AUGUST 2009 AV/ELUL 5769
Greetings Everyone! Can you believe that it is August already? I was always told by my parents that as I got older that time would seem to go by much faster. Of course this is when I was a young man and these things were told to me by adults that earlier in my life tried to convince me that there was a Santa Claus and Easter Bunny. After they instilled these things into my mind they then told me that they had in fact lied to me, so their “fast time” theory remained a doubtful theory until I got older and realized that they had in fact told me the truth; along with many other truths, and a few misconceptions. Perhaps they were on to something that they really didn’t know or perhaps they sensed something that was unseen yet perceived in the spirit. Perhaps time is like the water that circles in a whirlpool spinning slow at the outside but progressing in speed as an object moves closer to the center. I guess that we’ll find out these things when we get to heaven; but maybe when we get there it will be trivial and unimportant compared to the Beauty of Majesty that is Yeshua.
A HEARTFELT APOLOGY I’ve been a history buff for most of my life. While in school I looked forward to history class while most others craved to be on the sports field or in wood or metal shop. I liked those other things, but for some reason history always seemed to quench my thirst for knowledge. As we are all aware of the adage of George Santayana who said; “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” If one can remember this adage and also the one that my dad would quote often, “it is a wise man that learns from his mistakes, but an even wiser man that learns from the mistakes of others,” then the process of life is much easier to bear. Of course these things are only rudimentary things that the Ruach Ha Kodesh uses to keep us out of trouble; but the study of the mistakes made by others is the duty of the individual whom the Ruach works through. The Holy Scriptures are replete with accounts of people that didn’t remember the mistakes made by others in the past. Just a scant few generations from Noah his progeny started to make the same mistakes that were made before the flood and the same mistakes that had caused Yahweh to destroy this same world with a worldwide flood. Yahweh had to intervene again, confusing the tongues of mankind and forcing them to relocate in other parts of the world. Some might argue that this was in the gene pool of mankind and that rebellion is an inherent ill of mankind, but the history lesson which was the flood was all around people for them to see and the stories were there for them to hear, but nobody listened. I see this in today’s world with the younger generation; just like my dad saw it with our generation. We see the mistakes and we have heard about the mistakes of our fathers, but for some reason we feel that we can live in rebellion and not make those mistakes or at very least that we will somehow be able to handle the consequences of those mistakes better than our ancestors did. If that is not foolishness, than there is no foolishness. I don’t want to make it sound like people my age were totally rebellious to our elders. We obeyed in many things, and compared to the current generations it appears that we had pretty good heads on our shoulders after all. Take for instance my paternal grandfather whose name was John. He was a good man and from what I can tell, he was a pretty righteous man. He loved his grandkids and he had a real heart for his grandsons. My cousin Larry and I lived on his property with our families and Larry and I would visit our grandparents very often. For a period of time before we were born our grandfather was the health inspector for our little town. He saw many different health problems, including those brought on by sexual mispractices. It seemed that every time we were in grandpa’s company he would tell us to be careful about the women that we dated; telling us that there were many women who slept with a variety of men and that these women carried around diseases that could make us ill or even kill us. In his own way he was telling us that if someone was too good to be true then they probably were and we needed to be careful and rightly divide the truth from what was not true. He emphasized that we needed to thoughtfully look for someone, not just jumping from bed to bed until we found the person that would satisfy us sexually; but that we looked for our true soul mate, and that a good relationship was built on many other things first, with sex being an added bonus on top of other things.Grandpa had in effect told me about the mistakes that many others had made and wanted to keep us from making those mistakes. It worked too because I took what he told me and developed a litmus test for those that I dated and frankly, every woman that I ever dated before my wife had failed that test pretty much right from the start. During those early years, before I met Yeshua I was on a road to hell. It is true that when a person is on the road to hell that Satan will make all of the traffic lights green; but what my grandfather did was give me the sense to slow down at all of the intersections to look for cross traffic and that kept me safe until Yeshua saved me and put me on the narrow path to His Glorious Kingdom. Now my grandfather, while he was pretty righteous wasn’t perfect. He had a great indignation toward the French people. As far as he was concerned, they were sexually immoral and were to blame for some of those practices being brought to the United States. He also saw them as arrogant and unthankful for the help that we had given them, twice in one century when they were overrun by the Germans. In his opinion their attitude toward us, especially after the blood of so many Americans was spilled on their soil in order to make them free, was inexcusable. This attitude was not unique to my grandfather and many of his generation, my dad’s generation and even our generation feel the same way. I have to admit that I’ve never had a great love for those in the Nation of France either and I see the same things that my grandfather did, but in our day and age a vast majority of this world wears the same mask so I cannot rightly single out the French or any other nation where iniquity is concerned. Looking at the world through Yeshua’s eyes makes us see things differently than most people see them. This week, as the Fourth of July was approaching I was thinking about our nation. I was asking Yahweh if this would be the last Fourth that we would spend as a relatively free people. Will we be in railcars next July being taken to concentration camps? Will Mr. Obama have fully implemented his plan and will the America we love so dearly be destroyed by him? Will the forces that have always wanted to destroy freedom finally succeed? I think that these questions have been on the minds of just about every American that retains the ability to think without the constraints of the presupposed voices coming from the government reeducational media. In other words, in the minds of those who won’t be dictated to by those who claim to broadcast the truth but are really a den of vipers that daily pump their venom into the veins of those who trust those in authority. On the Fourth I sat at our computer preparing to burn a disk of different patriotic marches so that we could listen to them on the way to our friends’ house south of Sacramento. I sat there listening to marches like Semper Fidelis; American Patrol; Stars and Stripes Forever; National Emblem; and El Capitan to name a few. As I listened a stream of tears came to my eyes. I thought about my dad who had seen action in Korea. I thought about how he had been in the US Army Band and how he played these marches in his units. I thought about how he used to tell us about the greatness of our nation and how it stood for freedom and liberty; and how he delighted to hear these marches. I thought about all of my ancestors who immigrated to America with the promise of freedom. I thought about how hard they worked to become a part of America and how they wanted to see this nation grow in addition to seeing their family prosper. I thought about all of the men who fought in all of the wars under the American Standard and how much blood was shed for the freedom that we have enjoyed for so many years. But then a different feeling came over me. A feeling that someone gets when they have a loved one in the hospital and that loved one is approaching death’s door. It is a feeling of hopeless; like that loved one will soon be gone and will never be seen again. It drudged up feelings that I had when my own dad was dying in the hospital ten years ago this month. As the music played I felt it hard to hold back my tears, my body convulsing in waves of emotion. It was then that Lourdes put her arms around me and the floodgates of tears and wails came forth. I told her that I was in mourning because my country is dying; its very life’s breath being extinguished by the specter of a vampire called communism that is sweeping the land under the leadership of Barack Hussein Obama. As I listened to “Stars and Stripes Forever,” I remembered Mrs. O’Neil who taught us that song in second grade so many years ago in Franklin School. And as I listened to “The Star Spangled Banner,” I remembered Mr. Sneden who taught us the words in fourth grade in Dover School. All of these people who loved their country so much and saw it as a gift from Yahweh, who probably died in the freedom that they trusted in and lived, and who would miss out on this historic moment when their nation would breathe its last breath. I tried to console myself by telling myself that our nation is under judgment. I tried to take away the sting by reminding myself that America is most probably Babylon and it has to be destroyed in order for prophecy to be fulfilled. Babylon in the end times will consist of two Babylon’s, one being a physical Babylon and the other being a spiritual Babylon, the great whore mentioned in Revelation. I could not however be consoled by thinking of these things.I wondered if it was okay to mourn over Babylon and it’s destruction but then it struck me that this nation was probably not always Babylon in Yahweh’s eyes. Just like so many people and peoples had been favored by Yahweh in the pages of the Bible and had fallen away, our nation could be no different. Jeremiah wept over fallen Israel and Judah both of whom had been favored by Yahweh but had fallen away. They both had been compared to Egypt, Sodom and other places that had been in defiance to Yahweh so it could be okay in Yahweh’s eyes to mourn over our once great nation that had left its Judeo/Christian roots in favor of the Babylon system. The blessings of Deuteronomy 28 which we have enjoyed for two centuries will turn into the curses of that same chapter because America, the nation that once called upon Yahweh has decided to walk away from Yahweh and serve other gods.During my time of intense mourning for our nation Yahweh reminded me of another man who mourned about his nation being taken away from him. This man was a French man who was photographed in 1940 when the German army was marching into Paris. This man, who is nameless, expressed in his tears the anguish that he felt at the start of Frances’ occupation by the Germans. The thing is that I have known about that picture for many years. I had been critical about this man in the past, showing really no pity for his tears because France before World War Two had become such a debase nation; full of lasciviousness and moral corruption. In the past I saw this man as one of the weak ones, a person who was crying because his nation lost its liberty although it deserved all that it got from the Germans because of its sins. Little did I ever realize that I would one day shed tears of mourning for America because it was suffering the same fate. For this reason I feel that it is necessary to say something that comes from a broken and contrite heart. Although the man in the picture is most probably dead, it would be wrong of me to continue this letter, and even my ministry without apologizing to this wonderful patriot of the French Republic. I now know the sorrow and the mourning that comes from deep within my heart for the loss of a land that is dear to me. I apologize to all true Christians in France who saw the loss of their beloved nation many years ago; a nation that was conquered by the Nazis and never recovered any of its Christian heritage. Please forgive me brothers, and please pray for your American brothers in Messiah because now we have been vanquished by communism under the banner of Barack Hussein Obama.I am sure that there will be some Christians who will read this who will rebuke me for mourning for our nation, a worldly institution that because it was worldly was destined to fail. They might deride me and say that I am worldly and that I’m certainly not walking in the Ruach Ha Kodesh. Well, to be frank, if I were to worry about every time a so called believer in Yeshua cast dispersion upon me or the ministry that I have been given then I would have died long ago from stress or the physical effects that stress brings upon a person. No, we’ll always have people who say that they represent Messiah; who speak before they pray and meditate upon what their flesh lashes out against and I have withstood those sorts of people many times with the help and comfort of the Ruach Ha Kodesh. While I really do not revere this nation nor do I condone the sins that we as a people have committed against El Shaddai, I cannot help but to identify with my people, the American people. We as Christians are called out to be a Holy People; a people set apart from this world and the institutions thereof, but while our bodies consist of flesh and blood we still grieve when someone close to us passes away. If we have a mother of father or brother that is not a believer and they die, do we not grieve? If the neighbor next door dies suddenly of a heart attack do we not grieve for him and attend to his wife and children? Sure, we do all of those things. The physical land that America consists of is not a person that we should mourn for it, but those who live next to us, on our street, in our town and all across our nation are people, and they make up what America really is. All of us had relatives that died fighting for the America that once trusted in Yahweh. We all had relatives that came to this nation to be free and thankfully, in the case of me and many others, left our dead religions and came to faith in Yeshua through faith rather than deeds of men. Sure this nation is now corrupt and godless; a simmering cesspool of lies, moral decay; an outright abomination. It is however the land where we grew up, where we learned many valuable lessons and where we came to faith in Yeshua. Given all of this it is not wrong to mourn this once great land. So where do we stand in the death of our nation? What do we do now that all sense of sanity seems to be lost and it took common sense along with it? What do we do now that the curses of Deuteronomy Chapter twenty eight are ever increasing in our nation? Many believers in Yeshua like to cite a scripture in 2 Chronicles to show that if the Church in America repents then Yahweh will relent from his judgment and in effect change His mind. The scripture that is cited is: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 There is no doubt that Yahweh Yeshua has intervened many times in the affairs of His Church and in the nations where members of His Church reside. Instances such as the Reformation; the great revival in England and the Azuza Street Revival; revivals that not only affected their local areas but spread around the world are examples of such interventions within His Church. But do those things apply to the scripture above? Well, in a certain term it can be said that there were changes in the lands where revivals happened but they were not really physical changes in the land as promised in 2 Chronicles, but were spiritual changes within the lives of people which in turn brought about changes in the lands. People like to make a differentiation between Israel and the Church. Many say that Israel is physical and the Church is spiritual, and they are right in that assertion. We should however not limit these two entities into their own realm. For instance, there are many Jews that become believers in Yeshua yet they remain Jews. On the flip side of the coin, there are many people who label themselves as Christians and they are very worldly and not very spiritual. Those who use the scripture in 2 Chronicles to refer to the Church, or true believers in Yeshua who live in a land (a country or province) many times do not place that scripture into a correct context. If one reads the whole chapter they can see that this was the time of the dedication of Solomon’s Temple in Yerushalayim. In the account, Solomon dedicated the Temple which is followed by a seven day feast which is culminated by Yahweh addressing the people while His Shekinah Glory was filling the Temple. He proclaims that He accepts the Temple as His home and tells the people in Yerushalayim that if certain conditions are met by them and continually practiced that He would remain their God and they would remain His People. In the scripture that is directly above the promise that we have seen above Yahweh talks about signs that He will show in order to get His rebellious people to repent. In other words, if the people of Israel noticed the following; If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 2 Chronicles 7:13 Then they would know that they had offended Yahweh and then verse 14 comes into play. The chapter continues by Yahweh again accepting the Temple as the place on Earth where His Ruach would reside. He then reiterates His covenant with Solomon and promises that if Solomon keeps Yahweh’s Commandments then he (Solomon) would keep his kingdom and the people of Israel would live happy and fruitful lives. But Yahweh tells Solomon that if Solomon transgresses the Commandments of Yahweh then He would end the Davidic Kingdom, disperse the people of Israel to other lands and personally tear down the Beit Ha Mikdash (Holy Temple). Again, all of these things speak of blessings for doing well and curses for doing wrongly and they are all directed toward the Jewish people and it deals with the land of Israel, not the Church. So let’s look at the promise in 2 Chronicles again and see how it doesn’t relate to the Church of Yeshua: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 We should first look at the word “land” in the scripture above. As a believer in Yeshua, where should we consider our “land” to be? The answer to this question is illustrated all throughout the Brit Hadasha (New Testament). The body that we possess is only temporary and will be replaced with our real bodies:
In a discourse to the disciples, Yeshua says that we are not residents of this world: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. John 15:19 Yeshua reiterates this yet again in a prayer to Aveinu. This places quite an importance on this fact: I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. John 17:14 Paul calls us “ambassadors.” Ambassadors are sent to other lands and never minister to their own land; thus we are not residents of this world: Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20 He has given us the offices of kings and priests, not in this world but in the world to come: And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Revelation 1:6 The Apostle Peter tells us that we are chosen, not for this world, but for the Kingdom of God that is our real home. We’re peculiar (called out and sanctified). Peter shores up this idea by calling us pilgrims and strangers, both denoting that our tenure here is not our home, but that we’re just passing through until we inherit our true home:
We’re told in many places in the Brit Hadasha that we’re not to have any entanglement with this world. This is because the world, and the land of this world, is corrupt and it corrupts all that call it home. Paul tells us the following: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 And Yakov, the brother of Yeshua tells us: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:4 Now some will say that what Paul and James are talking about are the things of this world, not the world itself; that being the planet and the land thereof. This would be a good argument were it not for the fact that the “world” in this passage denotes not only the sinfulness of the world, but also the world itself and the entire universe which are all in a fallen state because of the condition of mankind. There are many scriptures that prove that we are not to look at this world as our home. Believe it or not, this is not a concept that is unique to the Brit Hadasha (New Testament). We read in Hebrews about the lives of Abraham, Yitzak and Yakov, and how they just considered life here in this world just a time of passing through: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God…..These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them. Hebrews 11:8-10; 13-16 In this current age, and with our current world in such a state of flux it is imperative that we seek higher ground. Again, I’m not speaking of physical ground, but the higher ground that comes with living lives dedicated to Yahweh Yeshua and the kingdom that we have been Born Again into. In the years to come many people will have things stripped away from them from evil governments and those who follow the Prince of The Power of The Air. What each individual does when their treasures are taken away from them will depend upon who their god really is. Just about all of my life I have been a person who has lived in a lower middle-classed household. There were good years and there were lean years; more of the latter then the former. All of my working life I have been a believer and follower of Yeshua and having Him has allowed my life to be rich and full, even with the lack of many material things. There were times when food was scarce and ketchup or mayonnaise sandwiches were what I ate for my main meal. Life has always been from paycheck to paycheck and I will admit that it has been hard. But you know something? I have never starved and I have always had food on my back because of the faithfulness of Yeshua and His wonderful provision. When I went through those times I would think about my situation and there were times when my flesh longed for things wanted rather than things needed. It didn’t take long however for Yahweh to remind me of something. All of my life, and I’m sure in the lives of many of you reading this; he has been preparing us for the harder times. During those times we might only have bread and water, but we will feel blessed because we have something. If we are forced out of our homes we will not fret because Yahweh will provide some sort of shelter for us. I am fully convinced that when we have no money, no health insurance and no wherewithal at all that many of us will experience the healings that we have longed for. When we can no longer depend on stipends from the government, or the health insurance that many of us have learned to lean on, and we have to depend on Yahweh, and only Yahweh, and when we let Him have full dominion over our lives then we will see miracles that will totally amaze us. This will be in stark contrast to those who have made money, possessions, homes, cars and even power their gods. They will fade away because their foundation will crumble, but as Scripture says:
WE HAD THE DREADED ACRONYM What a year it has been. We were married for a whole 34 days when my Achilles tendon decided to give way and I was out of work for seven week. I’m still limping at the end of some days but things seem to be getting better. When I returned to work I was greeting with the good news that my tyrant boss had resigned but that news was soon quashed by the news that an Iranian pharmacist at work was taking over the PIC (Pharmacist In Charge) job in the pharmacy. This woman makes some of the most irrational decisions we have ever seen and when the truth came out we discovered that her decisions weren’t made to cause the pharmacy to run better, but to make her life easier. Most at work agree that if could obtain pictures of the screaming mobs outside of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran in 1979, we would find her right out in the front yelling the loudest. Go figure huh? There were probably hundreds of better picks for the position, but old yeller got it. I know that a lot of you will understand what I am going to write next. Most of us the age 45 and older can remember the good old America where you worked hard at your job, tried to please your boss and if things worked out right you worked there for a number of years which gave you something called seniority. With that seniority came certain perks that made it worthwhile to hang in there. For instance, you were paid more than someone that came on after you; you would get the pick of the best of shifts and also holidays. Things have changed in the new communist workplace. Actually, it has been quite an eye opener working at our pharmacy. Back in an older day the young guys would do the heavy work and the old guys would do the light work; not at my workplace. In the old days if you were a hard worker your potential was recognized and others were sent to you so that you could teach them your work ethic. Now, a good work ethic is rewarded with more work; so much so that the hard workers become burned out while the slackers barely work on their shift and then they go home. Frankly, I think I could correctly assert that 80 percent or more of people under the age of forty have any concern about work and absolutely no work ethic. Their work week is just a bothersome period of time between weekend parties, camping trips and other functions. The funny thing is that these are the ones that go to the boss and complain that their job is too hard (please!). Well, to make a long story short, this year so far has been interesting. Between the injury, all of the mess at work, Lourdes not feeling well, and me shouldering my work week plus the chores at home I became severely physically stressed out. As August approached so did the time for Lourdes’ father to visit from Mexico with his new bride. That meant really hunkering down on the housework and frankly, we didn’t finish until just before we went to the airport to pick them up. They were here for four days and we expect them for four more days at the end of the month. While here we drove to many places, including Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. This added more to the rundown feeling and on the 20th of July I came down with what was later diagnosed as H1N1, the scientific acronym for what is commonly known as Swine Flu. Well, some of you are probably concerned and others are probably saying, “big deal, it’s just a flu.” All told, I would have to side with the latter group. Health authorities all around the world have been gearing up for what they see as a calamity with this flu and frankly, it is no different than any other flu that I have had. In fact, I have had much worse cases of flu than this one. In other times I had influenza that gave me agonizing headaches along with body aches and high fever. In the past the influenza has given me gastrointestinal problems that made me think about drinking a cement preparation. No, this recent flu was pretty mild and while I didn’t enjoy the downtime, I did get a lot of rest with relatively few problems aside from a lingering bronchitis and cough that still affects both of us equally. Governments are inherently evil, just like Thomas Paine alluded to in his publication, “Common Sense.” We have been hearing and reading all sorts of rumors about this particular flu and how it is an oddity amongst the majority of influenza. Most flu’s start in the Orient and they move toward the west. This flu started in Mexico of all places and moved about from there. We’ve read that this flu hits Caucasians much harder than it hits other races. There could be some truth to that because Lourdes had the same virus but it didn’t hit her nearly as hard as it hit me. She’s Latin and from Mexico. The conspiracy theorists would have us believe that the elites are messing around with virus’; inventing them and tailor making them to attack certain groups. While I dismiss many of their claims, this particular one might have some weight behind it. In either case, both Lourdes and myself have survived the Swine flu with the help of a loving and healing Yahweh to lift us up. Should the predictions come true and this flu return with a vengeance this coming fall we will be in the running because we have the antibodies for H1N1. We do caution all of you to be careful, especially if you are Caucasian. Try not to handle things out in public and if you do wash your hands often with soap and water. If you can, avoid people who are coughing, sneezing or who look ill. If you take precaution you will avoid the nasty little H1N1 virus. If you do come down with the flu, pray a lot, drink lots of clear liquids and plan on being sick for a couple of weeks; the first week being the worse and the second week being a nuisance with all of the petty little stuff. Remember too that if you are born again, you will get over it sooner than those who don’t know the master physician. Trust in Yahweh and you will do just fine.
BOOK NEWS
This week I sent in the contract to Anomolos Publishing, the publishing house run by Tom Horn. Tom told me that it will take seven to nine months for the book to finally come out in print. During that time the book will be reviewed by editors and small changes will be made. A picture will be designed for the cover of the book and other little nuances will be added to make the book palatable to all who read it. All told, the book has been ready since April of this year but certain things happened to delay my submitting it to Tom Horn. These things are to be expected when more than one person is involved in the writing of a book. Yahweh was really gracious in that He allowed me to work on chapters in stages. Jim Wilhelmsen gave me some very valuable advice. I had explained to him that I would get so many pages done in one chapter and then I would lose interest or would run out of steam. He told me that it was smart to work on several chapters at a time so that when I became blocked on one I could work on another. When I was injured back in February of this year I started to work full steam on the book and felt that I had not made much progress on it. But, when I opened the chapters and noticed that each one was more than half done it made it very easy to complete the chapters and within a week or two most of the book was complete. Bless the name of Yeshua. So, probably by February or March of 2010 the book will be ready for sale. There are plans afoot to write another book. The next book will be on the subject of “Time” and will be authored by Jim Wilhelmsen and me. I am not at liberty to delve too much into what it will be about, but I know that most of you will find it very informative as you read how Yahweh, the inventor of time uses it and manipulates it to manifest Himself to us here in space/time. That’s all I’m going to say about it for now.
PRAYER REQUESTS
First of all, thanks to all of you who have been praying for our health. Lourdes is getting much better with her Hashimoto’s disease and we’re able to do more around the apartment and outside. It is because of your prayers that we got over the H1N1 so quickly too. Please pray for Jim Wilhelmsen concerning his upcoming trip to Nigeria and Ghana. He needs money for his immunizations and he’s trusting Yahweh for the funds. Lourdes and I have been giving serious consideration to moving out of California. It is just too expensive to live here anymore. We’re considering Texas and would appreciate your prayers about this matter. Please pray that her property in Mexico sells and that the buyer pays more than it is worth. Please continue to hold us up in prayer. Our pastor states that if people are trying to pursue a holy relationship with Yahweh then they become a target. We have been the target poster children for 2009 and we claim victory through the blood and name of Yeshua. Thanks for standing with us in this. Please pray for revival and renewal in Yeshua’s Church. Revival in our nation and around the world will not happen until believers are renewed and refreshed in the Ruach Ha Kodesh. Please pray that the dark deeds of government will be revealed in the light of the truth and that Yahweh Yeshua will right the many wrongs that are formed against His People.
IN CLOSING
We hope that you have been blessed by this month’s Journal. Sorry that it was a few days late, but there were circumstances that were beyond our control that kept us down and out of things for a couple of weeks. As always, we pray abundant blessings to all Resistance Members and all of Yahweh’s people around the world. As things begin to sour more and more for us we must remember that all of these things must happen; they are foreordained. But let us find comfort in the reality that Yahweh cares for us very dearly and that He walks with us during our times of trial and/or persecution. He who endures to the end will be saved!! Dave and Lourdes
