WHEELS OUT OF BALANCE

 

Before I get to the subject of this article I feel that I have to tell you how my workplace is. Imagine being the only practicing Christian in a workplace. Imagine all of your other workers being Hindu's, Muslims, Buddhists, Taoists, and imagine the rest of the people not knowing what they are. Now, imagine that you have had two or three bad pharmacy managers; each one not wanting to manage until they actually had to in order to stop impending disaster. Also, imagine having a PIC (Pharmacist in charge) that is Iranian and doesn't have any social skills; meaning that she yells and belittles people the whole time that she's there. Finally, throw into the mix some very good and conscientious people who really want to do a good job for their employer; but they're constantly bypassed in promotions and recognition by the people who moan and complain that they (the moaners and complainers) are having to work harder than the others. That is my workplace. Frankly, it is a war zone and at the end of each day I wonder why I stay there but then I am reminded that the pharmacy tech market in Sacramento is flooded and I am then reminded that I should be happy to have a job in these tough economic times. So, when I get home I feel like I have gone two or three rounds with a psychological George Foreman. I am thankful that I have Yeshua and the Ruach Ha Kodesh to comfort me; and of course that Yahweh gave me Lourdes, who is the light of my life and for some strange reason loves me like I'm some sort of prize that she loves and adores. I am blessed for sure.

Some of you probably remember that in December I was called into the Human Resources department where Diane, our representative sadly told me that I had to take down the scripture from Isaiah (no weapon formed against you...) and also the pictures of me and Lourdes that I had hanging there. It isn't easy at my workplace, but I have one great satisfaction that I really enjoy; that being that when things bother me I turn them over to Yeshua, and then I get to watch my adversaries, one by one get corrected by Yahweh. Yahweh has taught me many things at this workplace. The first one is that He has me there to teach me how to handle adversity. I have to admit that sometimes I fail because I get angry; but I am learning. He has me there to teach me to turn things over to Him and many times a day I mutter to myself "the battle is the Lord's." But, one of the main things that He has kept me there is so that I can learn about different cultures and the different religions of those cultures. Because of this I can attest that aside from what the politico's want us to believe, all religions are different and there is absolutely no way that they are all spokes in a great wheel of godly truth.

Over the years I have gotten into the habit of listening to talk-radio. In my quiet little corner at work it is a friend to me and keeps me company and at the same time the talk shows allow me to keep in touch with what is going on around the world and our nation. One of the people that I like to listen to the most is named Michael Savage. While I agree with most of his thoughts, there are just some that aren't kosher; especially when it comes to religion.

On the show that aired on January 13 of 2010 I found myself at odds with Mr. Savage. His show for that day concerned a variety of things, but Michael found himself belittling Pat Robertson from the 700 Club. I don't watch The 700 Club much, but I tend to be on par with the things that Pat Robertson says. Pat sees things from a spiritual perspective and that puts him at odds with people like Michael Savage who tend to look at things through physical eyes only. On that day Pat had come out with his opinion about the terrible earthquake in Haiti and in a nutshell he said that the bizarre adherence of the people to Voodoo puts them at opposition with Yahweh and that the earthquake might have been a result of Haiti's rejection of true reverence toward Yahweh. Pat was right, in that when a people walk away from reverence of Yahweh and they adhere to other creeds or religions then they in essence leave themselves without Yahweh's protection. A brief glance of the history of ancient Israel proves that to be true.

But getting back to the "wheel" theory of religion one has to admit that there are a lot of problems to it in addition that it is contrary to Biblical Scripture. For instance, there is a big difference in Judaism and Christianity where Yeshua is concerned. In Christian circles we believe in Resurrection; that we die once and are resurrected only once; whereas the Buddhists and Hindu's believe in reincarnation; having to live successive lifetimes in order to reach nirvana. The big three religions; Christianity, Judaism and Islam are monotheistic religions while all others are polytheistic in one degree or another. Islam teaches conversion by any means and especially violence while Judaism and Christianity teach that witnessing through peaceful means is the lesson that leads to conversion.

Now we just touched on some major differences between some of the major religions of the world. The things we touched on weren't petty differences, but they are major doctrinal differences that show that all religions aren't the same. If someone were to try to make a wheel with spokes to show any resemblances between the religions it would probably look more like the following image of a wheel.

To try to make a wheel of religions using like beliefs one has to bend, shape and contort the wheel and it can never look like a wheel that can be used for a purpose. Imagine having a cart with wheels like are shown above. The wheels would not be very strong because of the weakness of the contorted spokes. The hub of the wheel would have to be out of round to accommodate the contorted spokes. Finally, the grossly out-of-round shape of the wheel would make it impossible for any animal to pull the cart and using a combustion engine to turn such a wheel would put great strain on it in that it would not last very long. And, imagine the ride in the cart. One turn of the wheel and the riders and cargo would be expelled from the cart.

Trying to get such a wheel to work is impossible, yet, the people of the world keep using the analogy of the religious wheel almost like they think that if they all believe real hard they can make the wheel truly round. I am reminded of watching my young nephews playing with the little block and hammer set that most kids get when they are very young. It is a great tool for teaching children hand/eye coordination as well as shape identification. At first every kid will try to finagle the round peg through the square hole or the triangle piece through the round hole. The funny thing is that after a try or two just about every child will finally understand that each hole corresponds to a certain shape and they'll conquer that toy; and oh how proud they look when they have understood it and have triumphed.

Picture if you will an adult using that toy for the first time. A normal adult would understand immediately that square goes with square, round goes with round and triangle goes with triangle. But just like the religion wheel there will be some adult that takes the child's toy and would try to round off the square or make the round peg into a square so that they could manipulate the toy to behave the way that they think it should behave, instead of doing it the simple way; the way that the learning toy was intended to be used. Humans always try to make the simple things of Yahweh into complicated things and in their attempt at it they just show their ignorant pride. They try to change the things of Yahweh so that they can say that their way is greater than Yahweh and they have in some bizarre manner beat Yahweh at His game. The practice of pride is simply titled, "I will be like the Most High." Hey, didn't Lucifer say the same thing?

Well, getting back to Michael Savage, the story continues a little more. He replayed an interview that he did with Evangelist Jerry Falwell several years ago. I thought it to be a wonderful interview because although Savage asked questions of Falwell in several different ways in order to get him to trip up on his words; Falwell triumphed in the interview and he stood firm for Yeshua and the Christian Faith. At the end of the interview Savage told Falwell that he respected him, but that he had to disagree. He went on a short tirade about his thoughts about all religions being equal and the same and then went on to other things. Of course this brought all of the nuts out of of the woodwork and people did call in to agree with Savage; the sort of people that always chime in when these sort of subjects come up.

As I continued my drive home it suddenly occurred to me that Savage was right and his comments were right too. All religions are the same. They all are contrary to what Yahweh intends. They all either deny the divinity of Mashiach or they warp the mission or person of Yeshua. And finally, they all try a manmade conscious effort to reach God through good works or ritual, and these things are impossible. So in essence, if you look at it in this light, all religions are the same because they are in error. Yahweh desires RELATIONSHIP, not religion. Aveinu (The Father) desires that all of mankind come to Him through His Son, Yeshua. All people who come to Him through Yeshua become Sons of Elohim and become part of the family of Yahweh, which is RELATIONSHIP. So the picture of the wheel that we saw earlier in this article is still the same. It is still contorted, disfigured and ineffective. It is still a wheel, but it cannot be used because of its out-of-true character and just like "religion," it is useless. Below are three scriptures from the Bible that show what Yahweh really wants, not religion, but a family of people who come to Him through faith in Yeshua:

But as many as received him [Yeshua], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13

And:

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 1 John 3:1

And:

That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Philippians 2:15

The scriptures above ALL illustrate that Aveinu wants to have a family relationship with mankind. Imagine if you will being a father. As a father all you want is the love and respect of your son or daughter. When they are young you have such a relationship with them. But, as they get older they start to get ritualistic and they babble endless prayers asking you for something that they want. They perform every sort of good work thinking that it will make you happy with them, but you know the true intentions of their hearts. They don't trust you, that you love them as your children and that your love is unconditional. They would rather try to prove themselves to you, but all that sort of behavior does is alienate them from you more and more as time goes by; because although you love them, their own actions have pushed them father away from you.

If we were to even attempt to describe a relationship with Yahweh then it would most probably have to be by showing a solid wheel:

The solid wheel, like the one shown above is stable, sure and all encompassing. The wagon wheel that we saw above, even if it were perfectly round (which it is not) would be subject to failure. There are too many pieces and where intricacy exists so does the potential for failure. When a part of a bicycle fails it is easier to repair than when a part of an automobile fails; and that in turn is easier to fix then when a helicopter breaks and that is easier to fix than when the space shuttle has a failure; and so on and so forth.

With the religious wheel, the hub, the spokes and the outer rim are faulty right from the start because there is no integrity within the structure. For instance, if you were to stick one member from each "religion" in the same room and they were forced to live with each other for any length of time at least two of them would get into some sort of altercation. If you put the room into some sort of stress situation things would get even worse. Sure, in an attempt to be the most politically correct person each would make themselves act correctly, but their differences would come out somehow. We see this around the world today. The Protestants and Roman Catholics in Ireland live in a fragile peace that could come apart at any time. The Sikhs and Hindu's in India shed blood from time to time. The Shiite and Sunni Muslims detest each other and live under a weak truce in the nations where they coexist. IF they all existed in a religion wheel then there would be six fractured spokes in that wheel right at the start which would weaken the wheel considerably; and we didn't even touch on the other religious groups around the world; all thinking that they have the edge over the other but trying to keep a fragile peace in the name of peaceful coexistence. That is why the New World Order is pushing for a centralized religion that can find the similarities in each religion and meld them together using those similarities. Unfortunately, they'll be united in one thing; their hatred for our Christian relationship with Yeshua and their hatred for Him.

The solid wheel however has no flaws. It is simple by design, rugged and durable. That is the way that our relationship with Aveinu is through Yeshua. Remember that Yeshua told us to:

All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:27-30

With Yahweh everything is easy; nothing is difficult. The problem was that mankind inherited the sin nature from the fall of Adam and Chava. Yahweh's cure was to send His Son to be a sacrifice for us. We don't have to do anything except to have faith in the sacrificed Lamb of Elohim and then all is right. He did all of the work and all we have to do is believe in Him. We ask Him to give us a New Birth by His Ruach Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit) and He brings us a new life and He even fixes us over time of our bad habits and rebellious ways.

As I mentioned earlier, mankind just cannot seem to grasp the simplicity of Yahweh's remedy. They cannot see El Elyon in the person of a servant, which is who Yeshua was. Mankind can't come to the terms that a servant can bring salvation and they see this as being a foolish thing. Yahweh knew that and He had Paul write:

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption - that, as it is written,“He who glories, let him glory in the LORD."  1 Corinthians 1:26-31 NKJV

Almost all of the religions of the world were birthed in the mistaken belief that a simple trust in God is not possible. The majority of the people on earth believe in reincarnation. This stems from their belief that mankind must find a way to appease a god in order to attain everlasting peace (nirvana). They live thinking that they will live many successive lifetimes trying to become perfect by good works and paying horribly for past mistakes. In Islam there is no belief in a personal savior. They spend their lives praying to Mecca five times a day and trying to appease a deity that cannot be appeased. They can only hope that Allah will be merciful after they die and some of the more fanatical ones think that they can appease Allah by killing as many non-Muslims as possible.

Many pseudo-Christian religions are based on the same premise. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they will get to heaven via "good works." Mormons believe in a similar fashion but they are also required to advance in their church and visit the temple for ritual events. Catholics believe in things like penance, confession to a priest, repetitive prayers and good works are necessary, as well as being faithful, not so much to Yahweh, but to the R.C. Church which has set itself as Yahweh's representative on the earth.

Even many Protestant sects feel that certain rituals must be done before a person can please Yahweh. Methodists got their name because they had "methods" as their ways of worship and serving Yahweh. Episcopalians held to many of the rituals when they broke away from Catholicism. If you take a serious look at all of the mainline Christian denominations and their histories, you can see that they almost always started out with a fresh revelation from Yahweh but as time progressed they became "religious" and stagnated, causing Yahweh to start a fresh and new revelation with a new group, and this has repeated time and time again.

So it can be said most assuredly that relationship and religion are two different things. Relationship is what Yahweh desires. He wants to be our Father and for us to be a family. He has offered this to all of the peoples of the world; and because most of the countries of the world have been visited by missionaries, Yahweh's message of wanting to be a family with them has been told to them. Many have accepted His offer and are living blessed lives, free from religion. Many have died and left their earthly bodies to be in the presence of Yahweh because they trusted Him. Yet, many have a hard time and cannot accept the New and Living Way that Yahweh offers. For them the difficult way of wearing the heavy yoke of religion makes more sense to them. They'd rather labor day and night with guilt and sorrow than to accept Yeshua's light yoke, forgiveness and freedom.

And finally, there is no wheel of religion. No, the religions are rather like a wind chime, whose tubes hang around each other when things are placid, but whose tubes beat against each other rather violently when a tempest arises. My wife and I; our friends and family would rather live and echo the words of David in the Psalms who said:

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Psalm 20:7-8

And the words of Yehoshua (Joshua), when he said:

Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.  Joshua 24:14-15

 

 

ARTICLE ON ROSA MYSTICA NOW ON THE WEBSITE

 

Okay, let me explain just a little about what the Rosa Mystica article is all about. As you probably know, my wife Lourdes comes from Mexico and growing up she went to Catholic church. She always knew that there was something wrong with Roman Catholicism and avoided going to Mass whenever she could. When she was older she gave her life to Yeshua, became born again and as the Bible says, "a new creature."

Lourdes had a friend from her younger days whose name is Juan. Through Facebook they found each other again and started to write back and forth and sometimes they talked on the phone. Juan is an interesting character in that he still considers himself Catholic, but he doesn't agree with Papal authority and some other doctrines of the church. But with all of this, Juan still tried to talk Lourdes into coming back to the Catholic religion. Lourdes' faith in Yeshua is firm and unwavering and Juan was just wasting his time trying to convert her.

One of the things that Juan talked about, and that has been occupying his time a great deal is his belief in the Marian apparition that occurred in Italy in 1947. The entity called itself "Rosa Mystica." Just by the name both Lourdes and I recognized that this thing was demonic and I decided to look into it to see just how bad it really is. This study was an eye-opener for me to say the least. I never was Roman Catholic or any other type of Catholic and all of the doctrine of the Roman church really shocked me. I knew that they were off base, but I never realized how much.

The purpose of doing this study was to become informed, but there were other purposes. Another reason for doing the study was to start a series of studies of Marian apparitions to compare them with each other and to contrast them with Yahweh's doctrine, the Bible; and to put that study on the internet to share with anyone who wants to read it. Yet another reason for the study was to help Juan. After reading about this Rosa Mystica [fallen angelic] apparition I knew that we needed to present our findings to Juan; not to get back at him for his attempt to convert Lourdes (although the thought did cross my mind a few times), but to show him the error of the Marian apparitions and the messages of the fallen angels. All of these things were accomplished and I sent the link to Juan. We haven't heard from him since then however and we're asking for your prayers for Juan. He's a wonderful researcher and a pretty nice guy, but he doesn't have Yeshua and no matter how nice a person he is, without Yeshua he's just another sinner on his way to hell. So please pray for him, his salvation and his safety; because when people start worshipping fallen angels they're placing themselves in dire peril. Thanks in advance for your prayers. YAHWEH YIREH - OUR PROVIDER

 

At church we sing a song titled, "Jehovah Jireh" which talks about Yahweh being our provider and supplying all of our needs. It is a great song and for years I sang it and never realized how much Yahweh really does provide for our needs.

I was often told that it is cheaper for two to live than it is for just one person. Well, that is an urban legend and we can prove that. Anyway married life has been financially challenging but Yahweh has been faithful to bring us through things all throughout the past fifteen months. Our truck was finally paid off in November of 2009, thanks to my mother who felt led to give us some money for the final few payments. We have a wonderful mom, that's for sure and she proves it over and over again.

One day I called up the cable company because our service had been interrupted by outages three times in three weeks. I explained to the cable representative that this was unacceptable because the phone was Lourdes lifeline and when the cable goes out, we lose our phone, our television and our internet access. One goof by the cable company and we're in the stone age...lol. The result was a generous credit to our account and in addition they signed us up for the new plan that locks in a rate for one year that is sixty dollars less than it was prior to that.

Last week I became aware that the yearly hosting fee for The Delusion Resistance was going to be due the middle of January so I started shopping around for another service, praying the whole time that Yahweh would lead me in the right direction. The very first hit that I found was for a Christian hosting service (the prior one was bought out by a secular company) and they are giving us the same service for about sixty dollars less a year. Praise Yeshua!!

I've been amazed at how Yahweh has gotten us through between paychecks. I don't make a whole lot of money every month and we sometimes get down to our last five dollars in the bank before the next payday; but we've never lacked for food and I've always had gas for the truck so that I can get to work. We got through Christmas and our birthdays without having to go into hock, that in itself is a miracle.

One of the neatest things happened this past month. One of my benefits at work is a dental plan, which is really pretty terrible. They pay for biyearly exams and cleanings and little more. Well, the exam showed that I have a cavity, a cracked tooth and my front incisor cap has been feeling funny after being in place for almost 32 years and it is getting ready to give up the ghost. Well, the dentists out here don't use amalgam anymore for cavities and the procedure that they use isn't covered by my insurance, nor does the insurance pay much on the caps that I will need on my two teeth. I walked out of the dentists office with an estimate of almost four thousand dollars, out of pocket, for getting my teeth repaired. I could have used a valium before I got that info, thanks!

Anyway, Lourdes reminded me that her brother is a maxi-facial surgeon down in Mexico and that we could see him for out dental needs. The problem is that the last time that I checked plane fare for two people to Guadalajara was around fourteen hundred dollars; but still it was cheaper than the dental mafia here in Carmichael. So we got home and went to the Mexicana Airlines site to see what I thought would be bad news again. I was surprised to see that the price had come way down and that it would only cost us about six hundred fifty dollars roundtrip (total for two people) to travel down to Mexico. I put the reservation on hold for 24 hours so that Lourdes could call her brother to make sure that he would be in town during the time that we would be there. The next day however I got there after twenty-four hours and I lost the reservations. So I got back on to the Mexicana website and did the procedure over again, hoping to get the last price. When I got back on the site I was blessed to see that the prices had gone down another two hundred dollars, so now it is only costing us around four hundred twenty four dollars to fly to Mexico and back; roundtrip.

Now, all we have to do is trust Yeshua for vacation hours that I don't have. I will have about 72 hours accumulated by that time but I will need 88 hours. We can use your prayers for that, thanks.

Now what I'm about to write might shock some of you, seeing that what I am about to say violates what is taught in some churches. Lourdes and I do not tithe in the traditional sense of the word. Actually it's kind of funny how the modern day church believes in things. I can remember years ago that I started to keep a kosher diet and also to celebrate the Jewish holidays. You would not believe how many well meaning Christians would tell me that I was in error and that I didn't need to do those things anymore. Their favorite thing was to tell me that "It is the Law, and we're not under the Law anymore brother, we're under grace." But when it came to the traditional tithe, all of a sudden we had to do it according to these same brothers and sisters. When I asked them where the tithe was mentioned they would say that it was in the Old Testament and I would counter that the O.T. is the Law. The common comeback was to tell me that we had to do it because God says that we have to and I would mention that that makes it a Law and we would start the circle all over again.

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, Lourdes and I don't tithe in the tradition manner. When we have the money we place it into the offering bag and when we don't have the money we don't. We don't stick to the ten percent either; sometimes more and sometimes less. I've been told that if I didn't tithe that I would be under a curse, but again that is the Law. I've been told that if I tithe I will be blessed many times over; but I do get blessed even without tithing; and sometimes many more times than those that place themselves under the Law of tithing. So I don't know what to say to all of you in the regard of tithing? I don't doubt that some of you tithe and perhaps you do receive extra blessings. Perhaps some of you don't tithe and like Lourdes and I, you are still blessed. All I know is that all of our needs have been met and that is all that we really require anyway. If we are blessed with other things then it is an addition to the needs that Yahweh Yireh already gives to us. I will state that if you hear Yahweh tell you to give a certain amount then obedience is required, and if it is ten percent of your take home pay then so be it. But, our lives are living testimony that we are free from the Law, and that Yahweh Yeshua has provided for us in abundance.

 

 

YAHWEH IS NOT ALLAH

 

A few months ago I had heard a rumor that there were Christians in some nation around the world that used the name of Allah to describe the God of the Bible; Yahweh. Seeing this as a gross error I e-mailed a man named Barry Chamish who is a reporter from Israel (now living in Florida) who would be knowledgeable in such matters. He wrote me back a short sentence that said, "never seen or heard of that."

I had originally read about the Allah thing when doing research on another article. There were blurbs on the internet about this; but you know the internet and much of the stuff there is garbage; not worthy of the web space that it takes up. However, lo and behold it turns out that there are people in some Muslim lands that refer to the Yahweh as Allah. I found this out by reading a newspaper that I swore I would never buy. A coworker brings it (The San Francisco Chronicle) into work and I gaze at it from time to time to remind myself why I dislike the paper so much. Anyway, in the Monday, January 11, 2010 edition of the S.F. Chronicle, on page A-3 I found an article titled, "Church attacks raise religious, ethnic tensions," which was written by Eileen Ng of the Associated Press. The pertinent parts of the article are:

"Many Muslims are angry about a Dec. 31 High Court decision overturning a government ban on Roman Catholics' using 'Allah' to refer to their God in the Malay-language edition of their main newspaper, the Herald.....The ruling also applies to the ban's broader applications such as the Malay-language Bibles, 10,000 copies of which were recently seized by authorities because they translated God as Allah. The government has appealed the verdict.....The Allah ban is unusual in the Muslim world. The Arabic word is commonly used by Christians to describe God in such countries as Egypt, Syria and Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim nation."

When we read the article we see that the writer makes a gross error. The writer equates Catholics with Christians, which, by the testimony of many Catholics I have met, is wrong. Catholics that are honest about this will make a clear differentiation between Catholics and Christians and usually, as has been my experience, they are the first ones to make the distinction and they firmly enforce it.

While some might see what is happening in Malaysia as a persecution of Roman Catholics, perhaps we would want to see it from Yahweh's perspective. However, before we go into that let's look at a trend that pervades Roman Catholicism. When Christian missionaries go into new and uncharted lands they are often met with violence. The first wave of missionaries might be persecuted or killed and others that follow are treated the same. After a lot of attempts and fervent prayer and fasting conversions start to take place and after a time a tribe or people is won over for Yeshua.

Catholic missionaries have historically taken a different approach. It is quite common for Catholicism to take on the customs of the people that they are trying to convert, and this practice is to the detriment of their religion as a whole. One can see this practice clearly with many of the customs that Christians and Catholics practice at Christmas. To win over the Roman people the Catholic church took on customs of the Roman Saturnalia holiday. As the Church moved north behind the Roman armies they picked up other customs of the peoples that the Romans conquered. Soon the Yule Log was a part of the Christmas holiday, borrowing the custom from peoples of Northern Europe, and other such things. Over the past sixteen hundred years the Catholic church has gone throughout the world bringing Catholicism to people but taking on the ways of pagans and the result is that it has, as scripture says, "a form of godliness but denying the power thereof." It is akin to let's say a third generation Italian American calling himself an Italian, and even looking like an Italian, but not knowing Italian customs or the Italian idiom, who would be in essence, "having the form of Italian, but denying the customs thereof."

Now we see that in some of the Arabic lands, as well as other Islamic lands, the Roman Catholic Church is bringing little but taking on a lot. It comes bringing its form of Jesus but takes on the moon god Allah's name. But what would Yahweh say about this? Well, he has plenty to say. If we read the prophetical books, especially of the prophets that dealt with Yehuda and Yerushalayim we see that the people of that region did the same thing. Sure the temple of Yahweh existed, but Yahweh didn't live there. The people had erected all sorts of images of other gods and placed them in the Beit Ha Mikdash, and they worshipped them there. Yerushalayim was called the City of Yahweh, but the people worshipped every god but Yahweh. What did Yahweh do to Yehudah and Yerushalayim? He had most of the people put to the sword of the Babylonians and the rest exiled to Babylon and He had the Babylonians burn Yerushalayim to the ground; it was utterly destroyed.

Yet we see and hear that the Catholics in Malaysia are doing the same thing; teaching that Yahweh is really Allah and calling on the name of Allah; even replacing Yahweh in their Bibles with the name of Allah. It is our belief that Yahweh is using the Muslims in Malaysia to bring the Catholics to correction, but is it working? Well, it doesn't appear to be working. They have gone to court to make it legal for them to use Allah in lieu of Yahweh and the Malaysian authorities have capitulated. This is no different than the people of Yehuda appealing to Pharoah of Egypt for help against the Babylonians. The cure for the whole problem was brought to the people via the prophets. All they had to do was obey Yahweh and change their ways and Yahweh would have recanted from bringing them to discipline, yet they did not listen. Now in Malaysia Yahweh tries to bring correction and the Roman Church appeals to Pharoah (the government). It didn't work then and it won't work now. Yahweh will have justice either through a contrite heart of the people, or by the yoke that is placed upon them by the angry Muslims.

The main contention here is that Yahweh is not Allah and He resents having His name equated with a fallen angel masquerading as a God. He didn't like it in ancient times when Yehuda tried to mix Him in with Molech, Asteroth and Baal and He doesn't like it now. He is jealous for His name and will fight for His righteousness and holiness sake. The days of playing games are over and the age of grace comes toward the end. Again we will see El Elyon, the God of Abraham, Yitzak and Ya'acov roaring like the Lion of Yehuda and coming as the King who will slay all of His enemies with the Sword of His Mouth...Amen.

In Defense of Pat Robertson's Comments

I turned on a talk-radio station at work to listen to a popular radio host named Michael Savage. I like Savage because he's not afraid to speak his mind and he often takes the side of people who are being mercilessly attacked by the press or the government. Michael is a champion for such people, that is until someone doesn't agree with his religious views; upon which time Savage will turn and finish off the job that the liberals have started. It is a sad commentary to his radio presence, but it is true none-the-less.

When I got home and got onto the internet I was amazed at how the press was going for Robertson's jugular. It reminded me of when I used to visit a fish hatchery with my dad. Being the inquisitive kid that I was, I threw a small stone into one of the tanks and I was amazed at how the water started to bubble as all the fish scurried to get that one stone, thinking it was food. In the news that I heard that day things were quite similar; but the fish were piranha and the pebble thrown into the tank was Pat Robertson.

Pat Robertson is like Michael Savage, in that he says what is on his mind and his heart and he doesn't care about what people think because his conviction is that he is right. Savage will berate anyone who doesn't agree with his stance on anything, and you would think that having been run through the mill more times that he could possibly count, he would have empathy with Pat Robertson, but alas, that was not to be. According to Savage, all of the religions of the world are like spokes in the wheel of religious truth and they all somehow point to that truth; ecumenism frosted with religious political correctness. On this particular day, Savage was being the hypocrite that he often accuses the liberal left of being. It was a sad day for me for sure. You can often tell when something is a move of the powers of darkness because well meaning and/or innocent words will always be taken out of context, perverted and contorted; and they will always be used to champion some sort of revolt against a man of Yahweh, Yahweh's Word or Yahweh Himself. If you do a Google search of the internet and type in "Robertson Haiti" you will be amazed by how many people and news organizations have written about what Robertson said; and about ninety-nine percent of the opinions are negative. I can only imagine that if the press or anyone else that despises Robertson gets their hands on this article that then the piranha will be waiting at the shore for someone to kick me into the water. I cannot however sit idly by while people use the words of a well meaning Man of Yahweh to smear him and his ministry.

Why would people smear Robertson and CBN in this way? Well think about it for a second. CBN is one of about three Christian television ministries that still maintains integrity. In a society that hates Christians and our God Yahweh, then it would make sense for the purveyors of hate in the media to single out and attempt to destroy CBN's credibility. They don't care about the charlatans who mock Yahweh with their heresies. They don't fear the abominations that are in ministry for personal gain or any lust of the flesh. No, they want to destroy the remaining pillars that hold up the temple, so to speak. In any building, if you destroy the foundation the rest of the house crumbles; and that is what the communist press (CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, et.al.) are trying to do.

Let's look at the words that inflamed so many and that caused so many to corrupt and pervert them:

It never ceases to amaze me that people, who have been the same people who condemn the early Puritanical Church in America of being fanatics because of the Salem Witch Trials, are the same ones who are gathering around Pat Robertson and CBN like angry villagers with torches and pitchforks demanding the head of an innocent man. The same people who who assign the Spanish Inquisition to ALL of Christianity, instead of the Catholic religion, are the persecuting Pat Robertson and CBN in their own Media Inquisition. If you want to see the real hypocrites just pick out the people who are pointing their fingers and are yelling at the top of their lungs, "hypocrite Christians."

During the media feeding frenzy, and while the communist press was tearing at the still live Pat Robertson; the staff at CBN thought in necessary to come to the defense of Pat with the following common sense statement:

CBN.com – VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., January 13, 2010 -- On today’s The 700 Club, during a segment about the devastation, suffering and humanitarian effort that is needed in Haiti, Dr. Robertson also spoke about Haiti’s history. His comments were based on the widely-discussed 1791 slave rebellion led by Boukman Dutty at Bois Caiman, where the slaves allegedly made a famous pact with the devil in exchange for victory over the French. This history, combined with the horrible state of the country, has led countless scholars and religious figures over the centuries to believe the country is cursed. Dr. Robertson never stated that the earthquake was God’s wrath. If you watch the entire video segment, Dr. Robertson’s compassion for the people of Haiti is clear. He called for prayer for them. His humanitarian arm has been working to help thousands of people in Haiti over the last year, and they are currently launching a major relief and recovery effort to help the victims of this disaster. They have sent a shipment of millions of dollars worth of medications that is now in Haiti, and their disaster team leaders are expected to arrive tomorrow and begin operations to ease the suffering.

I think that it the explanation of Pat's intentions is quite clear and we don't have to go into that too much more. I find it amazing how those who have decided to persecute Robertson all have letters behind their names. It used to mean that if you had a bachelor degree, a Master's degree or a Ph.D. behind your name you were a clear thinker and that you were able to rightly divide truth from lies as well as factual from fiction. Well, that is probably still true for people who love the truth; but for those who have an agenda that supposed intelligence can be used for nefarious purposes. This should not come as a surprise to any of us common folks who see the intellectual types running amok with all sorts of strange ideas. As the world is freezing they're telling us that there is global warming. As people are getting sick from H1N1 shots they they're telling us that the shots are perfectly safe. As our nation is being plunged into a debt that we will never recover from they're telling us that we can spend our way out of the mess. The thing is that these morons and imbeciles are the only ones that believe their lies. It is the supposed "common people" like us that are not supposed to see lies and deception, yet we call them on all of these things and then they deny their own misdeeds.

If Pat Robertson did one thing wrong, it was that he didn't explain his stance in a proper manner. Not that there was anything wrong with what he said; it just needed to be explained a bit further so that the intellectual cretins that run things can understand them. To do that in an effective way will require an allegory so that by explaining things in a simple manner perhaps the ignorant can understand. Yeshua did this several times when he would try to explain things to the people. This story should help the intellectually inept who art in charge of things to understand. It should explain to their hearts the intent of the lesson that Pat Robertson was trying to teach. If the schlemiels who run things still don't understand then it means that their hearts are reprobate and that they are given over to an agenda against the almighty. That is the type who will attack me for this article.

Yahweh does not per se send bad things against people. He does however allow things to happen. We live in a fallen world where bad things would run wild if Yahweh didn't offer protection by not allowing things to happen.

It is sort of like this. A King has a kingdom and a city. Those who live in the city are those who love The King. They honor and respect him and revere him and he protects them totally. There are those who live outside the city, and while they have not sworn allegiance to the King he still protects them but when marauders come he sometimes lets the marauders have their way so that the people outside the wall will want the protection that is inside the city. He cannot force them into the city because that would go against their free will, which he recognizes and honors.

The king tells those outside the city that he will protect them most of the time but that he cannot promise anything because they are not his own. He also tells them that if they decide to leave his kingdom he cannot protect them at all; that if they swear allegiance to another king they will be under his jurisdiction and his tyranny. When something or someone comes against the people outside of the city the people can run to the city wall, or they can run away and swear allegiance to the oppressor. The King can only hope that those who choose the oppressor will come to their senses someday and return to his kingdom.

So you see, what Pat Robertson was trying to say is that Yahweh didn't send the earthquake and death to the Haitian people. They were blessed when they honored His kingdom, even if they didn't swear allegiance to Him. When an adversary came (The French) the Haitian people didn't trust Yahweh to bring relief. No, instead they practiced Voodoo and asked Satan to help them. By rejecting the love and protection of Yahweh He did not curse them, but they left the blessing of Yahweh and the curse just move right in to fill the spiritual vacuum. This is a scriptural principal that is illustrated by the following:

The intellectuals often fail to recognize that there is a unseen world called the Spiritual Realm. That is why whenever the words God or Satan or devil are mentioned they are often quick to criticize and label the user of such words as superstitious or religious fanatic. Had they known such things they would realize that when Haiti won independence from the French, they lost their spiritual liberty to the one that they sold their souls to; namely Satan.

It is a spiritual principle that is understood by many; that poverty, hunger, tyranny and many other malevolent things follow peoples and nations that ascribe to voodoo, witchcraft (Wicca) and the other dark arts. Nations that had their birth in the Judeo/Christian ethic have always thrived and prospered, but those whose nations or peoples were birthed in voodoo, witchcraft or shamanism or who have reverted back to such things have always fallen into decay, poverty, pestilence, hunger and death. This is the frightful path that even the United States has decided to walk down, and we see the result is not good, and it will get worse as time progresses and people spiritually regress into the things that Yahweh abhors. SOME PROPHETIC THINGS

 

From time to time Yahweh Yeshua shows me or tells me things that I feel He wants me to share with others. In January I was given a dream and a vision and present them to you.

Dream Date - Early Tuesday Morning January 12, 2010

Don't Fear The Reptilian:

In this dream I was trying to talk to a man about Yeshua.

The man was about my height with short blond hair which was combed from right to left, parted on the side. As I talked to the man he didn't appear to be interested and he was basically ignoring me. It occurred to me that since I wasn't getting anywhere with this man I would leave. I looked at the man's eyes and I noticed that he pupils of his eyes weren't normal but catlike or reptilian. It occurred to me that this man, although of human appearance wasn't really human but a reptile in human form. It seemed like he was trying to project fear at me and I knew that I should be afraid of this otherworldly person. However, I felt a sense of calm and peace and I knew that Yahweh was giving me that feeling. I felt like although this being was menacing, it could not harm me in any way.

I feel that this dream wasn't just for me, but for all followers of Yahweh Yeshua. In the days to come we will see some very frightening things in the way of beings that are not human, but have the form of humans. If we are walking in a sold out relationship with Yeshua then we will not fear these beings; but will feel the reassuring love and peace that comes from the indwelling of the Ruach Ha Kodesh.

The following vision was perplexing for a little while until Yahweh explained to me what it meant:

Vision Date - Evening of January 10, 2010

All The Trees Were Burning:

On Sunday evening it was time to do the weekly laundry. After removing the clothes from the dryers and folding them I walked slowly back to our apartment. I felt an overwhelming urge to stop and look around. It was a terrible night weather wise; fog was setting in and there was a dampness in the air.

As I looked around it appeared to me that the two redwood trees across the parking lot were on fire. I knew that they weren't really on fire, but I could see them burning. They looked like torches; the flames engulfing the whole of each tree and the flames licking the sky. As I looked around the redwood tree near where I was standing appeared to be on fire, as were the olive tree nearby and other trees that stood in the area. The bushes were aflame too; every living plant was ablaze.

I proceeded to walk to our apartment and wondered what this vision meant. I fell asleep and forgot about the vision until two days later. It really bothered me that only the plants were lit and the structures around me all seemed to be untouched as were the cars, carports and other things that were all manmade.

I prayed and asked Yeshua what the vision meant and He told me to look at the significance of trees in scripture. Almost always trees and vine bushes and such referred to mankind in some way and in most of the cases, they referred to believers in Yahweh and Yeshua. While I was happy for this part of the answer to the vision, I began to grow sad.

Yahweh explained to me that the structures, the cars and all of the manmade stuff was the world, and the people of the world; in essence those who did not worship Yahweh. The trees were believers in Yahweh and also believers in Yeshua. This was explained to me to mean that it wasn't only true believers in Yeshua, but those who were faithful to Judaism; the orthodox and some of the conservative Jewish people.

The trees of a neighborhood make it beautiful and without them there would just be buildings, roads, telephone poles and other manmade things. It became clear to me that Yahweh was telling me that soon the enemy will come and destroy the trees and bushes of the neighborhood and leave only the manmade things. This means that the true Christians and the Torah observant Jews would be rounded up and destroyed by the enemy; leaving only manmade (unholy) people.

Whether this means that believers will be martyred by fire I do not know. It could mean that we will be rounded up like the Jews in Nazi Europe and taken away to camps to be disposed of. Any way that you look at it, believers will be taken by the enemy so that only the secular people remain.

There is however one thing that often gets overlooked when a forest fire happens. When trees are on fire they drop their seeds which fall into the earth, germinate and produce other trees. When the worldly people see us taken away they will awaken to realize that what we told them was right and they will get saved and replace the trees that have been razed.

There have been many things that Yahweh has been giving to those who he chooses to reveal things to. I think that each and every one of you is feeling a sense of urgency, like time is short and we need to get our things in order so that we can be prepared for bad times ahead. This was echoed by an e-mail that I received from our Resistance brother Blade which read:

There was prophetic word given from the Lord at our church that summed up went like this. '2010 will be a tough year, prepare to be attacked. Yet. I will be with you'. This word was actually given three times by different godly people including our pastor with slight variations. So, I figure if it was given three times it needs to be paid attention to. I do not know if the prophetic word was aimed at spiritual or physical attack (most likely it was both) or was meant for just our church only or the Christian church and Christians in general or for our states or Nation or some or all the above. Just thought I'd let you all know for what it's worth.

I don't know if there have been similar prophetic words given elsewhere.

Actually, I do believe that it is a word for every group of believers that love Yeshua; especially our nation because nobody seems to be ready. There are still tons of churches that are just meandering along like they have for many years and if they do not get ready for the bad times then it will come upon them like a wild fire. Yeshua talked about this sort of things many times; not just for discussion sake, but as a warning for us to be ready. Hopefully, we all are.

 

CLOSING COMMENTS

 

Well, we know that this has been a long Journal again. Oh, and in the months to come the Journal will have thoughts and reflections from Lourdes. This Journal has needed a feminine touch for a long time and it is finally going to get it. I am very excited about that and I know that you are too, especially the Resistance Ladies!
