Shalom Everyone. The month of July has come in this year of our Lord 2009 and with that month comes Independence Day here in the States. If things keep spiraling down the drain in our society here in the USA it could possibly be our last Independence Day. In keeping with my usual self I propose that we in the Christian Faith and who are born again, take this same day, July 4th and proclaim it as Dependence Day. By that I mean that we should all learn to depend on Yahweh and not on ourselves and certainly not on our corrupt government or its leaders. Now that is food for thought.
NEW DEPTHS IN HATRED – CITING THE TALMUD TO SPREAD HATE
Late in June a friend named Jim Cunningham, who is the administrator of a website called “The Strong Delusion,” wrote a letter to me about a website that cited different writings from the Talmud that appear to be anti-Christian and also cite some of the old Rabbi’s thoughts about Yeshua, which I will agree are offensive in nature. Jim had been sent a letter from another friend who had questions about the Talmud. The page in question is on a site that writes about revisionist history and the article in question takes supposed writings from the Talmud and uses them in an attempt to show that Jews are the worst racists of all time.
First of all, where the Talmud is concerned, I do not condone its pages or it writings or its writers. The only true law is in the Law of Moshe (Moses) but the Jewish people since the time of the sacking of Jerusalem and the death of Mashiach Yeshua (Jesus Christ) have been faced with a dilemma. That dilemma is how to still be a Jew while at the same time not being able to completely follow the Law of Moshe. There are things that were prescribed in the Law of Moshe (such as sacrifice) that could no longer be practiced after the destruction of the Temple on Mount Moriah.
The problem is that my Jewish brothers don’t recognize that Elohim sent Yeshua to earth, not only to be a great teacher, but also to be the atoning sacrifice once and for all. It is because of this that Yahweh destroyed the Temple in 70 AD and started the Diaspora that same year, completing the Diaspora in 135 after the Bar-Kochba rebellion was crushed by the Romans. Having no Temple and then no Jerusalem or Land of Israel threw the Jewish people into a sense of confusion and many were leaving the faith to follow Yeshua. The Jewish authorities had to do something about this. They had to codify a new way to worship and keep their religion from fading into obscurity forever. Sacrifice was replaced with doing good deeds and prayer. If you look at what many call Modern Christianity there is really quite a parallel. Many of the mainline churches have walked away from the true Gospel of Yeshua and now they practice a lukewarm faith if they have any faith whatsoever. Because of this many so called “churches” allow homosexuality into their churches. They allow worldly customs to run rampant within the church and there are many people who call themselves Christians, but they deny the basic tenants of the Christian faith; even the Trinity or the divinity of Yeshua. They in effect have codified new rules; written a Talmud of sorts for their service toward Yahweh. I have found that these are the churches who for the most part have found it easy to be critical of Jews and their beliefs. They are the ones who are Replacement Theologians. They however aren’t the only depository of this heresy and each year this movement gains more ground in more churches.
As for the writings on that web page that Jim presented, that looked like hate speech, let’s address that issue. There are some very harsh things mentioned in the Talmud concerning Gentiles. Again, being a born again believer in Yeshua I cannot condone these things because I see the world through Yeshua’s eyes, seeing all unbelievers as unregenerated sons on the path to hell. I also see them as a mission field and feel led to call them to repentance. But I think that through an analogy one might understand the Jewish psyche in this matter. As a matter of fact, I feel that many Americans will come to see this sort of thing very soon. We as Americans have been a very privileged people. We were a Christian nation for many years and we have left God. Doesn’t this sound like Israel’s way too? Anyway, one morning we wake up and find Chinese troops on each corner, heavily armed and with a rabid hatred of Americans. They ship us all off to China to be slaves and we’re there for 400 years. Finally Yahweh hears our cry for help and leads us all back to the States. We become rebellious again and then the Russians come and take us over and ship most of us back to Russia to be slaves. Europe attacks Russia and we find that the Europeans let us return to the States but make us subservient to them. This happens time and time again, then finally the Moslem world comes and conquers us. They put us under their heavy hand and we rebel once, causing them to disperse us throughout the Muslim world and after another revolt we’re all sent to the Muslim world to be slaves. We try to exist from year to year; from century to century and Yahweh allows us not to be erased as a people. However, from time to time our populations are massacred, our women are raped and our possessions are forcefully taken from us. We’re banished from one nation after another and finally two thirds of us are exterminated by a fierce Muslim dictator. The world vanquishes the Muslims and we are set free and given a land in which to live; the land of our ancestors. However after just a few decades the people who still hate Americans manage to convince the world that our massacre never happened and that we’re the authors of a conspiracy to take over the world. Every ill that happens to the world is blamed on Americans and some people still want to exterminate us.
But remember one thing. In our minds we were privileged because we are Americans and because of that we are set apart in Yahweh’s eyes. We feel that because we are special to Yahweh we cannot do wrong in His eyes, so any of the nations who have attacked us or persecuted us or killed us are evil, diabolical and there is no good that can come from them. To us, all of their children are evil from birth because they will grow up to be our persecutors. When we have our own communities and any non-American wants to deal with us then will have to deal by our terms. There will be a distrust of non-Americans that won’t just be a couple of generations deep, but hundreds of generations deep; something that is very hard to erase, especially without the regeneration that comes by the blood of Yeshua. There are so many people who feel that Jews should act in accordance with the Gospel, turning the other cheek for instance. They forget that Mosaic Law dictates an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth; and when we don’t see Jews fitting into our mold then they are rebellious, people to be reviled because they can’t conform to Christian thinking. Well, we could sit down for a couple of weeks and cite instances where Christians didn’t fit into the Christian mold, yet they are somehow forgiven by Christian society and then welcomed back into the Christian fold. If this isn’t hypocrisy then nothing is. When America goes through its persecution we will see who lives by the Gospel of Yeshua and who lives by the Law of Moshe.
The page about the Talmud that was forwarded to me also had many Talmudic writings concerning the person of Yeshua; many of them not nice. We do not deny that some of the Jewish sages had a deeply rooted problem with Yeshua. What always amazes me is that many other religions have a problem with Yeshua too. The Koran denies Yeshua’s divinity; says that he didn’t die on the cross and a few other things. The Talmud says these things too; yet those who decry the words of the Talmud don’t decry the words of the Koran. The Koran teaches that Christians and Jews are evil and that they are infidels. It teaches that infidels should be killed. Yet, this book, the guide book for what many ignoramus’ call “The Religion of Peace,” was never taken to task for its hatred until the planes struck the World Trade Center and brought the “Koran = Hate” notion to our home soil. Even with all of that we are still indoctrinated not to judge the adherents of the Koran as haters but to take each one on an individual basis. However, every Jew alive is being characterized by the article on the Talmud and nobody rises up to say anything in the Jews’ defense, at least until now that is.
The Jehovah Witnesses deny the divinity of Yeshua and call the Holy Spirit an “it” and not a person; but they’re for the most part considered just a group of Christians who have been led astray. They’re laughed about and made the butt of many jokes and the only ones really laughing are the Witnesses whose message sends scores of people to hell every day. The Mormons believe that Yeshua and Satan are brothers, that God is flesh and blood and lives on some planet out in the galaxy; yet this blasphemy isn’t treated with the venomous attention that the Jews get for their beliefs. Why is there such an air of hatred of Israel coming those who call themselves Christians? I think that this can be summed up in the story of the Prodigal Son.
In the story of the Prodigal Son Yeshua tells about a rich man who has two sons. The younger son tires of his work and he wants to get his inheritance early so that he can to out into the world and become his own man. His father complies and gives him the money. While out in the world he falls in with unwholesome people and spends all of his money and in the end he finds himself working on a pig farm eating the same food as the pigs. He remembers his father and then travels home to beg his father’s pardon, going so far as to consider asking his father if he could become his father’s slave. He knows that his inheritance is spent and that he has nothing left. His father receives him back, kills a fatted calf as a sacrifice and puts his best robe on his son. The older son comes in from the field and sees the party and asks what is happening. When he finds out that the younger brother has returned and realizes that the party is for a brother that spent his inheritance and has not worked for all that the family has; he becomes jealous and refuses to join the party. The father talks to the older son and tells him that this son will get all that the father owns, but the party is because the son that had walked away and who was thought for dead had returned.
Now look at it from and Israel and Church scenario. Israel is the younger son that walked away. He figured that he had done enough work and didn’t want to participate with the better thing (Yeshua) that the father had. Paul tells us that a blindness came over Israel where Yeshua was concerned. Paul called it a “partial blindness.” He mentioned that the blindness would persist until “the fullness of the Gentiles would come in.” This clearly says that the time of the Gentiles will come to an end and it implies that at that time that the blindness of Israel will be lifted and He will be able to see again. Look at that blindness as being the time when the Prodigal Son went out and had fun with the world. Look at the removal of the blindness being removed as the time when Israel comes to know Yeshua as their Mashiach; their King and their redeemer. The Church’s attitude of hatred toward Israel is akin to the older son being mad and jealous about the father throwing a party for the younger son. Many in the Church feel that gentiles have done all of the work to make the church what it is today. They feel that the Jews have been cast away as lost. Remember that the father of the younger son thought that his son was dead, never to return. I feel that the jealousy of the gentiles within the Church is because they know (probably deep down) that when Israel comes to faith in Yeshua they will be received like the younger son was in the story of the Prodigal Son. I feel that our father will have to explain to the Church at that time the same that the father of the Prodigal Son had to explain to the older son; that the son thought to be dead has returned and is alive.
This sort of petty jealousy has been with mankind ever since the creation of our species by Yahweh way back in the Garden of Eden. Cain was jealous of Abel so he slew him and received the penalty for his grievous act. Many centuries later Abraham brought forth two sons into the world; the second one being the son of promise. Because of this jealousy we have had cousins at each others’ throats for millennia. Later Yitzak and Rebecca brought forth two sons, the younger being the son of promise. Even Herod felt a jealousy when his learned men told him that the star that shone over Bethlehem announced the coming of the King of The Jews.
This jealousy has brought forth a heresy called Replacement Theology. In an attempt to null and void Yahweh’s promises to the physical descendants of Abraham, Yitzak and Yakov some who call themselves Christians have devised a plan to write off the sons of Yakov. It’s simple really; you just take the physical promises of Yahweh for Israel and you spiritualize all of them. If however any of the promises fits too well into the physical Israel scenario they just explain them away with some of the most incredibly inane excuses.
One of the favorite theories that this sort of people bring into the spotlight is that the Throne of King David has had a living person on it and still does even to this day. They use the following scripture to back up their points:
“For thus says the LORD: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;…. Jeremiah 33:17 NKJV
Using this scripture, the proponents of Replacement Theology have devised quite a story that could be made into quite a spellbound movie should they desire, even if it is fantasy in our modern world. Their theory states that when the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel were taken by the Assyrian people as slaves that they assimilated with these people who later migrated into what is now called Europe through what is today known as southern Russia. There, David’s descendants traveled through that continent until they finally reached England or Ireland, depending on whether you’re talking to someone Irish or English. Later this lineage became the Kings of England and now it rests in the House of Windsor, or frankly, with Queen Elizabeth.
There are several problems with this. First, nobody can trace things back to King David. Second we have a big problem in that Queen Elizabeth, and the other queens who ruled before her are WOMEN, and the prophecy specifically says that there shall be a MAN on the throne. Third, this notion takes Yeshua off of a throne that only He has the right to sit on and scripture proves that He sits on it today:
Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:30-33 NKJV
So this presents the Replacement Theologians with a very serious dilemma. The angel that was sent by Yahweh announced to Miriam that she was with child and his announcement became reality around nine months later when she gave birth to Yeshua. The angel told Miriam that her child would be Son of the Highest, meaning El Elyon. But then the angel tells Miriam that Yeshua would have the throne of David. Well, that seems to blow some manmade theories right out of the water.
Other things must be considered too. If we are to spiritualize all of scripture in order to make it fit into the Replacement Theorist’s point of view then we have to spiritualize everything. It cannot be both ways. We are told that in the end all of Israel will be saved. If we are to spiritualize everything then this salvation would have to be a spiritual salvation, not a saving as in physically saving a man or a people. If all of the references to Israel in the prophetical scripture are talking about a spiritual Israel then them must be talking about the Church of Jesus Christ. But we are faced with one big problem here. According to scripture people become part of the Church of Jesus Christ when they have received that salvation through the blood of Yeshua. Our King Yeshua talked to Nicodemus about the Born Again life in which men are born not of only of the flesh, but of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) also. Therefore Christians become saved from sin and the second death by their spiritual rebirth in Yeshua.
This presents yet another dilemma to the replacement theologians. If the Church is the Spiritual Israel and they replace Israel as the Apple of Yahweh’s Eye then they are saved. But Yeshua is coming back to “redeem” Israel. If what the replacement people assert is true then the return of Yeshua is going to happen in order to redeem people who rightly should consider themselves redeemed already. The word “redeem” means to buy back something or someone. Are we to believe that the replacement people think that they have to be bought back a second time, or every worse do they believe that they haven’t been redeemed to begin with? It makes absolutely no sense to live a Christian life and not feel like one has been redeemed by the blood of Yeshua. Can you see how ludicrous this whole thought of replacement theology sounds when you sit down and prayerfully consider the foundation of sand that it is built on? Perhaps those who hold to the replacement theology theory are showing us their cards and they aren’t really saved to begin with.
We mentioned above that those who hold to replacement theology tend to build their theory upon one scripture; the one that states that David will never cease to have progeny sitting on his throne. The problem is that those who hold to this theory never mention the scripture that immediately follows their foundational scripture. This scripture says that Yahweh is promising that there will always be a priest who will offer sacrifices and that this man will do so continually.
nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.” Jeremiah 33:17
The Torah says that there is only one place that sacrifices can be performed, and that was either in the Tabernacle or in the Temple of Elohim. Since the destruction of the Beit Ha Mikdash by the Romans in 70 A.D. there has been no place to perform such a deed. There is no place for the Jewish people to offer animals to atone for their sins and the priests and Levites haven’t done their job in almost two millennia. How come we have to believe the first part of the scripture according to the replacement people but we can ignore the second part? The truth is that we have to take one with the other; they are a package deal.
If we let spiritual sanity prevail we can see that Yeshua fulfills that job description too. In the Book of Hebrews, the Apostle Paul writes to the Jewish believers in Yeshua, and also any Jew who will listen, and he explains that Yeshua fulfills the high priests office, and he does so forever:
But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:11-14 NKJV
There is so much more that can be said in order to show the fallacy of the replacement theology theory. We’ve posted other articles on the Delusion Resistance website that shows those fallacies and you can go there to read them at your leisure.
What we have tried to show in this month’s newsletter is that people will spare no expense or time in coming up with things to make the Jewish people look like the villains of this world. Many times these things are perpetuated by Muslims and other well established haters of Jews. The very sad thing is when Christians, or those who consider themselves to be Christians go through such strenuous efforts to do to the Jewish people what pagans and evil religions have done for so many years. In these last days, when those who call themselves believers in Yeshua are turning to so many things in this world instead of clinging to their faith (or their feigned faith) in Yeshua, this sort of thing isn’t really surprising. However, one can only close their eyes and imagine the sad look that Yeshua has on His face when He sees His grafted in branches treating the root stock like it has no further use. Imagine a fruit tree cutting its own roots and then wondering why the whole tree is dying, or worse yet, thinking that it is thriving when it has cut the very foundation away from which it is built. That is what replacement theologians do, and in my estimation and in that of Yahweh, it is one of the stupidest things that anyone can do.
So as to the article in the webpage that was forwarded to me what shall we say? It is obviously an article that has been written by a person who wants to smear the Jewish people once again. It is one of the worse cases of transference that I have seen in quite some time. The article mentions that it has been highjacked and has been used by neo-Nazi groups in an attempt at defamation against all of the Jewish people. The Talmud is a commentary on the Bible and also the foundation of Jewish tradition. Hundreds of commentators have existed down through the centuries of Christiandom and not one of them has had the support of every Christian that has read them. Commentaries are opinions that are written by scholars and should be treated as such.
The Nazi and neo-Nazi purveyors of hate have written thousands of books and articles based on their opinions and for the most part their writings are ignored because of their content. Adolph Hitler’s “Mein Kamp” is a great example of hatred commentary but we dare not equate it to be the opinion of every German person alive now or who has ever lived. The Talmud is only the opinion of a few people who have lived over the years and it is not the opinion of Jews in general. Soon Israel will come under attack by the nations of the earth and Yahweh will fight for him and will be victorious. At that time many of the Jews of the world will turn back to the Torah and will use it as a guide, rather than the Talmud. When the Torah is again the basis for Jewish life and society then the stage will be set for their blindness to be removed from them and they will see Yeshua. At that time all of those who thought Israel to be forgotten and rejected of Elohim will have to admit that they were wrong, at least those who are honest people.
While it is possible that we will never be able to help the neo-Nazis, Muslims and other spreaders of hate to see things through sane eyes we have to help the Church to rightly judge between truth and lies. Many times things like replacement theology are believed by good Christians because of the three bad boys of sin in this life; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life. These things are prevalent in all people because of natural sin. The Christian; that is the person who has come to faith by being born again in the Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) is not a mere human anymore, but as Scripture puts it, we are new creatures. We’re not supposed to believe things simply because we heard those things from a man. We’re supposed to check everything with scripture and we’re supposed to verify every scripture with other scriptures in the Bible that verify the verification. Good teachers of Yahweh’s Word will encourage their readers to check their teachings with scripture. The Ruach Ha Kodesh teaches us when we read the Bible and He verifies what is right and tells us what is wrong. To approach Yahweh Word (the Bible) from any other perspective is spiritual suicide and will only lead people to believe lies like the one that is called Replacement Theology and to live lives of hatred and scorn, which always result from hatred of the physical sons of Israel; the physical seed of Abraham and the Apple of Yahweh’s Eye.
WHAT WILL COME OUT OF ROSWELL IN 2009
This is a great question and frankly, only Yahweh knows the answer to it. We can draw some good conclusions though from seeing what has happened in the past. The word that Yahweh gave to me that warned that Christians should be very careful if they go to Roswell this year is no laughing matter. If people go down there and they are not walking right with Yahweh Yeshua there is a very good chance that their awkward walk will be an open door that will allow all sort of things to attach onto them; and these things aren’t good.
If one has been to Roswell and they have been given any sort of spiritual discernment from the Ruach Ha Kodesh they know that it is a very dark place, spiritually speaking. Several people from my church journeyed down to Roswell back in 2007 and a variety of things happened to them. One teenage girl, the daughter of one of a woman who was an elder of our fellowship was particularly affected by the things that she saw down in Roswell. We stayed with a wonderful couple who had moved to Roswell from California. They had admitted that they previously had problems with noises in the house that were not of a natural source. The teenage girl was given a room of her own to sleep but she got very little sleep there. She lay awake all night hearing noises and seeing shadows in the room. On a trip out to the country one night to look at the beautiful stars in the night sky the girl abruptly asked if we could leave. When I asked her why she told me that she had seen what looked like an evil troll walk behind me and when she turned around the other way she saw a shadowy figure that she said looked like the modern rendition of the angel of death. I think that she was quite relieved when she left to return to California.
The thing that convinced me that people can change when they go to Roswell happened that same year. All told, three elders from our church went to Roswell that year. All three of these people were quite prideful in character; spiritually snooty if you can imagine that. One once told me that she felt bad for me because I wasn’t as “spiritual” as she was. This is the sort of character that all three possessed. After they returned from Roswell it was as if their inner corruptness came to the surface. All four so called “prophets” of the church (the three that went to Roswell and the husband of one woman who went there) mounted what can only be described as a coup d’état against our pastor and they tried to take over the church. When they saw that this plan would not work they stood up in front of the church and proclaimed that God was calling the prophets out of our fellowship. Those of us who have prophetic gifts in our fellowship were quite amused at this prideful power-play and took a “don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya,” look at all of their folly. The thing is that they went down to Roswell with an ungodly covert attitude and came back overtly ungodly. This was good for our little fellowship because it in effect allowed Yahweh to do a housecleaning that was probably long overdue.
Now some might think that by saying these things that I appear to be self righteous or that I appear to have my act together. Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion; but let me explain myself and some others a little bit. Simply put, I have battled the enemy just about all of my life as a believer in Yeshua. I know what I am up against and I know that in my own strength the forces of darkness could chew me up and spit me out and not have to look back. I know about the weapons that are given to me as a Son of God and I know how to use them, but I would be foolish to think that I could run up to the front line and fight the battle without Yeshua standing at my flank. Yahweh has, and still does from time to time teach me humility and he has brought me low so that I can have a contrite heart. He’s allowed me to see what happens to others when they battle and they are not in His Will. My dad always told me that it was a wise man that learned from his mistake but an even wiser man that learns from the mistakes of others and I have heeded his instructions. I’ve watched people fight the unseen enemy out of their own strength, charging the enemy like Teddy Roosevelt running up San Juan Hill, but when they returned they were naked and without armor or sword because their pride got in their way. I will not be like this. So if some label me as self righteous or as having my act together it is only because I’ve seen others do things the wrong way, full of pride and self esteem and I’ve watched them fail. I’d rather be humble and contrite and allow my King to be the tactician of this war and let Him direct me as when it comes to where to go, when to fight and who to fight.
So, what will come out of Roswell in 2009? There will be those who will see Roswell for what it is and they will go in praying and humbly asking Yahweh for his direction. They will get to see the enemy, will get to see his tactics and they will come out knowing how to fight and when to fight because they went into battle ready and listening for the King’s voice.
There will be those who live in Roswell who have not compromised and have not soiled their garments with pride, lust and friendship with this world. They will remain there to fight the beast and they will be victorious. Their victory will not be without a price, but when the smoke and the tumult of the battle is over they will stand with Yeshua and they will feel the satisfaction that obedience brings.
There will be those who will come out of Roswell with their miserable conditions multiplied tenfold. Rebellion, disobedience, lust, pridefulness, and all manner of sin that lay inside them when they went to Roswell will be their clothing when they leave Roswell. It will be like they were a lump of dough when they went there and they will be filled with leaven and risen many times over. Unfortunately many of them will be in such a bad state that they will not even consider repenting and being healed. Their pride will consume them with unquenchable fire.
Those who live in Roswell and who have compromised with this world; those who have washed the outside of their tombs but are filled with dead men’s bones will finally reap their reward. They will fall away altogether and will not return. Many will fall sick and some will even die of their sickness. All of these things will come about so that many will know that Yeshua is Yahweh. The Church will know that Yeshua will no longer tolerate a whoring bride and that He is removing the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares, the stain of sin from His Precious Bride. For many years the enemy has used Roswell for his benefit, but Yahweh will use Roswell to show the world His holiness and His righteousness and that His will is done on earth as it is in Heaven.
REMNANT CALL NEWS
Things with the Remnant Call chatroom continue to get better and better. Lourdes and I never cease to be amazed at what happens in the room. The core group continues to expand little by little and new people pop in and out all of the time.
Sometimes the room can be discouraging, but Yahweh always turns things around to assure us that He is in full control. Jim and I alternate teaching nights which takes the stress off of each of us. Often the movies that Jim has uploaded just seem to disappear and that could be discouraging but we just plug along.
One thing that is sometimes discouraging is that people don’t use the room as an open forum to discuss the things that we have just taught. One day it hit me why this was happening. We have often told those in the room that we appreciate it if they didn’t chat during our teaching times. We have explained that the room on Thursday nights is more akin to a church and it is sort of rude to talk during the teaching and that we know they wouldn’t do so in a church. Well this sort of backfired on us because if it is akin to a church then nobody wants to interface because this is not done in a church at all. On Sunday you go to church, listen to the sermon and then go home. This is a little thing in the grand scheme of things and we are not discouraged.
We still get antagonists from time to time; mostly people who hate Israel or the Jews and sometimes we get Judaizers who complain that the name of Jesus is pagan and that we must use Yeshua when we address the King of Kings. Both groups come in like roaring lions and that is what tips us off that these people aren’t walking with Yeshua; there is very little if any love in their presentation of what they believe. Occasionally we get a hit and run from a Satanist or someone who want to promote pornography, but that it the problem with having an open format. We always have it that when one is talking the other is watching for the troublemakers and we’re quick to dispatch them, or at least to ban them from entering the room anymore. When I am absent my wife moderates for me and she does a wonderful job of bouncing those who don’t deserve to be in our room.
COULD THERE BE RADIO IN OUR FUTURE?
Jim and I have been talking about the idea of possibly starting a blogtalk radio station that will air for an hour or two one night a week. I got the idea a week ago when Jim and I were talking about the fact that shows like “Coast to Coast Am,” and others ignore us when we try to get them to listen to what we have to present. So what do you do when the media won’t broadcast something that you know that the world needs to know? Well, you get your own radio station and you broadcast.
This idea is still in its infancy and there still needs to be a lot of prayer about it and of course the “okay” from Yahweh Yeshua. We learned a long time ago that starting anything without the express permission of Yahweh is doomed to failure; or at the very least it will prosper but without His blessings, and we just cannot have either scenario. So if you would keep this in prayer we will thank you very much.
PRAYERS AND OTHER STUFF
Please pray for Catherine out in Florida. Her husband lost his job a few weeks back and he is having a very hard time finding anything in his field of work. They’ve got a lot of old medical bills that they owe and lots of other things that need financial tending to.
Please pray for Lourdes who continues to be in a lot of pain due to her hypothyroid condition. And please pray for me because my Achilles is taking a very long time to heal. Thanks.
Please pray for Jim Wilhelmsen who is going to Nigeria and Mali in October. He needs shots in order to go there and some of them are expensive. Please pray that they receive a financial blessing too.
Please pray for a brother named John. He is married and they have ten kids and things are getting tight for them. We can only imagine I think. He lost his job, lives in the Detroit area and there is no work to be found.
I think that we all need to pray for financial blessings for Yahweh’s people; that we are all continually gainfully employed and prospering in all of the things that a child of a King should have.
I also think that it is a wise idea to take 2 Chronicles 7:14 very seriously:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Please understand that I am not labeling anyone reading this as being wicked. But what if you or I or anyone did have wickedness and we didn’t even know that we had it? Perhaps we all need to ask Yahweh for wisdom in this matter and ask Him to reveal any wickedness, secret sin, or sin unaware in our lives. It is very hard to see my homeland (the USA) falling into judgment and having a wicked president put over us as an instrument of that judgment. I’m sure that those of you living in other nations need to pray this too, because all nations are sliding down the slippery slope of sin and abomination, and Yahweh has to judge those things.
IN CLOSING:
In closing we want to wish all of our co-ministers, co-counselors and everyone that read this letter a happy, safe and blessed 4th of July Holiday; it could quite possibly be our last one for a while or forever.
And finally, we leave you with these words from the Apostle Paul:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
