More Young Britons Believe in Aliens Than God

LONDON, Dec 18 (Reuters) - More young Britons believe in the existence of aliens and ghosts than believe in God, a survey revealed on Saturday.

A poll of 1,000 young people aged 15-24 showed that 70 percent had "some belief" in ghosts and 61 percent in aliens. Only 39 percent had any belief in Christianity.

Church leaders said they were not surprised by the outcome of the poll conducted by the market research company Roar.

A spokesman for the Church of England said "Between 15 and 24 is traditionally the age of rebellion when people give up on religion. But in our experience people come back to the Church later in life."

For quite a few years now I have been warning people that our young people are being conditioned. I have run into a very few parents who took what I was saying to heart. The things that I have heard were really sad. Most of the time, people said that it is a fad that the kids were going through. Sadly I say too that the parents were being duped and weren't smart enough to realize it.

The New Age has been performing a social experiment in the United States for several decades, and I see now that the United Kingdom has not been immune to its wiles. I have always been of the opinion that whatever one generation laughs at, the next embraces. Back in the forties and fifties UFO's were something to laugh at and anyone who dared to admit that they took the subject seriously was laughed out of town. In the sixties and seventies everyone took a "what if" attitude and more or less dismissed the possibility, although an underground of cult belief was festering. Kids who were born in the seventies and later have had so much of the alien crap thrust upon them that they have joined with the notion. The church never took a serious stand (like what is almost always the case) against it, so with no authority coming against the UFO culture, it flourished.

People need to look at Hollywood, and the junk that comes out of it. Hollywood is pretty well a social barometer of what is coming up next. When the movie, "Close Encounters of The Third Kind," came out it was a warning of what was to come. Unfortunately, a public with tunnel vision (including myself) thought it was just another nice movie. God forgive us for ignoring the warnings!

Christians need to get out there and preach Jesus Christ, the real one. I feel that we have lost a whole generation to the alien scatology. I also feel that it is possible to reach that generation for Christ, but it won't happen if Christians continue to watch UFO movies like they are just entertainment. It won't happen if we don't confront every news article, whether in the newspaper or on television that promotes aliens and UFO's. If Christians value their children, and their children's children then we need to confront issues. Use the mind that God gave you to study up on the subject. Use the intelligence that God gave you to discern the truth from satanic lies. Use the ears that God gave you to listen for deception. And use the eyes that God gave you to see the difference between truth and lies. Let's get working before we lose any more of the precious lives that God has entrusted us with. If we don't act fast, then the article at the top will be repeated, only with the words Washington and Britons will be replaced with Americans.
