded me of a store that I visited with
Heather. In the store we heard Christian music playing. While in
there, I talked to the proprietor, who informed me that someone had
placed an anti-alien sticker near the front door of his
establishment. In the next breath he told me that he quickly removed
it because it was the whole alien thing that brings money into the
store. This is the mentality of Roswell, and a lot of the churches
there too; some of the businesses that sell alien paraphernalia are
owned by ordained Christian [sic] ministers.
Unkempt Hair:
The hair on the
angel looks to be unkempt and dirty. This represents the faith of
the church in Roswell. There's been no revival, no newness to the
faith or function of the church there. There's been no attempt to
rectify this situation; no attempt to groom that church. The hair
(faith) is stagnant, so to speak.
Shoulders Drooping:
The shoulders
drooping on the angel are a sign of bad posture. The body of Messiah
in Roswell has bad posture; meaning that instead of being strong
pillars of righteousness in the community, they are instead hunched
over, the posture being caused by carrying the heavy burden of sin
and infidelity to Yahweh.
Uneven Wings:
Notice that the two
wings aren't equal. One wing is whole while the other is malformed
and drooping. The healthy wing represents those in Roswell who are
still faithful to Yeshua and His message. They are the ones who
haven't been soiled by the corruption there. The other wing is
representative of the others. With a malformed wing, the church as a
whole is unable to fly; is unable to work effectively.
Malnourished:
A cursory look at
the torso of the angel shows that he is pretty well malnourished. To
be frank, this condition is caused by a lack of good food, namely
the Word of God. He has gorged himself on things that have no value
nutritionally, such as the things of the world. This in turn leads
to the shoulders hunched forward the the head bowing toward the
earth.
Weakness:
Notice that the arm
on the angel is very thin and has very little muscle. Simply put,
this represents weakness of character and a lack of strength in
spiritual matters. This takes us back to the malnourishment of the
figure caused by not eating of Yahweh's word and eating worldly food
that has no nourishing value.
Loose Garment:
Notice that the
garment has loosened up. It appears that the hand is trying to grasp
the loose end but it cannot grab onto it. The garment is preparing
to fall off so that all will be able to see the shame of the church
of Roswell. It's sins, infidelity and it's overall lack of concern
for Roswell's lost sheep and its lack of concern for the souls of
all of the people in the UFO community will soon be revealed for all
to see.
Gash In The Leg:
The angel has a big
gash in his leg. The legs hold up the body. Simply put, the gash
will cause the angel to fall. The church in Roswell will fall down
because the sin and blatant disregard of others has cracked one of
the two pillars that hold it up.
Scripture For
Roswell - Revelation 3:
1And
unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things
saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven
stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou
livest, and art dead.
2Be
watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are
ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before
God.
3Remember
therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast,
and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come
on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will
come upon thee.
4Thou
hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their
garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are
worthy.
5He
that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment;
and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life,
but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his
angels.
6He
that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto
the churches.
