My Child, what has
happened, what has become of you?
You grew as a tender
young seedling amidst choking thorns and thistles, but I had compassion on
you. I planted you in a fresh field which I Myself had broken up. I nurtured
you and tended to you and you grew into a lovely sapling.
I purposed to move you to
another place, one that was dry and hot; one that is barren and produced no
fruit. I moved you to a land that offered up strange fire and drank strange
water. I told you that I would water you and that my well was available for
your sustenance. I told you to stretch out your roots and to drink from my
well, not the well of others. I warned you about the strange water and you
said that you understood. I told you that your tree had blemishes, and that
if you drank from my well, you would shed those blemishes like all trees
shed their bark.
You prospered as you
drank from my well. Your fruit wasn't fruit that the world would desire, but
your fruit was that of righteousness. But what did my precious tree do; you
stretched your roots down and drank from the strange water. In your heart
you said, "my maker cannot see where I drink, I'll just drink a little at a
time." You grew and you prospered, but not in My prosperity. Your branches
grew thick, but the angle of their growth made them weak. A variety of
birds, both clean and unclean made their nests on your branches;
attracted by your prominence and by the location in which you grew. Your
fruit, once glorious in My eyes has ripened on your tree and the birds eat
of it and become drunk. When the seeds from your fruit fall to the ground
they produce no offspring because I will not allow that to happen.
I have planted other
trees near you to grow alongside of you. I planted them there to offer shade
from the sun and to offer fruit for those who hunger. However, as those
trees tried to grow you overshadowed them and prevented the life giving rays
of the sun from sustaining them. You called to the birds saying, "my fruit
is much better, forsake the other trees." Your roots stretched out and
deprived the other trees of water. You sent out birds of prey to chase off
those seeking the other trees and birds of speech to bear false witness
against my young and tender oaks.
So what shall I do to
this rebellious tree; what shall I do this this vine that has grown wild? I
will dig around this tree and will cut its roots one by one. Behold, my axe
is already at the roots, ready to sever them, each with a swift blow of my
axe. I will send a mighty wind to blow on you and easy will be your fall.
The birds will scatter and find other places to roost, as birds so often do.
The once mighty tree will be a place for the scorpion to reside in and the
snake to live under. I will raise up other trees who will be able to
accomplish my will and who will not forget me. They will honor me with their
lives as well as their words because their words will be MY words and not
that of another.
But if you repent; if you
humbly come to me, with a broken and contrite heart I will not forget you. I
will cause one seed to fall from you and it will produce and grow into yet
another tree; but not with the prominence that you formally had. You will be
a tree whose roots will join with the roots of the other trees and you will
all support each other; which is what I've always intended.
Make no mistake my son,
all that is written will soon happen. Do not say in your heart, "look how I
prosper, this surely cannot be the Lord who says these things." I am Yahweh.
I raise up and I tear down; I build and I destroy. I spoke all that exists
into existence with just my word. I desire that you would repent, but make
no mistake, I'll work My purpose for the fulfillment of My word and I will
accomplish my Word for the sake of My Kingdom and NO man will impede My
will.
Come Back to Me!
Yahweh Yeshua
